I was going to pay him right there and then, he said he would notify his niece and set up an account and send me the bill. Two weeks later, the bill was sent through emai, charging me the total amount $250. I called and emailed many times disputed the amount, no answer and no response from them. I also sent them a letter with a check of $100. And they sent the email again and again with the same amount of charge, threatening if not paid in full, an interest of 20% would be added until the bill was paid! they never answered their phone. It is a scam and total ripoff!

When I overlooked the work being done, I distinctly smelled alcohol on this man. While he was almost done he charged me $200.00 service call fee and said he would have to return. I just wanted him out of my house as he was complaining obnoxiously about the work his job required. I should have called the CHP and reported his condition. When I called the owner, she was apologetic and promised to return my check. She acknowledged some issues with the employee and thanked me for not reporting him. The check and my calls were never returned. I called the other chimney service and got professional young men that fixed my wood stove.

He carefully assessed the situation and immediately knew what needed to be done. He gave us honest options--either replace the internal components to save money or replace the entire units. We decided to replace them, and he did an incredible job. He rewired everything, cleaned up some of the previous work left behind by the former homeowner, and neatly rewrapped all of the pipes. Everything looks fantastic now, and most importantly--no more leaks! I also asked Troy about having our chimneys cleaned. He was more than accommodating and came inside to inspect our fireplaces. To my surprise, he didn't charge me and honestly told me they were already clean and didn't need to be serviced. I can't help but wonder how many other companies would have been that honest. That says a lot about his character and the way he does business. While he was here, he also adjusted our water pressure, took the time to educate us about it, and checked our front irrigation system to make sure everything was working properly. He was incredibly thorough and never made us feel rushed. What impressed me most, though, was how willing he was to help my elderly mother. While Troy was still working at our house, I went over to my mom's and called him about an issue she was having with her water pressure. Once he finished at my house, he actually drove over to my mom's to take a look and make some adjustments for her. He then came back to my house afterward to adjust my irrigation timer when I remembered one of the irrigation sections was programmed to run twice. We had him running back and forth between my house and my mom's, and he was an absolute trooper. He never complained, was always friendly, and was genuinely happy to help. Troy is hardworking, knowledgeable, thorough, honest, and genuinely cares about his customers. You don't come across that combination very often anymore. Aside from professionally navigating my sprinkler system, I discovered he is also adept at upgrading systems, including drip lines. Cheep Sweep was established in 1980 and Troy is a one-man show. He's polite, timely, thorough and reasonably priced. He also provides dryer vent cleaning services!
