I thought I had broken the hour hand and called the phone number on the sales slip. I spoke with Jennifer and she walked me through how to fix it. I had gotten the hour hand out of alignment by turning it backwards. I wish we lived closer to the shop, I would frequent it more often, but at least I will see them again at the Oktoberfest this year. Thank you Jennifer, your the best! Rosemary Arn

I had a citizen eco drive watch (recharges by sunlight) that had been in a drawer over 10 years…read more The battery was dead. I had done a little research and learned it needed a new capacitor. I went into Charlies and was a little skeptical. It had cases of jewelry and watches, but I didn't see a work area. A young lady came out and met me, I showed her the watch told her the problem she said, "it needs a new capacitor". I knew I was in the right place. They even got it fixed faster than they said, I recommend them if you need to have a watch or clock repaired. In fact I will be bringing some old clocks in need of repair! Chris W.

If you're looking for someone you can trust with something precious and sentimental, I wholeheartedly recommend Charlie's Watch Repair. I contacted the company on Monday 5/18/2026 to schedule a pick up to service a riding lawn mower…read more No one answers the call and I was instructed to leave a message which I did. I received a text message that the message was received and someone would call me shortly, No call Monday or Tuesday. I called on Wednesday 5/20/2026 and left another message. The service manager called and gave me a couple of excuses as to why he didn't call Monday or Tuesday. I accepted that and was willing to move forward with the service. The service manager told me he would call me on Tuesday 5/26/2026 to schedule the mower pick up. No call Tuesday or Wednesday. I called on Thursday 5/28/2926 and was given an excuse as to why he didn't call me when he said he would. I was still willing to move forward with the service and was given a window for pick up for Friday 5/29/2026. I tried to narrow the window by 1 hour and was told that he could not accommodate that and he would have to call me the following week once he made the route schedule. Since he didn't call me the first or second time he said he would I lost confidence he would do what he said he would do the third time. If he would have told me originally it would be two weeks before he could schedule the pick up I would have accepted that. I feel like their service is not important to their business and would not recommend them for service.

I called multiple repair shops and Beavercreek Appliance Sales, Service and Parts was the only company that responded. Lisa asked for my dryer's symptoms and I told her the door switch was broken. Despite the part number being obsolete, she was able to cross-reference it to a current Whirlpool part number and put us on the list for Thursday. Sadly, the part missed the scheduled install, but they received it in time for Friday's repair run -- not their fault. This is our second experience with this company and both were pretty good, but fair warning -- prices have gone up since 2019. Despite that, I'll still give them a 5-star rating for quickly replacing the switch with an OEM substitute (once they got it) and restoring the dryer to service with what was basically a 10-minute repair visit.
