Staff was accommodating but very limited service. Hard to get water refill. Unlimited mimosas in pitchers? But no soft drinks. Food was good. It's a shame because the room is pretty. Cash bar was okay. I just feel for what they are charging. Should have better upkeep

My mom's 60th birthday party was planned to start at 6pm & I was told by Jude that we are able to come 2 hours earlier to start setting up and that he would help. We arrived at 4 pm & found previous party guest still in the venue and staff not even attempting to clear the room. I was met with a woman who rudely told me that there are still guests in the room and that we have to wait until they are done cleaning. (Our party started in an hour at that point, it was a half assed cleaning job) Jude had arrived half an hour later. I called the venue 14 times to try and clear things up and no one answered. Prior to the party, I was trying to explain that we need more time than just 2 hours to set up and I was dismissed with condescending remarks as if we were just throwing some pictures on the wall and a few balloons here and there. They should've had the previous party end and cleared out hours before. There was no water, soda or bread set on the tables for our guests when they came in. When my aunt asked of the ladies working for some soda, she was apparently very rude. Our event was from 6 pm - 10 pm. I understand that the lights will be turned on when the party is over but there was no courtesy warning a few minutes before. This is a message to the new management - take it from someone who has been in the restaurant industry for 12+ years, you lack hospitality and your greediness for money shows in the way you interact with your clients. Needless to say, they will be losing us as clients and to anyone reading this review, just know we aren't the type of people to complain about ANYTHING. Don't waste your money here.

Let me start off by saying that I am hardly a fancy person. But for a milestone birthday, I wanted…read moreto create a memorable experience for myself and my closest friends. After about a week of googling "party venues", I stumbled on an amusingly modest website for the Velvet Lounge / Fairfield Manor. The prices seemed average and the photos looked very appealing, so I decided to schedule an appointment to meet with the staff. Initially when I pulled up to the location, I wasn't expecting much. It was the first location I had decided to visit on my hunt for a venue, and assumed I would need to contact a lot of venues prior to making a decision. When I first met with the staff, they all seemed very accommodating and helpful. I had never planned a party as an adult, so I found it difficult to envision the final product. Robbin and Roland were both extremely flexible and I really liked that they allowed for a combination of inside and outside food, decorations, and preparation. To me, being able to culminate a variety of different aspects to create my "dream party" on a budget was really the selling point. The day of, I got to see the lounge go through an astonishing transformation. The months of planning and preparation had me worried that I would be somehow disappointed, but I was rendered speechless by how beautiful and welcoming the atmosphere of the party was. All of my guests were blown away by the event, and I even inspired a few of my guests to hold a similar party for their next birthday. The bartender, the servers, and the owners were all wonderful. I know I could have had a memorable party anywhere, but I am exceedingly pleased by my choice in working with the Fairfield Manor. I hope my friends hold their parties here too, so I have a chance go go back!
