a variety of asian food items

This is the second time I've had to endure the awful "food" in this restaurant. The first time was a full decade ago when there was no yelp*. Not only is the food horrible the owners go out of their way to not put anything fresh on the buffet when it gets low. Also I witnessed one of the workers pulling loose lo mein noodle from the water of the green bean pan back into the lo mein pan. The "ice cream" from the machine was crystallized like it had been melted and refrozen, it was inedible. I will never come back. Twice in a decade was more than anyone should ever endure. What I find amazing is they have continued to be in business for this long. I guess that's lucky for them to be the only Chinese buffet in town.

Ah I have no idea how I forgot to review this place. I have been coming to this buffet since I was a teenager. Every year I come back to Indiana to visit my family I always come here. It does sadden me that I have been forgotten as a regular, but it's nice to see that a lot of the same people still work here. This was literally the first buffet I ever went to and the place I learned how to use chopsticks. (Came in handy later in life). My wife tells me it's nostalgia, but I absolutely love the food here. The beef is always on point, the chicken is always full of flavor, and the pork fried rice is seasoned perfectly. The staff has always been so kind to me here and they have always kept the prices very fair. You can get a meal for 2 and drinks for about 20 bucks. I look forward to coming here again next year!!

My husband and I come here quite often. They have decent options here and it's relatively easy to eat low carb by filling up on meats and fresh green beans and broccoli which is why we come so often. The chicken and mushroom and peppered chicken is pretty good as well as the wonton soup (not so low carb..). It's nothing fancy but you fill up at a decent price with a pretty decent selection to choose from. They lose 2 stars because it's not always the freshest and the atmosphere is meh.. I also unfortunately do not favor any of the desserts but they do have soft serve that you can never go wrong with. I recommend this place if you want to fill up in a hurry, but I don't recommend if you're looking for quality and fancy.

Worst selections I've seen in a long time. Very little to choose from, not very appetizing, and only lukewarm.

At first I was hesitant after reading the reviews, but we really wanted a Chinese Buffet so we gave it a shot.

Food was fine, but easily one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had…read more I accidentally ordered coconut shrimp instead of coconut chicken. When the food came out I took the shrimp up to the counter and said, "I'm so sorry, I wanted the coconut chicken not the shrimp." The woman told me I said shrimp. I told her I didn't think I did, but regardless I did not want the shrimp. She went back and forth with me for a while before she said, "it's on camera." I told her again that I didn't think I said shrimp but even still I didn't want it. She rang up the chicken and asked me to pay. I told her if she was going to make me pay I would just keep the shrimp. I then left to go sit with my family to finish our meal. I was done with the situation. The lady came to the table a few minutes later and put her phone near my face and told me to watch the recording of me ordering food. I told her I did not care to see it and was busy feeding my 18 month old daughter. She stayed and played the entire 30 second conversation just to prove she was right about me saying shrimp before leaving and reminding me again that I said shrimp. At that point, my family and I decided to leave. We packed up the kids and got ready to leave. As we were leaving the lady came out and said the coconut chicken was almost done. We took the chicken and said our goodbyes. I have been in customer service for almost a decade and have dealt with similar situations where I knew the customer misspoke. The average transaction was about $400. Instead of arguing with the customer and shoving video recordings in their faces I just made the customer happy to ensure their continued patronage knowing the company would be out maybe $200 or so. To be so petty and insistent over $13 of chicken was astounding to me. Because of this interaction we will never be going back to this establishment and will strongly encourage friends and family to not spend their money here.
