Okay first off I realize it was a little late when I walked in 8:30 on a Tuesday evening. However I sat myself at the bar being a single diner I wanted to make it easier. Well it didn't matter! I sat for 15 minutes without ever being asked a drink order or being asked if I had been helped or if I wanted a menu or anything?! Ok I used to love chilis chicken nachos. I decided to give them a try and pulled up for a quick bite at the To-go counter. Big mistake! It took 30 mins for warm, horrible nachos. I ordered online for delivery which I had done a couple times before. They called to notify me that doordash is having issues and they can't deliver. I asked for a refund which they couldn't figure out how to do. $75 down the drain. They haven't changed the food in like 15 years either. Just not good. read more

Sat at the table for a good ten minutes to be greeted. Took forever to get a water and tea. Took even longer to flag the server down to ask to take our order. I had to get up and ask the manger, standing around the front door/host stand for refills. (we were the very first table, closest to the host stand.) Food was luke warm. Not a great way to make up for lack of service by calling my fiancé "babe" and "baby", each time coming to the table. It was disturbing. Awful experience. read more

Last night for dinner I had two egg rolls from a Valero. They guy at the station said sir are you sure you want those they have been in there since noon. Love Chili's, everything i've tried is very good. Some of the best chips n salsa i've had. The service needs a little bit of work though.

The service tonight was HORRIBLE. So slow, and our food wasn't that good. Didn't have kids cups or straws. They were out of everything. They didn't tell me that they were out of street corn until I received my food and it wasn't on there. read more

I've been here multiple times. I've tried several different dishes and loved them all. The food is always good. My only complaint is service. If you're there on any night besides Friday or Saturday, you will have to wait a while for food, drinks, and refills. One Thursday evening, I commented to one of the waitresses about the slow service. She told me that on nights like that, they only had two servers available. Not a good business practice. read more

Our school's varsity girls' and boys' basketball teams were in town from AR for playoffs. We did not leave the gym until after 10 PM and Chili's closed at 11 PM. They said they would reserve us some tables and stay open for us. We arrived with about 50 people at around 10:30ish and they showed us to our tables with a smile. I'm assuming it was the manager who welcomed us and told us "their cooks were ready to cook for us." We didn't leave until close to 1 am by the time everyone got their food and ate, and they were very hospitable the whole time. I would recommend this restaurant. So happy this finally opened! Had dinner there the 1st day and was very happy to note the quality was on par with Fort Smith. My family have eaten here a few times since its opening and I agree with other posters, the servers could use more training. It's a little sad when a customer knows more about the menu, and what comes with what, than the employees. That issue aside, Poteau is so desperately in need of decent restaurants that I'll be happy to help the wait staff learn! We will definitely be eating here often and grateful to have a Chili's so close. read more

The only reason this establishment is getting one star is because I couldn't choose zero. Although I see it has good reviews on food and service, well I wouldn't know. We went to eat here and was told by the guy in the front he couldn't seat anyone for at least 13 minutes. Now there were well over 10 tables empty including the ones in the bar area. I asked why we couldn't be seated and was told it was because a bunch of people came in at one time. I think they should've still let us get a table. Just get our drinks. We would have waited on our food. All they had to do was say it will be a little bit before your food will be ready, and we would've been okay with that! Instead, we opted for Mexican. I will not darken the doors of this establishment again. read more

This has to be the worst Chili's I've been to alltime. Their service is HIGHLY on the lowside. We walked in, and were not even greeted nor seated. With that, we took it upon ourselves to seat ourselves and hopefully save them of one problem, then we requested kindly to a young teen for menus. She named off a coworker who was to bring us one, then vanished. She had little to no interest in helping us. Of all the times I've eaten here I've never seemed to have ONE good experience. The staff are rude, and the food is bitter and bland. Their drinks are disappointing and their bar is less than clean. I reccomend any other location, such as a shady backyard BBQ, rather than this specific area. To see such a highclass place run like an absolute trashcan truly is disappointing in itself. Please, fix your staff. The desperate teens needing a job are not your best choice. With all do respect... Fix your service! read more

We visited here in mid-September on the 2nd day it opened in Poteau. There is a serious dearth of restaurants here that serve fresh, healthy ingredients, so we were looking forward to this restaurant's arrival. The food did not disappoint! Fresh, crisp, and savory selections! The service, however, left a lot to be desired. It was clear that the servers who visited our table had neither been servers before nor had they eaten at equivalent restaurants to experience what customer service looks like. Let me be fair, though: new restaurant bringing much-needed jobs to an impoverished part of a poor state will have to train their employees on the meaning of customer service. It was quite chaotic while everyone in town tried out the new place, and Chili's had their corporate trainers working the floor, teaching the new staff their jobs. I've noticed that of late the parking lot is not as crammed full, so it's time to revisit and see how the service has improved. read more

Ordered to go and nothing was right when we picked it up. Checked and asked them to correct it and they were very rude about it. We go to the Chili's where we live several times a month so I was happy to see one in Poteau. The To Go staff was rude. If you do order their food make sure you check EVERYTHING before you leave the restaurant and don't expect it to be ready in the time that they give you! read more
