We stopped in here to grab Chinese food on a whim one night, I'd say overall the experience was good and the food was pretty good as well. It wasn't super busy when we stopped in, so we were greeted right away and were able to order quickly. It's a small space with a couple of tables, there wasn't anyone dining-in when we were there but it would fill up quickly if there were. We waited for maybe about 10 mins, the food was ready fast. Everything was tasty except the rice - the rice was okay, just not as good as everything else we had. We ordered the vegetable fried rice and the pork fried rice and they both lacked flavor. Foods not bad but it's definitely unsanitary a lady was getting my food together she wasn't wearing gloves or washing her hands and the whole time she was packaging my food she was taking a tissue out of her pocket and whipping her nose she did it a few times with the same tissue while packaging my food. Can I rate 0 stars? I stepped into the restroom, big mistake. The black tar rings inside the toilet bowl were so revolting, I don't think they've EVER taken a toilet brush to it. Ordered Uber eats, the food looked great. Took a few bites and it was delicious. Looked down to see a German cockroach crawling out of the bag the food came in. Drove 4 hours and just wanted a quick dinner before going to sleep - squashed it, flushed it and threw $33 of food outside in trash. The bag was tied up super tight so it def came from restaurant. filed complaint with Uber eats. Well this has been our go to place for Chinese a while but in our last few orders the quality has dropped dramatically to the point I just had to say something. The egg rolls were on point but tonight they decided to switch to a sub par product and it was my last straw. So I called and explained I think I received spring rolls vs egg rolls. You know the big fat egg rolls we all love!! Any way, after trying to make it clear what I received was not good nor what I ordered that's when they laughed and said it was a new product. First time trying China Chef and it did not disappoint. Consistent balance. I ordered two chicken with broccoli. Broccoli steamed just right, brown sauce was delicious, and chicken was cooked perfectly. I will definitely be ordering more from this location on a weekly basis. read more

The worse customer service I have ever experienced!!! I did an order and ten mins later I called because there was no way of listing my allergies... Their Lo Mein is made with peanuts and I will go into shock and end up in the hospital and their excuse for not remaking it was already made and good luck! They basically said don't eat it or taste and see what happens and laughed on the phone about it... They refused to give me a substitute and thank god I ordered from door dash and got a full refund. Had take-out a couple of times from China Chef. General Tso chicken was great. I got the regular heat, my husband got extra spicy--we both enjoyed. I've tried the Bourbon chicken, and wasn't a fan mostly because it wasn't fried/breaded. They have a $5.85 lunch combo--great price and portion size. Neither of us were fans of the pork fried rice that the lunch combo came with, so the second time we tried the shrimp fried rice. It is worth the $1.00 upcharge! Egg rolls are also very good. If you don't get the lunch combo, the portions are even bigger! Lasted us two meals. read more

Used to be good. Good no more. They act like you're diseased when you walk in. They don't honor coupons no more, but still have on menu. Spent $100 on two separate occasions. Told me instead of coupon they will give me free liter of soda. When I picked up my food I told them I will take coke as my free soda. She told me no no! You can only have orange soda. Ok. Give me orange soda. Then I asked her for sauce and will only give me a certain amount of sauce. Remind you I spent $100!!. Very cost effective!!!!!! Came home to enjoy my $100 food with my free orange soda (husband hates orange soda) and my lack of sauces, only to find a wire in my dumpling and almost swallowed it. Terrible. Will not be back. Moral of the story: don't go to a place that is cost effective, acts like you are diseased, does not honor their own coupons and you have to worry about your little child swallowing a wire. After being a regular since they opened something has changed. I do not see the kids there anymore which I thought was nice, as a family owned business and the children were learning. Today we had shrimp toast that was half the size it used to be and was full of grease. The egg rolls were absolutely terrible and are also smaller. The garlic chicken was very hot as in spicy but no flavor and they quit doing anything free with a certain dollar amount order. Large potions, tons of options, and if you spend over a specific amount, they give you something additional for free. Definitely more of a takeout than eat-in Chinese restaurant, but everything we've ordered has been good. I think I've seen people eating there once, and there's usually a child (must be the owners') sitting at one of the tables reading or sleeping.
