The faucet was flopping about and when you ran the water it leaked into a bucket strategically placed under it.... really? How does this pass health code? And the paper towel dispenser was empty. Stopped here on the the lunar new year and I was pleasantly surprised. They were running a new year special, their basic sushi was $1 and it was delicious. No fishy smell and it tasted fresh, definitely good quality. We got the appetizer platter, orange chicken, and an other entrée off the chef's menu. All tasted great and had a ton of left overs since we had filled up on sushi and appitizers before the entrées. The prices were extremely reasonable and portions sizable. The menu is pretty big, but they run pictures of their different menu items on the television. I will be trying some new stuff next time I go based off of those pictures. I just moved to the area, but thanks to China Dragon, I think I have already found my spot for take out. China Dragon is a great option for anyone in the area looking for great Chinese food for take out/ delivery. I ordered delivery, so I cannot review the restaurant itself. I ordered late, around 8:30 PM and received my order right on time, despite the website saying they close at 9 PM. The man that delivered it was very friendly, and said it was not a problem at all - I live in Cary, and if I remember right, he said he delivers until 10 PM, and that the distance was not a problem at all. As far as the food itself, my boyfriend and I loved it. We highly recommend the sweet and sour chicken, bbq pork egg foo young, chicken fried rice, and strawberry boba/tapioca smoothies. Their delivery charge is slightly expensive - $5 . I spent a tad over $25 before tax, delivery, and tip, so I was able to use a coupon to add 2 pieces of sushi. As far as "bang for your buck" goes, it's pretty hard to top China Dragon. I typically order for carryout and my order is always hot and accurate. The food itself is delicious and the portions are massive. The orange chicken and beef chow fun dinner specials are my favorite. Their pad Thai and sushi is out of this world as well. The staff has always been very friendly and I've ordered dinner from here at least twice a month for the last few years. This restaurant has been one of our go-to places over the past 3 years. Good food, nice variety, reasonably priced. What happened to us last night put us off them for good. It was the end of a long day. Once we got home, I had to run back out to the store to pick up one or two things while my wife called in our order. It was pretty sizable, about $40 worth of food. We paid for the order with a credit card & planned to tip the driver in cash. It seemed that the delivery was taking a little longer than normal, but we figured they were just busy. It happens. The next thing I know, one of my neighbors is at the door, and says, "They delivered this to our house by mistake. I tried to tell him, but he insisted." (Our house # is 1010; neighbors are # 1110). My wife called to complain about the delivery (and the fact that our credit card information was delivered to our neighbors!) and was told by the man answering the phone, "No, that didn't happen. He delivered to the right house." He argued with her for a good ten minutes (she has more patience than I do). She finally told him to forget it, and that we wouldn't be ordering from them again. Five minutes later, the phone rings. It's a woman from the restaurant. I explained upon answering that we were done, and that I really didn't have anything else to say to them, and hung up. She called back AGAIN and thought that telling me that she was the manager would help her case. I reminded her, not so gently this time, that the discussion was over and that I did not want anyone connected to her establishment calling me. We have been regular customers for 3+ years, both dine-in & delivery. If you're going to argue with me when I contact you about a problem, well, there's another place with Chinese food and sushi about a half block away from you, and I'll happily give them my money. I have been searching for a reasonably priced sushi place for a while. From Sushi Station to WoW Sushi to SushiCafe. (Jurin is excellent but we don't usually have the money to buy from them.) We got Godzilla, Rainbow, Philadelphia, and of course the California for roughly $35. Each were arranged in a pleasing way. None of them crumbled apart. The flavors were delicious; just the right amount of sauce on the Godzilla, and the fish tasted fresh, not frozen or old. When we called to verify that the 'assorted fish' on top of the rainbow roll didn't have Tilapia. Side Rant: *** If any place serves tilapia in sushi it is NOT traditional and is merely to cut costs. They are cheating you out of money, and cheating you out of a good sushi experience. Talking about you Sushi Station. Gross! *** Anyways, the employee who answered the phone was very polite and double checked. Assuring us it would be White Fish or White Tuna. They also accommodated to putting a smaller amount of cream cheese in the Philadelphia roll. I was weary to place our order due to unflattering or lack of reviews over their sushi. But I figured they had to be better than WOW Sushi. They surpassed! I would put them right up there with Jurin. This is my first time here, and let me tell you.... YUMMY! The waitress was beyond nice, very helpful and had a contagious smile. We had the potstickers and crab Rangoon for an appetizer they were delicious! Then for the main course we had the orange chicken and the beef lo mein, they were both great, lots of beef in the lo mein and the chicken was all white meat and juicy. Normally a good experience (typical fast delivery chinese) but last night was a fail. We placed an order on beyondmenu and have never had issues. We always order over $25 of food. I'm 9months pregnant and was just