I called Tiny Tom, he dispatched two technicians. They ran a camera up through the chimney and there was no blockage. They advised that moisture was getting in due to prior owner having a high efficiency furnace installed without having a chimney liner installed. They installed a liner and a cap and had it done within 3 hours of the call. I asked a friend who does similar work if the price was good and he said it was a good deal. Use them for chimney issues. The last time, over winter, TWO birds got stuck in it. I was able to fly a drone up and look at the cap-one of our sides was completely exposed. I gave a few chimney companies a call and MS Chimney was the first to get back to me and they also gave me the best price. Once I scheduled the inspection, communication was excellent. Zach let me know when he was on the way and his thorough inspection lasted a good 30 minutes. In addition to needing a better cap on our chimney, the firebox needed to be cleaned and re-pointed. The total cost was $500 less than what my buddy had paid for the same job from another company several years ago. The MS Chimney works with a custom fabricator who builds each cap to the specs of the chimney. After Zach finished that day, I flew my drone up and was very happy with the final results, an incredible difference from the sloppy job that had been done previously!
