The Nashville Hot trend has been out for awhile. From chicken sandwiches to tenders, nashville hot is not a new commodity, which I didn't indulge in because I have to watch the spice level on most foods, but when I saw Chili's come out with these Nashville Hot Mozz sticks, I knew one day I would have a major cheat day and try them. Fast forward to this weekend, and instead of joining the group for dinner and paying an astronomical amount of money at the hotel restaurant, I decided to use my Uber Eats that had been enticing me for months amd order from Chilis- specifically to taste the Nashville Hot mozz sticks. First off, the mozz sticks are huge! Theyre almost very close in size to a regular size hershey chocolate bar, but thick because of the cheese. Secondly the seasoning was plentuful as the mozz sticks were coated thoroughly with Nashville Hot seasoning infused with the breading of the sticks. Drizzle some ranch dressing on the mozz sticks and that first bite will not be your last! Since I order the Triple Dipper, I received 2 sticks. This was plenty to endulge with, along with the burger and 4 wings, which I upcharged to get turned into Nashville Hot, this app is a winner! If and when I return to a Chilli's my priority will be to ensure I order the Nashville Hot mozz sticks!

Chili's has always been a mediocre staple of American dining. It's not top tier but it's also not bottom shelf. We go here out of convenience and sometimes necessity when there's nothing else open since they're open later on the weekends compared to other restaurants. Now that there are plenty of other options in The Woodlands it would be hard to choose Chili's over those other options. Drinks are always watered down when I come here. It's like they barely put any liquor in the margaritas. The appetizers and entrees are good enough. The service is a hit or miss. Sometimes you get good servers, other times you get servers who are barely at your service. Chili's is pretty family friendly though and large group friendly so it's not a bad idea to take kids here. Plenty of options in the menu and they have a bar area or TV's around if you want to watch a sports event.

It's been a few decade since my last visit to Chili's. I was in CA at that time. Now here in TX after 3 long years, yesterday was my first time dining again with a group of friends. I was surprised they had a few good dishes and enjoyed my chicken quesadillas It was a good experience, I will return again.

6 days z sirloin with mashed potatoes & broccoli.

Great food & service! I just had their 6 oz sirloin, mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli for an early dinner. The steak was perfectly cooked! To celebrate my birthday, they gave me their chocolate molten cake watch out for that one! That was way too good. I'll definitely be back! Thank you to all those servers that took care of me! That made it even that much more perfect.

Our food was good and came out super fast. Service was good. We always have a good experience at this chilis.

Location is by I45 and pretty easily accessible. Honestly the food isn't great. Service is fine. The inside is a bit dated and old. The food were, almost for sure, frozen then cooked quickly. The Sampler was decent, with the spring rolls, Buffalo bites, and crispy chicken. The entree however was less than desirable with the quesadillas (weird sauce and an off taste), ribs (they were fine), and fried chicken (not great...) Wouldn't really recommend but I guess some people like Chili's.

Best deal here by far is the endless soup, salad, and chips and salsa, which unfortunately is now only available M-F during lunch. They still have a great deal, 3 for Me value meal which includes a beverage, appetizer, and entree for around $11-15. I got the Old Timer with cheese, added grilled onions, and the Dip Trio. Hubby got the Just Bacon Burger with Chicken Enchilada Soup. Delicious burgers, and I was surprised by how good their white queso was. Chips and salsa are always a hit. Service was also great. Staff was friendly, checked in regularly, and kept our waters full. The restaurant was clean, but it was also a little slow when we went. We would never eat here again.

The food was good once we got it. According to the server, they only had one cook in the kitchen. Not the best situation to be in during spring break w/ families coming to your restaurant for lunch. Overall good experience. Just frustrated w/ being ignored by any other server but ours & ours seemingly being so busy.

Tiny "bowl" of soup, what would the cup have been?
    Susan P.

