Me and my boyfriend came in 30 minutes before closing (bad us i know sorry we thought it closed at 11pm not 10pm). He came up to us with the biggest smile and warm welcome! We had a party of 8 tonight and no reservation. Hats off to Chilis. They sat us within 15min and they also had 3 other large parties there. I was amazed with the eagerness to get everyone accommodated comfortably. The server instantly took our drink and appetizer order and we had drinks in minutes. Including my Lemon Drop Margarita that was on special for $6 (highly recommend). Tonight we ordered the triple dipper and the bbq platter. We chose chipotle and hot mozzarella and the southwest egg rolls. Fire and I got an amazing cheese pull. For the BBQ platter with got the Nashville hot chicken crispers, ribs, and brisket quesadillas with all Mac & cheese for the side. The ribs were a little dry and didn't have a lot of meat on them but the quesadillas were chefs kiss. Overall, I rated this visit 4 stars because the chicken crispers are more batter than chicken and the ribs. The ambiance is relaxed and chill. They have tvs to catch games, a full bar seating/dining area, and lots of seating.But still, overall amazing... The level of service was 5 stars! read more

The food has improved somewhat since my last visit. It is still not as good as the other location in Canyon Country, but it was decent. I ordered the Triple Dipper, and my only complaint is that the Big Mouth Bites were very dry. I am used to them being super juicy and flavorful at the other location. Kevin and I love this Chili's location because of the timing we usually go around 6:30-7 PM it's almost empty, and we're always seated right away. Our order comes out quickly, usually within 10 minutes, and the service is consistently perfect, friendly, and attentive. The food is always delicious, and we usually have plenty of leftovers to take home. Every visit leaves us feeling happy, relaxed, and satisfied, making it a reliable spot for a casual night out. It is hard to know what people use as criteria for evaluating any venue, but I have to say, I think some are missing the mark on this Chili's. It is not a Michelin 5-star in Paris and needs to be compared with similar venues in the burbs, and that is how I analyzed it. We decided to give it a re-try after a hiatus of almost twenty years (mostly because at some point they dropped the onion blossom that drew me there in the first place -- not a valid reason to avoid this place, in hindsight!). It was a rainy Sunday afternoon with a gloomy overcast over all of Santa Clarita, the most recent in almost of month of rainy days, quite uncharacteristic. I wanted to go somewhere simple and quick and took the advice of some friends who had been there recently, loving the fact that we could walk to this place and didn't need a reservation. Everything was great, the minute we stepped through the door. Friendly reception, lots of places to sit and look out the giant windows (which were spotless, by the way). Very courteous guidance to our table and everything we needed to start making our choices were put in front of us. Immediately Gabe, our server, came over and offered us a beverage. He was perfect throughout the meal -- always there when we needed him, as if he read our minds, and so affable about our preferences that we felt as if we were old friends. The menu speaks for itself -- it is extensive and if you are a meat eater, you will have almost too many choices. But, what was really wonderful was the fact that there was a lot for a vegetarian, like me. Years back I had loved their black bean veggie burgers and so that is what I ordered. I also had a craving for mashed potatoes and so was able to get the loaded mashed as my side, minus the bacon. Joy! They were creamy, real potato-y, and delicious. The entire place was airy, comfortable, clean, spacious and rather well populated for the least popular time of the day and week, and in the rain, no less. There was perfect Boomer music overhead with a few more contemporary choices so no one should have been put out by the playlist. I, personally, loved it. We also got amazing attention from Promise, who brought out all our dishes and came back a few times to be sure we had everything we needed (we did). Between them, Gabe and Promise showed that the nicest and most efficient people are being hired and that the management of this particular Chili's was on the ball. As we left, the reception team all said, "Thank you" in a sincere way. The whole experience, from start to finish, was excellent. Any pointers from a picky customer like me? Well, the napkins, while abundant, are a bit thin and kept flying off my lap, LOL. The AC was on a bit high for this weird cold day (almost never cold in Santa Clarita, but, just saying...), and, for some reason, like many places in Los Angeles now, no spoons are served, what's up with that?? I had to use the spoon from my coffee (which was perfect), to ladle dips and sauces, and pack up leftovers. But, those are minor. Chili's is worth a visit, at least at this one. I've ordered to go many times, and my food is always wrapped up well. My order is done on time, and the order is correct. It's such an easy process too. They'll text you when your food is ready, and you go in the side door for to go orders and grab your food off of the rack. There's no need to talk to anyone if you're feeling introverted. Made it in after visiting the local public library located in the same plaza. I sat at the bar and it did take a little while for someone to attend me. The bar section was not packed and so I was sitting at the bar alone. Finally bartender came around d to take my order. We had not been to Chili's in a long time but with the enticing TV commercials advertising 3 for me starting at 10.99 we decided to give it a shot. We don't eat out much because of rising prices but this was a deal too good to pass up. We went early in a Friday night about 5ish because we wanted to best the crowd and the noise that comes along with it Upon entering there was a sign saying wait to be seated but we saw no employees. There was one server tending to patrons in the bar area and that was it. We thought it was weird but gave it a few minutes to see what was up. Finally a bunch of employees came out from the kitchen and someone seated us Note to Chili's - I know meetings are necessary with staff but keep one person out from to greet guests - we almost bailed We got seated and Gabriel was our server and he was amazing! My iced tea was kept full ! I hate it when I run out of my beverage when I am eating so that was much appreciated! We ordered two Okd Timer burgers which are really large - I looked it up once we got home - it's a half pound! Next time I would get a smaller burger You got a choice of appetizer - some have an up charge of a little bit. We chose salad and chips and salsa because I love their chips and salsa! Haven't been to a chilis in years but today I was near