The flavours are really fresh and obvious here - no dried coriander here, that's for sure. Coming in at just over $100 for a family of five, it's not too tough on the budget either. The view, though, is the main attraction - situated on Pittwater, we looked out directly onto Scotland Island and laughed at the folly of the kayakers who decided to exercise. Why would you exercise, we wonder, when life is so good from up here? It wasn't spicy but the juice from the pineapple provided some flavor depth. if anything it was bland but after my experience at other Asian restaurants in Sydney where even the no-chili powder request leads to a fire in my mouth the food from Sky Thai was very welcoming. 4) on the negative side their Chicken Satay wasn't very good and appeared to be deep fried rather than cooked on an open flame as is traditional. on the plus side though the peanut sauce on top was top notch and hit the flavor notes from the best places I've tried in Singapore and Malaysia. 5) they're cash only, but are solving that within the next 30 days.

I feel safe to order pretty much anything here and enjoy it but the Money Bags and Curry Puffs are favourite entre's with my family, and I struggle to go past the Cashew Nut Chicken and Beef Masamun curry. It's possible to dine-in at Noot thai, but it should be judged primarily as a take away restaurant and for that, consistency is the most important factor, which earns Noot Thai top rating in my book.
