The coconut shrimp is my favorite (crunchy coconut shrimp, drizzled with a delicious coconut sauce), but you really can't go wrong with anything else (except lobster sauce). Speaking of fat, my two year old nephew really enjoyed his noodles at Yen Ching. (See YouTube). We started with the crab rangoon appetizer (photo). A nice value with six rangoons. Cream seemed a little heavy for my taste, but the rangoons were crisp. Mom had the cashew chicken, her personal favorite and a nice looking dish. I had the garlic shrimp (photo). A very nice dish. The rice was somewhat clumpy, and a few dry areas. Not exceptional, but ok once mixed around the plate. Very large portions. Two meals from each menu item, unless exceptionally hungry. Tables are simple, as is the cutlery and tableware. Service is efficient and friendly. Normally, I would rate this restaurant a 3-4, however, the amount of nice food pushes to 5 five stars. Just a really nice value for some pretty good food in a small town. Well done, YC.