It's a cold day here in Spring and just the right weather for a bowl of chili. You would think with their name this would be the best and it was actually pretty decent, meaty with a tasty sauce but a five dollar bowl of soup ought to last more than 5 spoonfuls still it was the highlight of the meal. Thank goodness I ordered a burger to accompany, or not. The burger was unremarkable with some sort of undefined sauce on it (not in the description) and unseasoned not at all cooked meat. Even a rare burger should have brown not a gray tint and this wasn't ordered rare.

It might not have been the healthiest choice, but I wanted to enjoy the evening. lol My wife really liked the blackened flounder. The green beans were a bit more overcooked than she liked, though. The chicken fried steak was outstanding and very tender. I liked that the delicious gravy came on the side so the steak stayed crispy. The sides were also outstanding. The waiters were busy trying to accommodate everyone by moving tables around and I had strangers standing all around me waiting for their table to be set. So that wasn't enjoyable for me. I needed to wake up because friend who hadn't arrived yet and I were going to see The Monkey at the cinema up the street from Mahoney's. Order an Espresso Martini, nothing notably special, it was mixed well and finished it in what seemed like 2 sips. I was a bit hungry and ordered the Texas Egg Rolls made with chicken, black beans, corn, red bell pepper, pepper jack cheese and a side dipping sauce. They come with 6, 2 bites and done size. These reminded me of the egg rolls from Chili's. They arrived warm and if flavor was fine. I'd get them again. My friend arrives but by this time the area we were in got CROWDED. It seemed there was only one bartender handling both the patrons at the bar and groups at the tables. It took about 15 minutes after my friend arrived to place a beer order. I was trying to order it for him before he arrived but didn't have any success as the bartender stayed mostly on one side of where I was sitting and didn't look up during his time filling orders. Eventually, we are able to order a second round and closed out. Aside from the service being a bit off, and likely due to unexpected being busy, my past experiences have been enjoyable, that's why I chose to come here pre-movie going. When I called ahead they indicated the music would start at 9pm, but when arriving around 8, it was going already to my surprise. I tried the cottage pie and the fish and chips. I felt both of these were fairly average dishes, but the portion sizes are pretty large. The fries that come with the fish are really nothing special but are somewhat tasty when hot. The cheese on the cottage (shepherd's) pie is mostly white and blends into the mashed potatoes. I thought the ground beef filling was average at best. Seating In the bar / restaurant seems to be ample as there are back areas to the right of the stage along waterway avenue as well as back areas along the side street (Waterway Sq Pl). However, the back areas along the side street do not have a view of the stage. One item to note, the list of draft beers on the menu are just possible taps they could have, but ask your waiter for the current ones. The waiter was young but very helpful and came to check on the table several times.

Sigh. Asked for a kids menu and was told it's only for 12 and under. Got the evil eye from the hostess when I said my kid qualifies. Then I offered to show them her ID and they backed off with smiles even. The complementary potato chips kind of tasted like Chips Oman. At least they weren't stale and it's a nice addition while you wait. The kiddo got the kids catfish which was just a pretty small piece of fish. Fries were good. Side fruit consisted of strawberries pineapple and red grapes. No drink included. Had to chase down the staff to get some tartar sauce. I wanted a Po Boy but was told they don't offer it on the weekends. Asked about beignets and was told it's only for dessert. Sigh. Decided to get the pork ribeye fricassee. The flavor was good but boy was it salty. Almost like they dropped a whole shaker of salt on it. Good thing there was some rice to counter the effect. Otherwise it would be inedible. So after our meal we had access to the desert menu and got a half order of beignets (4 pieces). They were ok. The dough on these is pretty thick though. Not sure if that's standard but I'd prefer light and fluffy. Soft opening was just the day before. So I think they're trying to find their stride. Water girl was on it though so kudos to her. Waiter was meh. Had to go in and fetch him a few times as they don't come outside much, especially when you're the only one out there. The bar area is small but the bartenders are nice. They have a sectioned off room in the back which might be good for a larger group. Place is kinda small overall though.