one. Upon arrival we were greeted and seated pretty instantly and the place felt very family friendly. Our waiter Charles was very attentive, easy to talk to and knew how to keep a conversation going. I ordered a triple dipper and a pick any 2 meal with half rack of ribs and jalapeño cheddar sausage. The ribs were very good and so was the sausage. The mozzarella sticks on the triple dipper had a good cheese pull and the chicken tenders were delicious as well. I was a big fan of the watermelon lemonade it was so refreshing. On top of it all they brought my nephew a scoop of ice cream and they sang him a birthday song for his birthday. Our first time at Chili's *ever*, and we also happened to be in the neighborhood. :) The food was surprisingly really good! We ordered the following: - Triple Dipper with the honey-chipotle chicken crispers, fried mozzarella, and burger bites. The chicken crispers were nice and crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The cheese pull of the fried mozzarella delivered, just like IG haha. The grilled onions inside the burger bites were also a nice touch that we noticed (compared to sliders at other places that just have the patty and bun). - Dip Trio with fresh salsa, white queso, and skillet beef queso. The beef queso tasted very hearty! My favorite was the fresh salsa--which did taste quite fresh--and his favorite dip of the night was the white queso. The chips were nice--light, thin, and crispy. - 6oz Classic Sirloin with Garlic Butter Mushrooms (50¢ extra charge as it's a premium side) and fries. This was my order, and the 6oz was a great size for me personally, especially with the appetizers and dessert also. The mushrooms were banger! The steak was perfectly medium as asked, juicy, and not tough. The garlic butter on top of the steak was also yummy. Fries were pretty tasty. - Mini Molten Cake. Holy moly, we thoroughly enjoyed this dessert. We ordered it without the caramel, and it was amazing. Hot fluffy chocolate cake paired so well with the cold vanilla ice cream, and the texture of the crispy chocolate shell was sooo nice. I liked the mini size- felt just right. The right amount of indulgence without feeling overwhelmed by sugar afterward. Service: We loved coming in and having multiple staff greet us so nicely at the door. Our server Drew was amazing! He ensured that our order came out just as we asked, and checked on us often enough that we didn't feel lacking in water or other needs. Big shoutout to him and his service today, which is what initially prompted my partner and I to leave this review. The great service was such a happy surprise! Other staff working around our area were also very friendly as well, grabbing to-go boxes and the like for us when needed, and with a friendly tone and smile! The restaurant itself was quite clean, and the bathrooms were nice and clean also. We also appreciated the ample parking on a Saturday late afternoon, as we live in LA and parking is usually always a hassle. Overall, definitely hoping that all Chili's are as nice as this one! Came here for dinner and the wait was about 15 minutes which wasn't too bad considering it was very busy. I signed up to their rewards program and was able to redeem a reward of either a complimentary soft drink or chips and salsa. We had the chips and salsa. Chips came out hot and although the chips were thin they were perfect with the smoky salsa. I ordered their new smash burger and added bacon. I requested my bacon to come out crispy. I was little bummed that it was a super thin piece of bacon and it was not crispy nor was it applewood smoked bacon as advertised for the $2 extra add on. The burger itself was amazing, thick patty, and the toppings were great. I just wish my bacon was crispy and applewood smoked. The fries came out hot and crispy. I saw an advertisement on TV while I was watching a sporting event and I was so intrigued. I went with a friend and I love this deal. It's so affordable and the food I ordered was delicious. I typically get the chips and salsa as a side and I get their iteration of a smash burger. Both are very good. Honestly, one of the best smash burgers I have had at these fast-casual restaurants. We come here and they said it'll be about thirty minutes before we get seated. Our server Justin comes right over to get our drinks while we still look over the menu. (You need to search chili's gf menu online as their menu doesn't indicate what is gluten free intolerant) I had slim pickings so I just ended up ordering a half cesar salad and half order of Texas fries. I asked for it to come out with everyone else's dinner and it did not.. also the half salad was a small bowl $7.10 for that?? I can buy a whole bag of salad for that price. The Texas fries were suppose to be cheesy.. nope came out with burnt cheese on them. I would have sent it back but it prolly would have came back the same way, so I just ate around the burnt cheese. But for $6.99 how was this less than the tiny salad I got?? All this for over $15 is definitely a rip off when my salad wasn't even a half salad it was like 5 pieces of lettuce if that and a bunch of cheese! My friends got chicken wings and said those were good, the shrimp bowl was good, but the ribs that they are known for "chilies baby back ribs... with bbq sauce" was like beef jerky. Ribs are suppose to fall apart but here they are stuck to the bone and over cooked! (not pictured) The service was decent, but when we were done our plates of food sat by us for a while as we sat at the table conversing amongst ourselves. And when he would grab a plate he would only take one at a time.. like bro stack them up and clean off our table. I went to this location for dinner yesterday because of a coworker's farewell send-off, and the service was really good. I wish that we had known our server's name because he was accommodating, attentive, and friendly. Our orders came out correctly in a timely manner, and paying for the bill was a breeze. And final food for thought (pun intended), don't be easily persuaded by the low-rated reviews. Everyone has different experiences when dining in at a popular chain establishment. Graduation night for my son and this was the only place that was open until 10. Took 9 family members there and put my name in at 9:20. Place was packed and I was told that my party might need to be split up but we would be in the same section. I said that was fine. They gave me a 40-45 min wait time which was fine and she said we'd get a text when the table was ready. Got a text saying they had my reservation then another telling me my seating time was 10:01-10:06. I replied to confirm and was sent another text confirming my reservation. At 10:01 I went to the door and it was locked. Manager came out and I was told that she was told there were no more parties and the kitchen was closed. They still had a very full house and yet I was still turned away. No graduation dinner everyone just went home since it was already so late.
