I've given them 4 chances now. 3 too many. I've tried to love them. But they are just the worst. Today was the last time. The food came with holes in the packaging, some so hard it chipped my tooth. Legit. The honey chicken is only sweet and sou chicken with a splash of honey. The only good thing there is the crab Rangoons. That's it. I've tried so many dishes. All garbage- except the crab Rangoon. Save yourself the trouble.

Homemade sauces. Nice

This is our go-to for take out Chinese food in the area. I have another spot as a favorite but I have to plan that stop on the way home from work. There are maybe 2 small tables in the place as 95% of their business is take out. Overall they are consistent and we pretty much order the same thing whenever we eat from here. The one thing that really makes this place stand out are their homemade sauces. They make a duck sauce, a chili pepper oil, and a "clean out your sinuses" or "wake you up from a coma" hot mustard sauce. I love it but almost can't handle it without some duck sauce mixed in. Trust me when I say this WILL hit you hard. In my best Ric Flair voice - Woooooo!

Ordered the sweet and sour shrimp and requested fried rice and egg roll. The sweet and sour is pictured with green and red peppers, onions and pineapple as traditionally served. We were told 15 to 20 minutes. 35 minutes later we received our order. No vegetables and the shrimp was like a donut with a small shrimp inside the dough, not breading. I asked about the vegetables and I was told there's no vegetables with it. I said i didn't get my egg roll and she just shook her head and said, "no." Won't be back.

China one was ok. It was different tasting then most Chinese restaurants but not in a good way. I would recommend Great Wall instead.

They're at 10586 Old St Augustine Road in Mandarin with a nice size parking lot so their location is great and parking isn't a concern. I'll get to the food in a minute but I'll start by saying that before we opened our fortune cookies at the end, I jokingly said "I hope one of these says 'you will get your original Facebook account back". They didn't say that but I included a photo of both because I feel like they're close enough As far as food goes, we split the Peony Sampler for an appetizer and loved it. It definitely did it's job as a sampler because now we know we like all of their appetizers and would order any of them on their own in the future. I ordered Egg Drop Soup after that because it's a favorite of mine. I always add a little salt to their version of it but I add salt to a lot of soups so that may just be a "me" thing. I had the Sweet & Sour Pork with Fried Rice for my entree, which is the same things had last time and it's still great. Between the appetizer and the soup and the entree, I was hoping to have enough to take home for lunch tomorrow and I definitely did. My wife had the General Chicken. She really liked the sauce because it was sweet but has a little bit of spicy kick to it. She said the same thing I said about the chicken itself; she loved that it was big pieces of juicy white meat. She was also surprised by how much she liked the broccoli which made for one of those things where you could get a bite of everything at once. She also had a lot to take home, so she's happy with that too. Thank you again to the person who posted about Peony in the group recently. We had a great lunch thanks to your reminder.

No. But it's good enough that we drive all the way from Orange Park to eat it! Here are some of our favorites: Wonton soup is how I base my opinion on Chinese and the wonton soup is the closest I've found to tasting like it should. The broth should always be dark showing its flavor. This broth isn't as dark as I want it but it's flavorful, again, not perfect but close enough. Each order has a good amount of nice sized wontons with a nice meaty filling. There's little strips of pork and scallions floating around adding to each bite. I approve! Hot and sour soup is great. A little spicy but balanced with that vinegar twang. Tons of mushrooms, tofu and bamboo shoots in every bite. Kids favorites are sesame chicken and orange chicken. The sesame sauce is really flavorful. The orange is good but not as orangey as I would like. We always get white and fried rice which are average like any Chinese restaurant. House special mei fun. Lots of chicken pork and shrimp mixed into the rice noodles. This isn't a dish that punches you in the face with flavor and is super mild. But there's something so good about it you can't stop eating it. Bbq ribs are on point. Super meaty, super saucy. Finger lickin good. Prices aren't terrible. I've seen worse. You get a good amount of food and most importantly it's consistent. I recommend giving them a shot!

I couldn't see the cooking area in the back. I decided to try this establishment because my regular Chinese Restaurant has become so hit or miss, with mostly misses. This location has very good shrimp lo-mein and I was thrilled to see moo-shu pork on the menu. I hadn't had that in a few years. It wasn't the best but it still tasted good. Service is fast and friendly. In an area that struggles producing decent Chinese food this location makes very good shrimp lo-mein. If this is your thing, try it. 5 stars for the lo-mein.

Before placing our order, we specifically called to confirm details about one of the dishes because we wanted to make sure it matched the photo we were expecting. After a lot of back and forth with the staff, we were assured it was the correct dish. Unfortunately, when we got home, it was completely different from what we had confirmed over the phone. We called the restaurant, explained the situation, and asked for a refund for that one dish. We were told to bring it back so the chef could see it and that a refund would be processed. Instead of handling the situation professionally when we returned, the interaction immediately became defensive and uncomfortable. We were questioned about tasting the food, lectured about how the dish "looks different in pictures," and dealt with unnecessary back-and-forth over a simple refund request. Once the manager got involved, the refund was processed quickly, which made all of the earlier resistance feel even more unnecessary. Mistakes happen, and honestly, the incorrect dish wasn't even the main issue. What disappointed me most was the poor customer service and the way the situation was handled. I brought a friend here based on my past positive experiences, and unfortunately, this experience completely changed my opinion of the restaurant.
