My son have time to come home for Mother's Day and his sister's birthday to take us out to eat and to do a little shopping. In his area was very bad so he opted on sending the money for us to dine out and shop. Supposed to go to Sullivan's steakhouse but due to the time we opted on a simple dinner from Chili's. The order was placed online for pickup at the Pine Bluff Arkansas location. Upon arrival my daughter was advised by the young man at the pickup counter that they had run out of ground beef and out of buns (this location is literally directly in front of a Walmart supercenter). My daughter then advised him that the food was for Mother's Day since we were not able to make it to our original restaurant due to time restraints. The young man conveyed my daughter sentiment to the Cook who then sent the food back out. We made a brief start at the Walmart location directly behind Chili's and before heading home we decided to inspect the food. What you see in the photo is what we received. They had taken one full hamburger bun and cut it into triangle pieces to cover half a piece of ground beef because they had also cut the slider beef patties in half cheating me out of four full sliders. To add insult to injury the chicken crispers that were supposed to be in the mail as well were extremely overcooked. The food was not edible and I was extremely angry because the restaurant was closing in about 2 minutes and we could get no one on the phone to rectify the situation until today. Over several times to that location and being placed on hold and even having the phone hung up in our faces we called the Little Rock location and spoke with the manager Josh who was more than helpful and agreed to reach out to their regional manager about the issue so that individual could contact us directly to correct the problem. This location has been an ongoing issue for years and it's really sad that customer service isn't as important as their bottom line. I don't understand that if your service sucks and your food sucks then you don't have a bottom line! It's a bad look for the company overall and it's not fair to the locations that get it right. You get a better presentation at McDonald's and that's sad in comparison. If you want crappy service and sub par food then this location will suit you just fine. read more

First Impressions are everything....hasn't this place heard that saying before? So this lunch started off while walking into the restaurant we heard people walking out saying that it was the worst they had ever had. Im like great lets just go somewhere else, well we didnt and even though our food wasnt awful, but the cleanliness and the service could have been way better. When we first walked in no one acknowledged us for about 5 minutes, finally a hostess came over looking like she just got to work still carrying her purse and sat us at a table in the bar. She made no conversation with us. My booth seat also had a tear in it. I really think that our waiter was trying his best and he was very kind but he was the only waiter in the bar area....it was not that busy.....the kitchen took an awful long time to get our food out. I guess in a small town you get what can get....I kept calling my husband and I city slickers while we were here. Once again this Chili's has got to be the biggest joke. All the beer taps are broken and the only beer in bottles is light!?? Bartenders has no vermouth so cannot make a Manhattan- most basic drink there is! Out of 8 people at the bar 4 orders were delivered wrong !? Walked in just before shift change and was told it would be a 30 minute wait - there was no one else there except a few in the bar. It's ridiculous to make customers wait while the shifts change. We decided to sit in the bar. Our bartender, who was getting off, started us with drinks and chips and politely explained the shift change. He was great! However he was replaced with a girl bartender who was very rude and not very friendly at all. She was not attentive to us but was chatting it up with the locals. Okay I am a big Chili's fan and was happy to see that my old home town had a Chili's. But I'm sad to say that from the moment I walked in the door, I realized...I am not in Houston anymore. This Chili's was as ghetto as any Chili's I've ever seen. The food was not the same. The drinks where watered down. The servers was....WHY? And the staff had no idea of the concept of service in a huge chain like Chili's. And can you believe we ordered a side of fresh Jalepanoes and the server said they didn't have none. I said this is Chili's how can you not have Jalepanoes. She said oh Chili's is named after the the bowl of chili not a pepper. Me and my friends just stared at each other in shock. I walked into Chilis and immediately felt welcomed, the host made me feel like family and was very pleasant. Eventhough, I couldn't see her mouth underneath her mask, WHICH I REALLY APPRECIATED (this shows that the Chilis is committed to our safety, her eyes sparkled with eagerness. Unfortunately, that's where the good service ended. I cannot remember her name, but the pretty lightskin with braids took at least 10 minutes to greet my table, mind you the restaurant is not even half full. Once she got to the table, she was very attentive to our order once her other tables were taken care of. On other note, the back kitchen also had us waiting for our food. Hostess hates her job and it shows. Server seemed overwhelmed but extremely courteous. Food was awesome. Hot, fresh, and extremely enjoyable. Server was great. I read all of the reviews and am happy to say I am pleased with the food and server. Two complaints, the place is absolutely in dire need of a hardcore cleaning and the hostess needs to be replaced with someone who doesn't roll their eyes when asked to do her job. No!!!!!!!!!! Do not go here!!! Horrible!!! Service on 5/20/23 at 7:00pm was awful. I would give negative starts if I could. We ordered our water, coke, sprite and tea, then our waitress disappeared. Someone finally brought our drinks after 10 minutes. Waitress comes with appetizers we didn't order yet..we were undecided and she said she would come back. Waitress gets attitude then storms off with correct order. We get the correct appetizer but still missing cheese fries and chips, finally 20 minutes later we get the fries. In the mean time the other order of chips were coming by the time we got them the cheese dips cold so waitress takes it to heat it up. There was a worker named Emma who was wonderful after we waved her down for help. She stepped up and helped us by bringing us silverware , napkins, and drink refills, then continued to apologize while our waitress appeared to hide in the back. Our waitress had a lighter hanging from her pants and smelled of cigarettes every time she walked by...she came to our table (skinny, light brown hair) maybe 3 times. We asked for the manager so Emma would go get the manager, then come back empty handed with an explanation of how much longer our food was going to take. Asked to pay for our drinks and appetizers so we could just leave so sweet Emma goes back for the manager, then comes back with another excuse. Finally get our food and it was cold so we were ready to leave. We also feared the food might be contaminated since we kept asking for the manager. Sweet Emma tries to help us pay, but we just couldn't pay for the horrible food that wasn't eatable, then finally the manager walks by so my husband stops her. At this point customers were walking in and the hostess was just turning them away. Manager explained they are short staffed and 2 cooks didn't show at 7pm so she was helping cook in the back. The manager waived our ticket and we left right at 8:30pm. We tell the manager disclosing being short staffed would be helpful for us to understand but no one said a word. She pointed at her headset and said that's what these are for, to communicate. The place needs to retrain the manager and employees or new staff completely. We are understanding people but this was ridiculous. I honestly thought I was going to have to call the police for assistance because we wanted to leave but couldn't get a ticket to pay. It was a nightmare!! Never experienced anything like this in my life!! We will read reviews before going anywhere from now on. The reviews for this place is unbelievable. Unless you join the waitlist online or on the app, you will be waiting for awhile on a table during the busiest hours. However, once seated the waitress I had was attentive, memorized our order without writing it down, and very friendly. Our food arrived correctly about 15-20 minutes later, which is normal for a wait, and it was delicious. I would recommend this Chili's because of the close location for anyone between Woodlawn and Jefferson, but definitely try joining the waitlist before you get there. read more

