I ended up hurting my shoulder and legitimately couldn't move or turn. I was in excruciating much pain and told by docs it was muscular and would take some time to heal. I remembered the cryo place downtown and figured why not! Cryo definitely helped reduce the sharp pains I was feeling. I felt an immediate improvement after my first full body session. This enabled me to stretch, which I previously couldn't do. I followed up with a few local sessions and I definitely contribute my healing to starting cryo. They have great intro deals if you're new and are constantly having promotions. Staff is super friendly and helpful. They were constantly offering me ideas to help heal my shoulder and made sure to squeeze me in so I could be seen. I was sooo disappointed... I have few home shots tetrazepide. After 2 weeks, nothing lost despite my heathy diet and sport too (I entered at menopause). I called Dr, he told me to bump up, called Westifled chill cryotherapy and the girl told me she will check with the Dr and will return my call with next steps. This was my first time experiencing cryotherapy so I was a bit nervous at first walking in. The place was extremely bright and welcoming (which is ironic because I walked in during a rainy, cold day.) The guy (I wish I remembered his name...) was EXTREMELY warm, friendly, and helpful. He made me feel at ease with the entire experience. He was knowledgeable and walked me through the entire process from getting undressed properly, to walking into the cryotherapy machine, to distracting me while my body froze (lol), to checking in with my experience as I left Chill Cryo. I was extremely impressed with the entire experience and had I lived closer, I'd be coming at least once a week! (I live in California and was only in NJ for the week). As far as the cryotherapy experience: Before walking in for my treatment, another man walked out and said "it's the worst 3 minutes of your life, but you feel great after!" He is absolutely correct! I thought I wasn't going to make the entire 3 minutes as my body shivered head to toe... but right as I had that thought, the employee tells me "ok halfway there!" and I was like "wow really!?" (aka it went by faster than I thought it was going). After the 3 minutes, my body was cold but felt warm by the robe I put on right away. I also got a cryofacial so I laid in my robe a few minutes after. Everything felt amazing! I wanted to get back in the cryotherapy machine right away. It felt too short (lol). I have since tried going to a cryotherapy here in California, but nothing compares to my experience here. I HIGHLY recommend this place! I suffer from spinal stenosis and an autoimmune disease. Chill is very bright and clean and the staff excellent. I had a couple sessions and then became too ill to finish. I'm doing a two week every day unlimited right now. Hoping for the same result with back pain as the owner. Love this place! It's literally my happy place, I get so excited to go and always leave feeling amazing from the inside out. The infrared sauna helps me sleep so much better and helped with weightloss, and the cryo chamber has completely improved my terrible circulation. I used to always be "the cold one" shivering regardless of temperature, and all winter I was a different person - there were days I hopped in my car and realized halfway through my trip I forgot my coat! The place is very bright and clean. There is parking in the back, if you go early there is street parking. I was checked in. I was explained of the process. The guy was very helpful and did a great job of distracting you so that the time could go quick. It was very quick but very helpful. I slept well that night. 3 min of cold, you actually feel the warm down as very therapeutic. I would go again but it's so pricey. I'm not very adventurous and looked at cryotherapy with mild interest and wondered,who in the Hell does that? Voluntary going into a freezing cold chamber?!?? A recent back injury that didn't respond to chiropractic care due to excessive swelling had the doctor recommending a visit for treatment on an isolated area. The isolated treatment was a breeze--a few minutes of cool air being blown on my back and a few hours later I was moving better. I returned 2 days later for the full experience. Again, the staff were great. It was easy to get into the chamber even with back pain and using crutches, the technician was terrific and was in sight and told me what to expect at each step. Although cold, it was never unbearable and surprisingly I wasn't freezing after the session. I noticed improvement in my back pain the next day and an added bonus was the cellulite on the back of my legs was smooth. The smoothness lasted for 6 days!
