She fit us in quickly because my black lab has surgery coming up this Wednesday, which I really appreciated. What truly sets her apart, though, is the care and understanding she shows for each dog. My fox red lab is extremely nervous around people. She usually barks, cowers, and takes a long time to warm up. Cathy generously offered for me to bring her in just to spend time in the space with her, her husband, and their dogs, purely to help her feel more comfortable. The moment we arrived, I could tell this place was special. The space is beautiful and clearly designed with dogs in mind, and Cathy herself is just lovely. Almost immediately, my nervous pup, who usually barks at everyone, was calmly approaching her, sniffing her hand, and even taking treats without making a sound. I was honestly amazed. I left feeling completely at ease, knowing both of my dogs were in the best possible hands. Cathy kept me updated throughout the entire visit, not only about my black lab's groom, but also about my other pup who wasn't even there for a groom. She simply took the time to help her build comfort and trust for future visits, which is something you just don't see often. When I came back, my black lab looked perfect, and both dogs were happy, relaxed, and honestly didn't want to leave. That says everything. People like Cathy are truly special. This is absolutely our place from now on.

Heather made a plan to gently help London understand and get accustomed to the grooming process. Heather has helped me and my family understand London, her breed, her needs, and tips tricks and hacks that make caring for her at home a breeze. I love that The Bark Side is so on it that they give me London's groom schedule for the whole year so I never have to wonder when her next appointment is or have to keep up with booking it myself. Upon me sharing my concerns, she basically responded saying if we didn't show up, we would still have to pay for the apt. I made changes to my schedule and took my dog in. Heather was so condescending when I dropped off and picked up my dog. I left thinking she must just not want my business anymore. As I've read other reviews in here, apparently I'm not the only customer that she is condescending to. And, if she is like that with customers, how is she treating your pet? I'm at peace with my decision to move on.

I hadn't been here in a while. I think the last time they saw my dog was around Covid time. However, I think their service is very reasonably priced. I will also say I think they did a fun great job with my pup. Most places wanna charge you over $100 luckily this place was under 100 and it included the wash as well as a nail trim and she didn't look horrible after . I am glad they were able to take me in the lady at the front desk was very nice and accommodating. I will definitely be going back here for Haircut for my pup.

Mel and Kingman have such a gentle, reassuring, loving way about them that Trixie purrs through her mani-pedi appointments. She purrs!!! The mobile aspect is a Godsend too. Mel texts a picture of Trixie after the nail trim if I'm not home (which is to say that I can carry on with my day and can still get the claws trimmed ---- LOVE that!). During one appointment, I happened to mention that Trixie throws up a lot so Mel suggested it might be due to chicken in her diet. Mel sure knows cat behavior because I tried kibble without any chicken and WOW what a difference in Trixie's digestion. Thank you Mel and Kingman for your loving help with my kitty.

She did everything I asked for as far as the appearance I asked for & did a great job with the other stuff like nails, cleaning, being patient with the introduction process to my Pablo, etc. I've used several mobile pet groomers for my pup but when my baby came out, I have never seen him so excited & happy following a grooming appointment. It was all worth the patience to get through the little hiccups leading up to the appointment because I know my sweet boy was well taken care of. He feels much better shedding all that fur in this heat & the bandana was such an adorable touch. You can tell that Snazzy really cares about the pets she takes care of & about what she does & that makes me feel amazing. Thank you for making my boy a happy boy!
