With over 24 beers on tap and seasonal specials, this is the best place to try variety. For $30 a person (price can vary depending on season, it was $25 in January), you can choose an assortment of eggs (regular, benedict, scottish), sausage, bacon, creton, salmon rilette, chicken & waffles, pancakes, toast, bagels, garlic potatoes, quiche, beans etc with all you can drink beer (any on tap!) and mimosas. Similar to how you would order sushi at an asian restaurant, you are provided with a menu sheet for the group and just need to list how many of each item you want to order. Our nightlife is what makes our city and I really hope the provincial and federal government get together behind some actual coordinated support for these crucial local businesses. I used to live near Hemisphere gauche and have walked by all kinds of different crowds gathered outside, it's so awesome to see how different kinds of communities can feel welcomed in live music venues and bars and I love walking by and feeling, not just unthreatened, but somehow welcomed in their midst. I've sat on the window ledge here and enjoyed a cheep beer and the people watching, and I've rolled in here with a crew of badass lady friends after another bar closed and the staff let us take over their karaoke set up and drink whiskey and sing all our frustrations out till closing time, no fuss.