If I could leave 0 stars I would. The dining area is always empty but there is always at least a 30-45 minute wait, even if you join the waitlist ahead of time before arriving. I joined the waitlist and arrived at my estimated time only to find out the workers at the store had removed me from the waitlist to seat someone else. They had only 5 tables seated and half the bar top, and said there is still a long wait due to a lack of employees. They don't follow the waitlist, they seat who they like first and make others wait who have already been waiting. It's been like this every time I have tried to eat here for the past several months. I walked in as a man was walking out saying, "18 open tables and they won't seat me". The hostess was in the weeds and a bunch of tables had dirty dishes on them. She sat me, no menu, no server while the people next to me were visibly upset and asking for a manager. My table top was dirty: the restaurant was dirty. First impressions matter. If the front of the house is dirty, the food will probably sicken you. I elected not to gamble and left immediately. Go to Chef Lee's, at least you can hibachi! It's good food. read more

Ok so I've been to this Chili's a handful of times in the last two years when working in the area. Usually my coworkers and I approach it as our only option if we want a beer with dinner. None of us is ever happy about the prospect of eating a high-calorie, cookie-cutter meal with horrendous service, but the beer is good. Had I written this review a year ago, it would've looked a lot like Scott B's: inattentive, if any, service, no management control of employees, etc. However, I ate here again last night and was floored by it all. First off, we sat in the bar area, which ensures better service. Our waiter did a great job of checking up on us, and our beers and food came out promptly. Also, my food was delicious. I can honestly say that I've never had such a good meal at any Chili's. Realize that may not be saying much. In any case, last night's visit changed my opinion of this restaurant. I'd probably be back whether I enjoyed it or not, but now I'll approach it with a positive attitude. Good work, Chili's Pine Bluff! On 2/28 i arrived @740p the host looked unengaged unwelcoming and whore out. To be seated took 30 mins. A waiter acknowledgeing my party of 5 took 25 mins. Then he invited himself a sit at our table to take our drink orders. Then he talked 15mins about all his coworkers on duty not to mention he said he has anxiety realllly bad (meth head) sweating, studdering,jittery unable to focus. A totally different waiter brought the drinks 20 mins later. Then i asked a tenured employee did the cook go home. She replied probably so. Worst Chili's I've ever been to. I have visited this particular establishment twice, three years between visits. The first time we werent even seated. We were the only customers waiting for a table, and the place was not busy. After waiting 20 min to be seated in a half filled restaurant, we told the hostess we were going somewhere else. Her reply was ' ok, awsome!'... really? I gave them a nother try this evening. The place was practically empty. We were seated right away, but were never greated by a server. After waiting 10 min to place our drink order we decided that we would be better off dining elsewhere. If the place were busy i could understand. But the staff was just hanging out. Basically its a apology for the bad service, reference to speak to manager to address this directly, and finally two $10 coupons to use in the future. Now if I had seen the manager I would have said something. I never saw him/her the entire time I was in there. Training might correct the trivial attitude of the server but I doubt it. I hate to say it, I would rather see the server fired. Finally, two $10 coupons might be a meal for one with appetizer and a soda. The staff was very friendly and the waiter was attentive to our needs. The food was good, really good. Which surprised me because I've had issues with chili's in general in the past. We sat next to the kitchen so it was a little loud and not in a typical restaurant kind of way. It got so loud that I thought the staff was fighting. Just a tip to the manager. Invest in skillet sleeves. My daughter suffered second degree burns on her hand from touching the hot skillet at another chili's.
