The next day, I found out I won the raffle for a one-month membership. Let me just say how incredible this place has been. Aria has been amazing every step of the way--from setting everything up to walking us around the entire facility and explaining in detail everything they offer and the benefits of each service. I brought my wife with me, and she had been interested in a place like this for a while. We both did the cryotherapy, and I felt so rejuvenated afterward. I also tried the leg compression, which felt amazing. Another coworker of mine did the infrared sauna and then the cryotherapy back-to-back, and he said it was incredible as well and that he'll be going back. I can't mention everything because I haven't tried all their services yet, but if you want more details, I highly recommend giving them a call. The sessions aren't too expensive, and if you get a membership, you can bring someone with you for just $20 per session. I cannot recommend Chill N Out enough--not just for how clean the place is, but for how friendly and attentive the staff are. I'll definitely be going back more often and getting a month-to-month membership for the foreseeable future.

I have been going to Fitness Genome in Carlsbad for about a month and I am so pleased with the…read moreresults that I had to leave a review so others could find out about this place. The main change for me has been my blood pressure. Miraculously, after doing the PEMF treatment 2x a week for just 3 weeks it went down to normal levels. Because it has been consistently low, I have been able to stop taking my prescription blood pressure medicine. I have continued to check my blood pressure twice a day just to make sure and it is still within normal range. I am thrilled because I would much rather keep healthy using natural methods that don't have side effects. Thanks especially to Chris for guiding me to just the right machine.

Want access to the same equipment that Steph Curry and Olympic athletes use to train and recover?…read moreIt's all here at Fitness Genome and whether training for an event or doing rehab this place will speed your recovery. Chris, the owner, allowed me to try out several of the toys on my introductory visit. You can also follow Ben Greenfield, Dr. Rhonda Patrick, Dr. Peter Attia and Dave Asprey to find out more information on health and longevity. Clean orderly space. Windows are covered and the room is Illuminated by a red light panel. There is a locker for storing your personal items. There is no lock, but you can bring your own if you feel the need. Memberships range from 10-20 per use packs, epigenetics membership (2x's weekly cardio+strength+1 recovery), and the executive membership (unlimited usage). 1. Cryotherapy. It's a whole body chamber and nitrogen free. It's set at -150. It's cold, but a cold shower feels much worse. Benefits for skin and mitochondria. Socks, gloves, headband and slippers provided. You place them in the bin after you use them. 2. Red light. FG is equipped with a TheraLight 360 bed. I have a panel for personal use, but this bed completely surrounds you in red light. Didn't use it this time, but Chris suggested to use the light after cryo for a synergistic stacking of benefits for skin, mitochondria and turning fat into brown fat. 3. Hyperbaric Oxygen chamber. It felt very comfortable inside and I started to doze. You can also request to be hooked up to an oxygen mask. A great way to get more oxygen into your body! Benefits for traumatic brain injury and more. 4. PEMF!!! Something I had not come across, but it's very interesting. Fitness Genome carries the PULSE model which is top of the line. Fitness gurus like Ben Greenfield highly recommend it. You lay on the mat and Craig dials up the pulse until you find your limit/level. The pulse will hit people in different areas as the pulse is directed to where your body needs it. I felt it more in my right shoulder and right hip. You can use this treatment for relieving pain, increasing energy, and even repairing bones. Also has a head attachment to use for people who have suffered concussions. 4.5 NanoVI. I did not get to try, but noticed he had one. It's often stacked while using the PEMF. 5. Lymphatic massager. Get the blood flowing and drain those lypmhs! I recently also had a chance to use the Normatec compression boots that I've seen NBA players use, and the lymphatic massager (Balancer Pro) at Fitness Genome delivers a much better experience. It's the gold standard. 6. Brain Tap. The idea is that the binaural beats and lights will move your brain into a restful state. I would have passed, but Craig graciously offered it while I was using the lymphatic massager. It was BLISS! 7. ARX. There is a quick learning curve and it will give you an intense workout. I only did the row, chest and leg press and each set was 4 reps only. I was toast and breathing hard. My lower body only felt slightly sore and I believe this was due to the cryotheraphy, lymphatic massager and PEMF combo! 8. Inbody Scan. Only took a few minutes to generate some data such as body fat %, lean muscle mass, skeletal mass and other interesting biometrics. It keeps a record so you can track your data. Was free with an appointment. Not as accurate as a Dexa Scan, but it still keeps a record that you can track. 9. CVAC. An altitude trainer that stresses your cells. Slight ear popping, but not bothersome. There are five tiers (20 mins) and I only had time for one. 10. Carol AI bike. It looks really interesting a promises the equivalent of a 20 min workout in about two high intensity 20 second sessions. Craig offered for me to try, but I passed bc I was wiped from the ARX. But next time I will! There's also Maxx O2 training available. 11. Semantec. Another piece of technology used by professional athletes to enhance brain function, visual acuity etc. I used to train muay thai/boxing and it was always the punches you didn't see coming that hurt you the most. Didn't get a chance to try it on this visit, but something I'd want to check out next time. 12. Infrared Sauna. Did not have time to try. Prefer a dry sauna myself, but I've read that you will get the same benefits though it will take longer with infrared. Studies using a dry sauna have shown 24% reduction in ALL CAUSE MORTALITY by using a sauna 4-7 times a week for a duration of approx 20 minutes. 13. There's also an array of tools such as a TRX, kettle bells (try buying one during this pandemic) jump boxes, and other fitness equipment. I also felt very little pressure from Craig to purchase any packages. He is very professional, knowledgable and you can see his genuine enthusiasm for health and helping people to optimize their own health journey. Craig, if you read this my only suggestions would be to look into Nu Calm, ice baths, and upper attachments for the lymphatic massager. Thank you!
