The employees and service provided by Indians Crawl.Space were outstanding. I called for an estimate to repair damage to my crawl space. Larry arrived exactly as scheduled to inspect & provide me with 2 viable options to repair the damage. The team leader assigned to my project, James Patton did an outstanding job and took the time to explain & actually show me the work performed. After completing the job, he went above and beyond by sending me a series of "before" and "after" photos of my crawl space. I contacted Indiana Crawl Space Repair for some work I'm needing done in my crawl space. I listed…read moreon my request to be quotes for the following work: -Joist replacements -vapor barrier installation (never had one in) -old insulation removal (installed wrong) -new insulation installation -some work near the sill plate to fix a small leak Let me first say that all the staff I talked with were incredibly friendly! I will pay extra for companies that go above and beyond, and for that reason I was leaning towards Indiana Crawl Space Repair. Whoever mans the phone over there is very kind! I knew when I purchased my home that a few of the joists would need replaced. I confirmed what the inspector told me by getting a quote for the work with another company- about 4K was their estimate, which included a newly found issue, MOLD... I'm reluctant to pay that much, so I wanted a second opinion. So I called ICSR and informed them of the findings and requested an itemized quote for all issues now found. They were quick and polite ! We scheduled a visit only 2 weeks out, which worked fine for me. I allowed the technician to begin the inspection before I arrived back home. He was younger than I would have expected, but courteous none-the-less. The issue was the quote and it's amount. The quote work was exhaustive in the work he believed was needed, which included a very fancy drain system. It also included some other items that I didn't request that would "ensure my crawlspace not retain water"- although this isn't my issue because the crawl doesn't flood. The real issue I saw was that the biggest portion of my original requests- the joists- weren't even included in the cost estimation... when I asked him why he said because he could see no damage. After a few extra questions on how that could be, I discovered that he didn't remove any of the old insulation to check the joists, and only assessed what was visible to the naked eye. The total costs for work I didn't ask for, and for work that didn't address my biggest concern was $12k all in all!! I don't believe his intention was to sticker shock me; i'm just not sure he knew exactly what I was looking for with the work I requested. My rating here was hard to assess- in terms of employees, I would give 5 Stars... in terms of costs I would say more like 2 Star. I will mention, I've been told for all the work they quoted, the price really wasn't bad. Just not what I was looking for.

I have to give 3 stars out of 5 for my experience with Fire Dawgs, however if I could give 10 out…read moreof 10 stars for the actual gentlemen who came to the job, I would. They were very polite, friendly, hardworking and apologetic. Now my reasoning for the 3 stars. I scheduled my pick up online the week before for a Thursday pickup. I had a follow up phone call from a AI representative, which was a very frustrating experience. Also, I had a follow up text from Alex, who said he was the president. He confirmed the appointment and asked me to send photos of what needed to be picked up, so they knew how to plan for my pickup. I sent at least 15 photos of several pieces of large furniture and other items. This was for a clean out of my father's house. I had cleaners coming the following day and need everything out for them. I also had our realtor coming on the following Monday to take photos, I also would be returning to my home in Columbus, Ohio (my father's house is in Indiana). Fast forward to the day of my appointment. My scheduled window time was 1:30 - 4:30 p.m. I received a phone call around 3:00 p.m. from the actual hauler saying they were at least 2 hours behind and that I would get another call when they were on their way. They finally made it to my house around 6:30 p.m. I showed them everything it the house that needed to be taken and they told me they wouldn't be able to take it all that day. They were never shown the pictures I sent and they were overbooked on jobs to complete in one day. The dump was already closed and they were only able to take what they had room for in their truck, which they came already at least 1/2 full. They called for another driver to come and he had a little bit of space in his truck, but it was already mostly full. Initially they said they could come back first thing in the morning, but after talking with their manager, they said they wouldn't be able to come back until Monday morning. Well, I had cleaners coming at 9:00 a.m. the day after the appointment that I could not reschedule, so that meant I had to clean up after that. Also, I had to reschedule my realtor for Wednesday instead of Monday. Soooo, Monday was scheduled for the 10:30-1:30 p.m. time slot. Fast forward to Monday, the crew did not show up until around 4:30 p.m. The truck was already partially filled with someone else items. They couldn't load and dump and return because, again, the dump is only open until 5:00 p.m. So they loaded up as much as they could in the truck, took it to their warehouse and returned for a second load. They still couldn't get everything on the second load, so they had to come the next day for a third time. They showed up on time that day and finally took everything. Shout out to Isaiah who did what he could. I ended up missing 2 more days of work for this and spent a fortune on it. *** If you are the owner or manager of Fire Dawgs please reevaluate how you are scheduling your employees for pick ups. It is very disrespectful to the client's time and also very hard on the employees as they are very overbooked and overworked.***

Good overall experience…read more We live in a 2 story house and had regular issues with huge temperature variations between the downstairs and upstairs that lead us to call a few HVAC companies and get consults. Our initial idea was that we needed a 2nd system to even it out and many companies made this same recommendation.. naturally that comes with a HUGE price tag. Terrell HVAC had a bit of a different idea after taking the time to take a deep dive at the house. Rob recognized that our vents in the ceiling were located incorrectly within the rooms; on interior walls instead of exterior walls. They recommended we move these vents to the outside walls, increase some piping or something and make a couple of the air returns larger. They said this would increase the airflow and circulation or something and in essence move the air around cooling or heating accordingly?? I think this is right.. no idea, I'm not very knowledgeable in HVAC Despite this being a good chunk of work, it was 1/5th the cost of installing a second unit and should help even out the upstairs and downstairs. After a little research we decided to give it a whirl. 6 months or so later and in the middle of winter, I am very happy to say that during summer and winter that temperature variations that were 8 to 10 degrees are now a couple degrees!! I couldn't be happier that we got this sorted out and didn't have to spend $5k+ as many others recommended. PS... I see the 1 star review (after the fact) and have no idea what that lady is talking about. Look at her other reviews... all 1 star too.
