Chilis always hits the spot. On this particular day I came in for lunch to try the Good Witch Margarita. I ordered the Triple Dipper for my meal ( Egg rolls, Honey Chipotle Crispers, and Big Mouth Bites) amazing as always. The Good Witch Margarita was so good, and strong. The food was bad I got the new appetizer with the southwestern Queso. Let me tell you it tases like shit and it was cold the chicken was like the precooked from the store but never warmed up. the cheese was shredded cheese just sprinkled with sauce pored on top. when I told the bartender she was like oh well and the customers next to me were all complaining about the food. If I could give 0 stars, I would. Terrible experience from start to finish. Waited forever to be seated even though the place was half empty. Our server disappeared for long stretches and messed up our order. Food came out cold, overcooked, and definitely not worth the price. Drinks were watered down, and the place didn't feel clean at all. Management didn't seem to care when we brought it up--just brushed it off. Definitely not coming back. We ordered queso and chips, they brought out guacamole and chips. And you would think that a restaurant named Chili's would have great chili right, well that is NOT the case. Seriously the worst chili I have ever had, even my hubby who will eat almost anything said it was horrible. The texture was fine and the tortilla strips were a nice touch, but the chili itself was bitter with way too much chili powder, all you could taste was the chili powder. I'm not sure what I was expecting of a Chili's Caribbean salad but some flavor would have been nice. It was sloppy, filled with large chunks of hard iceberg lettuce, no dressing, cold shrimp and mushy mandarin oranges. I asked the waiter to bring me some dressing and when I asked if there was any on it he let me know they could be skimpy on dressing. On dressing? Ok. My table mates had burgers and they were dripping with grease and were not asked how they would like them cooked. We also ordered chips and queso and the chips were extremely greasy. Like someone had spayed grease all over them. Yuck. The fries were good and fresh and we were greeted by several staff asking how we were. Staff is great but food is sub par at best. I'm sitting at the bar writing a review about how bad of service we're getting right now. I never like to do reviews because most of the time I feel like I'm going out of the way to criticize a restaurant. The bartender looks like she's high as a kite and doesn't even care to be at work. Secondly, I asked for an item on the menu and quickly changed my mind. I wanted to ordered something different. She insisted over and over that she already put the order in not allowing me to change the order. I work in the service industry and if someone wants to change an order my managers and owners are all over it to accommodate the patrons desires. Satisfied customers will more than likely get you repeat business and/or maybe even gain a regular. Instead, I just rather not come back at all. While the quality of food and service here has had its ups and downs. I feel both are on an upswing in 2022. Thinking about my last 10-12 meals there only one wasn't in my very good to great category. That was chicken strips and fries I ordered late-evening (not an excuse in my book) and both were cold. The hits for me are the ribeye steak w/shrimp, bacon burger, chili burger, buffalo chicken salad/sandwich, SW chicken soup, grilled asparagus, Santa Fe chicken salad and if I'm being bad chips and skillet queso. Recently one of the ribeyes I had was probably the best I've had in the last year and I eat steak several times a month at many different restaurants and steakhouses. The grilled shrimp and asparagus are very good as well. The service is very solid considering the staffing issues all restaurants seem to be dealing with. I'm usually by myself and sitting in the bar area and Adran and Lexi take great care of me. Give them a chance they have been really good in 2022. read more

So my hubby and I visited for the specific original chicken crispers for me as I've been craving them. Welp, nope they have a different now. It is just like every other chicken place. So we had not been to a chilies in about 6 years and will not be going back now as that changed. Came in to pick up my order. Workers stating that the order had been picked up by the grub hub driver. I told them and showed them the screenshot of my order being specifically for "pick up". The workers did not handle the situation in a well-mannered way. They were very busy and i'm sure they are understaffed like every other business but being kind in a frustrating situation helps more than not being kind. I feel as though they were not understanding me and acting like it's no big deal. Chilis is not super expensive but it can be costly with a family of 4. So coming in and not being heard can be so frustrating. I hope customer service training is something in place at this establishment. It would make it a little easier of a process. read more

Went today with my daughter. The hostess said their was a staff shortage, so the wait would be 10-15 min. That's fine, completely understand. While waiting, the glass doors to enter in were so nasty!! Covered in handprints and lord knows what else. The floors were about the same. Food and water on floors, with paper rags over the wet spots. Yes, they were short staffed, but we saw our waitress 2 times. To take our order, and bring us chips. That was it. She would avoid us, or cleaning up other tables. Finally I had to call for her to put our order in to pay. Place gets 2 stars because they don't know how to train the cook to make a steak, constantly order a 6oz sirloin medium well when we come here and guess what, it's constantly badly cooked, from bleeding out to dry and chewy, ridiculous for this to happen EVERY time I've been here in the last 2 months, it's like they just don't care that he is wasting these steaks, I'd have fired that cook and found a new one over all the wasted product! These are supposed to be medium well and the one on the bottom is clearly raw in the middle, mine is also raw In the middle. Servers aren't usually a problem and overall the service is good but I'm tired of paying a place to cook the food wrong time and time again, oh, and it seems like a problem with the whole area as far as portions go, if someone orders a 6oz steak you need to cut a 7-8oz piece to make up for what gets cooked off. I order chili's all the time and I'm never waiting this long on my to go order. They have a designated section for Togo, to go parking, to go door, etc. but nobody working the Togo area. Most chili's will put a sign that says see bartender, but this one did not. Ironically enough, nobody was at the bar either. Not a bartender or customer in sight. Like does anybody work here? It's Friday at 1pm (lunch time) Nobody greeted me and then after 15 min of waiting the bartender shows up out of nowhere like he was smoking in the back. Horrible customer service and clearly poor management. Something must be done! read more

So... Haven't been to Chili's in a while. Decided to give the new menu a shot. My daughter and I had the Sweet & Smokey Burger. The burger was quite tasty. A bit smallish but eh, I got the new Skillet Smoked Potato Wedges to dig into while my daughter had the standard fries. This is where the disappointment happened. I open the styrofoam container and low and behold... Nine (9) wedges. SERIOUSLY! NINE WEDGES!!! They are potatoes. The cheapest and most plentiful of the sides. I mean, do they come out of the employees pockets?! If you put more than nine wedges in there would you have to run a credit check on me?? Nine... That is just shameful. Ugh! An $11 burger shouldn't come with only nine F-ing wedges. Would have given more stars but that was just pathetic. read more

Hungry like Tha wolf mannnnnnnn.... Seriously!!!! I waited 36 minutes for food and I was howling for my Wolfpack to bust outta this Chili's. Cmonnnn man?! You can't keep us hungry. The wait, once we sat, was about (15) minutes. Then, the order...another 30 mins. What do you know??? I was wrong with my math. Nearly 45 mins for food. I could've hunted for squirrels, raccoons or even the chubracabra When it came to paying, that's anotha story. Felt like I was being treated like a second class citizen to Tha vampires (Twilight movie reference here)! Me coming to this Chili's location made me mad!!!
