    Chicken Bacon Ranch Quesadilla

We got there (party of 3) around 6pm on a Friday night. The wait was 30-40 minutes. The hostess wasn't very friendly. Then the manager came on the scene and things started moving. Our waitress arrived shortly after we were seated. She was very friendly! We told her we were on a time constraint and she was very accommodating. She memorized all of our food and drink orders and brought them out promptly. She continued to be very attentive and friendly for the remainder of our time there. Her name was EMILY! She was a great server!!

I've always had good experiences here. My only complaint about the place is the corn on the cob is always horrible!

We love this placeeee!!!…read more They have a sister restaurant in Shadyside.. Tocayo... but Totopo is sooo much bigger. Right on the Main Street of Mt. Lebanon, we have been here a handful of times. The restaurant has won countless awards through the years and they deserve it. Right from the jump, you can see the modern and thematic choices that transport you into an ambiance worth the dining experience already. The staff is great, always attentive, and the wait staff constantly will check in on you. This trip, we had earned some rewards (they have an awesome reward program... who doesn't like free food) so we just wanted a quick bite. It was happy hour on apps, so we just got the Carnitas Nachos and Queso. They always give chips and salsa... which is soooo good. We almost ordered the table side fresh made guacamole but the nachos came with guacamole. Let's just say two apps... STUFFEEEEDDDD us. Everything was so good. The carnitas had a wonderful smoky taste and was so juicy. Everything was fresh made. We ate and left happy for only $3.

The chips and salsa are a great start but the meals were even better! My husband ordered two sets of two tacos...not great! He did not need both sides of rice and beans but didn't realize they would bring out one for each order. I picked a combo dinner and both of my picks were delicious. We would love to go back and try even more items from the menu.

It was just my husband and I and we were able to snag a seat at the bar after a few minute wait. The var was hustling most of the tables were filled and all the seats at the bar were taken. The bartender, Shay, was fabulous and made our dining out experience one of the best we've had in a long time! She was excellent, not only did she provide efficient service, she was full of personality and truly made the visit enjoyable. The food didn't disappoint either. We had chips and salsa and shared an appetizer trio and a burger all of which hit the spot! And a trip to chilis isn't complete without taking home chips and salsa for later!

So here goes my most recent visit after a 7+ year gap. While it has been over 7 years since my last visit to a Chilis it is over 10 years since my last visit to this location. Not much has changed in that time. I was alone and quickly greeted. I was offered a spot in the bar area but declined. I sat in the dining room and a waitress quickly appeared. I ordered the chicken crispers with BBQ sauce and fries. My meal came out quickly but the chicken crispers were over fried and dry. Fries were ok. This meal is not worth $17.00. Service was ok. Based on my recent experience I have no urge to return the Chilis anytime in the near future. Always other options!

My most recent visit to Condado was on a Monday this past August. I met up with several of my…read morefamily members to enjoy an evening together. This Condado Tacos location is within South Hills Village mall. You still see it from the road, as it is on the outer part of the mall. It has signage on the exterior, but the main entrance has you going into the mall and entering through there. The patio is accessible from the outside. There is no shortage of parking options here, since it is within the mall. If it is a busy shopping day, the parking might be a little ways away. However, you should be able to find a spot! Since it was so nice out, we opted for seats on the patio. There are plenty of seating options both inside and out. Outside has typical tables and chairs. The inside has those as well, along with bar seating and bar-height tables. We visited on a Monday around 6:00 PM, and it was not terribly busy. We were seated immediately, and got to choose where we wanted to sit. Our waitress was kind, quick, and attentive during our whole visit. The group decided on ordering the Three Buds as an appetizer. This is essentially a dip trio with your choice between several Quesos, Salsas, Guacamoles, and Mexican Street Corn dips. We chose the Corn Salsa, Traditional Guacamole, and Queso Blanco in the Full Size option, since it was shared amongst five people. These came with chips for dipping, of course. Everyone loved the different options of this! I personally appreciated getting to pick between a lot of different dips. This would be a great appetizer to appease a crowd with several differing palates. For my entree, I chose two tacos: the Lucy's Fire and the Braised and Confused. The Lucy's Fire had corn on it, which I really liked. The unique jicama and cabbage slaw on the Braised and Confused was a nice addition. Both were really good overall! I thought they were both a great size that definitely filled me up, especially paired with the dips. I thought the value for the items I ordered was there. Though some of it may seem a little expensive on paper, the portions were fair for the price. I remember this restaurant being somewhat pricey from previous visits, but it was not as bad as I recalled. It had been a few year since my last visit, so my memory might have been a little off there. Though I did not get any, I thought the prices on the burritos and bowls were very reasonable. I suppose it will just depend on what you order if you find the value to be there! Honestly, I was pleasantly surprised with this visit to Condado! As stated, I have been here in the past and really was never super impressed. I enjoyed everything I ate on this visit, along with the great service received. The prices were fair for what I ordered, and I appreciated all of the different options. I would return here for a visit in the future, and would recommend giving it a try if you are looking for some Tex Mex food while in the South Hills Village area!

The second taco was brought out quickly and I finished it in the same amount of time. Friendly server checked in on us again and I couldn't help myself. I ordered a third Baja Shrimp Taco! Noticed they have garage-style doors that open up to allow fresh-air dining, both inside and patio. Everything was clean and bright.

They have a good amount of options for gluten free people and that's what we were looking for. They were slammed packed for Cinco De Mayo though so it was a good thing that they had all that air flow or it would have been super hot. Upon going to the host station we were told 45 minutes to an hour wait. We were okay with it since we dealt with the terrible food at the place before. We waited about 45 minutes for our margaritas after I had already waited 20 minutes at the bar for a drink. We got waited by the hostess and she was very friendly. It wasn't her fault EVERYTHING took forever to come. My son got the ribs and he said they were amazing. We got some wings and the Mexican Ceasar Salad. Both were really good. If you don't like spicy I highly recommend NOT getting the wings. I love buffalo wings though so I thought they were super yummy. I was not the biggest fan of their margaritas but my boyfriend loved them. Im sure if we went on a normal day it would be a great place with some chill vibes.
