Very pleasant people manning the registers. The room is very brown wood theme, but a warm wood. Quite comfy for a hole in the wall. The food is hot and fresh and delicious. Best Chinese food in the CSRA. Highly recommend. I wish they would bring back their lunch buffet during the week.

We love this place for takeout. They're always friendly and speedy. The space is small but efficiently utilized and the food is delicious. The General Tso's is excellent and we always get an order of the fried wontons. They keep the hot chili oil in the fridge and I highly recommend asking for some of that before you go. read more

The food was cooked well and the delivery was prompt and didn't take too long. However, the food was so bland it felt like torture to eat it. No seasoning at all and even when I added seasoning, it was like nothing was on it at all. Not be returning. I've never had Chinese food this bad. read more

I have seen this place many times when I go next door to Marcos Pizza. I enjoy trying new Chinese places and this place was not one to disappoint like others have. I ordered the Sesame Chicken combo with fried rice, some Lo Mein, and Crab Rangoon. I'll start with the only reason I did not give 5 stars. The Crab Rangoon was not the freshest tasting and the filling inside was not correct. The filling lacked any crab flavor and was more like a liquid, instead of a thick cream cheese. The Lo Mein was spot on, and the noodles tasted perfect, it will also not loaded with too many vegetables. The Sesame chicken was amazing, it was not too soft, but not too crunchy. They also did not skimp on the sauce, which is my favorite part. The sauce was perfectly flavored and gave me a hard saving any for my wife. My picky 4 year old even liked the Sesame chicken, and absolutely loved the Lo Mein. One last thing if you have small children there is a gum ball machine inside that takes quarters. They will give you change if you ask. read more

Lunch buffet and take-out are always yummy. Easy to call in for take-out, as well! Everyone is friendly and the food is ready quickly.

This use to be my favorite Chinese place in Grovetown. But sadly, it's gone down hill. The sweet & sour pork is always dry, the General Tso's isn't very good anymore and the rice has been hard the past few times I have gone. I think it's time to find a new Chinese place for the husband and I to frequent. :( read more

I've been scared to try Chinese food around this area. China I didn't boost my confidence. I had the Schezuan Chicken Combo. My wife had the Sesame Chicken. The food looked decent on the plate, but as soon as I tasted it all I could think about was Gordon Ramsay saying, " Where's the seasoning? There's no seasoning!" With the addition if some salt it was edible. Not the worst Chinese food ever thank goodness, but not the best by any means. You could probably get the same for cheaper in the frozen section of the grocery store. Don't recommend unless you're suffering from an emergency Chinese food craving and you can't drive any farther. read more

This place went from 4 stars down to 1. I used to get takeout for lunch. I stopped going because the choices were less, dry, and they were not to quick on refreshing the buffet trays. Another reason I stopped going to China 1 was when they raised the price of the buffet to $8 and some change AND changed the takeout box from a regular size to a very small size. Not worth the drive. Oh and soup is not included with the takeout. When I asked why soup was not included and they looked at me like I was crazy! I now frequent China Wok in Grovetown. Awesome place! read more

Ate here today with a friend. The buffet was nearly empty. I ordered crab Rangoon and it was nothing special. My friend wasn't impressed with her food either. They are not busy and the floors are covered with food in dining room. The guy behind counter was busy with lotto scratchers not cooking. The lady was rude and condescending. She looked at the guy and finally cooked the food herself after taking our money without washing her hands. NEVER AGAIN!! read more

This place is ok... I had the honey chicken and my wife had the sesame chicken. We also ordered the house special fried rice (pork, chicken, shrimp, veggies). I won't say it was gross, but I thought it was just ok. I would eat here again just for the sake of convenience (I live near here). My chicken was a little on the dry/chewy side. Ordered dumplings, chicken wings, chicken fried rice and some noodles. Everything came out fresh and very good. Nothing fancy about this place but the food is extremely good. Order from the counter and they bring the food to your table. You get your own refills for soft drinks, and although this place does a great deal of take out, there's more than enough to tables to sit down and relax. This is our Chinese joint. read more