sent home from he hospital for early labor so I had some time to kill. We ordered and then what normally takes 20-30 min, we still didn't have our order an hour later. Husband called and 3 different people asked for our name and address. The woman says oops, we just got your order we will get it to you as soon as possible (what??). ETA was 20 min. Now an hour+ has passed. She says she can throw in some potstickers, hubby says no, thanks, we don't eat pork. She says ok and hangs up. No ending to the conversation. Decided to give this place a try based off reviews. There is a lack of Chinese restaurants with good reviews around my area so I travelled a bit in order to give them a shot. Ordered 1 large Mongolian Beef and 1 large Happy Family over the phone (Friday night at 6:20pm) - the girl on the phone said it would be 15-20 minutes. I pulled in at the 21 minute mark (6:41pm), paid, and was told it was going to be "a few more minutes", so I sat down to wait. There were 4 other people in the dining area waiting before me. An order came out just 6:56pm, and they called out a name, but it wasn't me. Another order came out about 13 minutes later (7:09pm) - again, not mine. Another 12 minutes went by (7:21pm) and another order came out - you guessed it, not mine. During this period a couple of additional orders were placed in the pick up area for the delivery courier. 7:39pm my order finally came out. Based on the spacing of the orders coming out of the kitchen I suspect they had 1 chef and he was only making one order at a time. One hour and 19 minutes for Chinese take-out. I get the food home and the Happy Family container was overfilled and was leaking all over. (Instead of removing some so the lid would close the chef just put it in a separate plastic bag so if it leaked - and it did - it wouldn't soak through the paper bag.) Shaking head in dismay. Aside from the extreme prep time, and the mess inside the bag, the steamed rice was slightly under cooked and actually had some slightly crunchy grains (c'mon guys, how can you screw up steamed rice????). Lastly, I always tip take out places similarly to what I would a sit down restaurant. In this case I wish I didn't leave a tip because the service was pathetic, and the food overall was just average. This was the worst service I've ever had in an Asian restaurant. This restaurant only had us three and another guy at another table. I didn't even see that other guy order. I'm guessing he was frustrated that nobody took his order and left. With us, he took the order but kept forgetting to bring stuff out or he brought something incorrectly. He even forgot my Eggroll to go but I just let it go. It was part of the lunch special. I asked to speak to a manager and found out that was the manager. My friend found something that look like a hair in her sushi but it turned out to be a part of a chopstick. Asians I'm not usually born with blonde hair. With all the mistakes, he didn't even offer any thing not even an apology. I will not be coming here for their dry sushi with weird stuff in it and horrible service. read more

Wow, they have a lot of options here! If one doesn't want to head east towards the Schaumburg area for select Thai or Vietnamese soups head here. I've been here quite a few times through the years. Decent. Leave it to me to order pho via delivery (?). I was just curious to see what would happen and I was surprised! They managed to keep the rice noodles seperate. The broth tasted authentic and refused to cool down. Beef slices were very tender. Bean sprouts, basil, lime, jalepeno were all included along with siracha and hoisin sauce..impressive for takeout/delivery. I had a feeling the noodles would start sticking together as they will continue cooking in their own steam while heading to their destination..there is only so much a place can do to prevent that. If you ask for spicy, they will comply. Of course they have the typical american/chinese food to suit everyone's needs, but they even have stuff like eel fried rice, a sushi menu, a thai menu, even a Malaysian and Korean item or two. This place is amazing! I used to manage a Chinese restaurant and I have been to probably 3 dozen across Chicago, yet when ever I visit my family out here, we ALWAYS order from here. The food is great, our favorites are the Teriyaki chicken, the sweet and sour chicken, the schezwan beef, and literally everything else. We have not ordered one thing we wouldnt order again and we've probably tried half hot foods on the menu. We have also got their sushi and smoothies, both very yummy. The only thing I would say they need to work on is their delivery time. It's never early but most of the time it arrives right on time, no problem. But a handful of times now our food has arrived crazy late, like upwards of an hour late. There are times I have to call and pester them to send our food. It has always been on Friday and Saturday nights. But what this tells me, as someone who use to manage a restaurant, is that they need to hire additional delivery workers for those nights. If they could eliminate this they would have 5 stars no problem! read more

Went here with a friend for their lunch special. The choice of rolls on the special is short, but we could find three we wanted and for $10.99 for three rolls and soup it was a good bet. My rolls were decent, the shrimp tempura roll was very good. The ginger could have been better and was neon so you know it's not fresh. I still think Woow's rolls and presentation are better for $1 more. Also, we got rudely pretty much pushed out when it got close to 3pm. It wasn't a comfortable lunch experience then. The Jimmy John's of the Chinese food industry in the sense that they are so freaky fast, it's impressive. The restaurant is less than 7 minutes from home, but within 15 minutes of placing our order they were ringing the bell!
