I'm not a fan of the .50 cent charge for using my card either. I stopped going here because How Lee allows me to order online with a credit card. I don't have to talk to their kids on the phone when placing an order or get the guilt trip about my credit card. At How Lee I place an order online, pay with my card and it's delivered. The food was very poor. The wonton strips for the soup were stale. The soup was ok but lacked the corn and spring onion accents that should be served with egg drop soup. The sesame chicken was fried skin for the most part. The egg and shrimp rolls were greasy. Overall, a regrettable meal. Lacked flavor and eye appeal. There must be better places in WASHPA. We just finished shopping at Tanger Outlet.and we had a taste for Chinese food. Asked Siri for the closest to us, several came up but the China Express had the best rating. When we arrived, it was attached at the end of a beer distributor. Went in ordered our food, we ate in. To our surprise, the food was "Amazing". It was fresh, hot and delicious, the service was great. We will definitely visit there again when we're out that way, worth the trip. read more

Food was average. Service was poor. Price was higher than average. Felt like I was bothering the woman taking my order. Bill was somewhat higher than I would expect to pay elsewhere. Order total came to about $32 for dinner for my wife and I. When I went to pay with a credit card the woman and the guy behind her started to freak out. "Got cash?!? Got cash?!?", they both screamed at me. When I informed them that I didn't I must have ruined their day. "You have to pay extra" the guy said as he threw his hands up in disgust. I will not return. I just moved to the Washington area and am a huge fan of chinese food so naturally I have started trying out the different places to find "the one" THIS IS NOT IT!!!! I ordered Hunan Chicken and requested it EXTRA EXTRA EXTRA HOT HOT HOT, what I got was so bad that I acutally drove it back to the place. They do not even use the actual red peppers in their food, even the items that clearly state that it is in a spicy red pepper sauce. Instead they use the same red pepper flakes you can pick up in your local grocery store. I was told you had to special order if you wanted the actual pepper, somehting NOT advertised in their menu. What I got was basically chicken and veggies in chicken broth, it had ZERO spice and even less flavor. And to top it all off it was very expensive and TOTALLY OVERCOOKED. The rice and veg were complete mush. I definately won't be ordering from there again and would recommend that nobody else does either! read more
