A/C quit a couple weeks ago, set up appt to have checked out promptly. Technician was extremely…read moreknowledgable and was able to confirm what I suspected. Compressor bad and shorted out internally, I was given several options and chose to repair for the long term. My home is over 50 years old and attic evaporator unit was as old and in disrepair I chose to have it replaced also. The roof pitch is very low and old unit quite large, (it was a commercial unit) this led to extremely difficult access. Royce Rudd and his crew worked dilligently for 2 1/2 days including on the weekend. To get the a/c installed and working properly. The entire a/c system was replaced and they did not leave until they were comfortable that I understood how to operate the system. The Technician called later after the repair was made to make sure it was running properly. I was given a price estimate early on in the process and on the day the units arrived their supplier had increased their cost on the units significantly and because I had already been given a price, they were willing to stand behind the estimate, but with the work that went into this job I was more than happy to compensate, Rudd Heating and Cooling earned every penny. I have been in the service industry myself and Rudd made this a great experience, all involved were very professional. I will use them in the future.
