Chimney Fresh Menu. We had the Porotta, Chilli chicken, Chicken 65 (must try!), all delicious, and tasted like authentic Kerala cuisine!

We chose to pick up the food to go and have it at our home. It was delicious!!! We really loved the Chicken 65!!!! (we should've ordered two). It reminded us of the succulent charcoal barbecued chicken we used to have in Bangalore, at Empire Restaurant Koramanala. We also had the Nadan Beef Fry, Chilli Chicken and Kerala Porotta .. pair that with some scotch & soda, and some pickles .. Adi Poli Monaaay!

Very poor service. We walked in , there were only 2 couples seated. This place was a mess. Napkins all over the floor. Random forks all over. And almost every chair had grease stains. Very quickly, this place is filled Up with take out orders. It took probably 20mins before the server came by, and another hour before we saw our food. They got our order mixed up, and the food was cold. Not a fan!

Dec 16, 2017 We just had dinner at Chimney Fresh and it was delicious!. Each dish was made to order. We had the Kerala porota, king fish fry, beef ulliyarthiya (beef dry fry), mutton biryani, chicken dosa - crispy, samiya paysam and 2 Madras coffee. The fish fry was crisp, with a hint of spice and just fresh and delish. i had read reviews on the porota and have had porota in many restaurants but nothing compares to the flavor here..reminded me of home! Chicken and dosa, not a flavor I expected to go together...the spicy chicken with a hint of sweetness pared so well with the crispy dosa. The mutton biryani, paysam and coffee were all authentic and flavorful. Overall, the dishes and the vibe here was warm and friendly. The owner, George and Jobi were inviting and pleasant and passionate about the business. George came out to check on us and the meal...he explained that all their spices are made in house including their clarified butter...crazy right in the most awesome way! A night that was a let's just check this place out turned into an amazing foodie delight! Looking forward to going back with more of my fam and friends

Quantity was good but did not like the taste . Chilli chicken almost tasted fish as probably it was fried in same oil.

This place opens at 5 pm so no lunch .... open for late night dinner till 2 am. Went in , restaurant had an overwhelming bouquet of Indian food , after few minutes felt like their exhaust was not working and all kitchen smoke was flowing in . Not good for dine in but we resisted n ordered chicken tikka masala n dal makhani with garlic butter naan .First the servers are not dine in friendly as we ordered the server said " u will have to wait for 50 min as we are too busy with take out orders " , though the restaurant was almost empty with 2 tables occupied . We were patient n waited . To our good luck food arrived in 38 minutes . Vooooooo yeah ! Food looked appetizing , tried the crispy butter garlic naan with dal makhni n chicken tikka masala . To my surprise the food was tasty . Though it lacked authenticity but it was a great creation by the chefs toward the success of the gourmet ! Most irritating n uncalled in the whole experience was the lack of oxygen in the restaurant to breathe with all the smoke around . Though the food experience was good but I may not visit again due to unhealthy ambience . 3 stars for the food !!!!

I absolutely love this place. Normally, a place that has a massive menu is a bit concerning to me…read moreas it often leads to not really excelling at anything, but that is not the case here in my experience. The reason behind the large menu is related to the aim of the restaurant, which is to showcase the various regional cuisines of India. As a result, don't expect the straightforward menu of: apps, entrees, deserts, etc... rather the menu is divided by cuisine. Aside from honouring tradition, they do offer a couple 'new' takes on some items. If you comb through a few reviews, and certainly the pics, you'll notice a must-order items is the roasted eggplant with pomegranate. It really is like nothing else I've had before and unforgettable in both taste and texture. My group also went with a famous lamb dish as well. I don't remember the name offhand, but it is incredibly soft, well seasoned and nicely spiced dish. We also went with orders of naan, veggie dishes and meat skewers. It's beautifully decorated inside and also has the advantage of being located in a heritage building in what was formerly an estate home nearly 150 years old. It's truly a unique place and one people living in the area can be proud and of showcase to visitors.

I would like to thank Sheily who was so friendly and acted professionally when we did not like the cardamom chai as it has milk and did meet our expectations . She changed the chai with Earl Gray which was really tasty. The ambiance was nice and comfort. The chairs were comfortable and the employees were friendly.
