We ordered the chip trio to start a which was pretty good however they brought its out plates with old food and oil stuck on them. So that grossed us out, because how cleanly is this place? We each had an order of Mac and cheese with our entree, his looked normal however mine looked like noodles in milk? I asked the server and she claims the liquid one was just more fresh and it would thicken up eventually and was giggling about it... ma'am they aren't even the same color?? Came to Chili's tonight and had a mixed experience. Our server was very sweet, but wasn't initially on top of things. My boyfriend and I both ordered fajitas, and when we asked about portion sizes, we were told the regular fajitas would have the same amount of meat as the "choose 3" option. When our food came out, that wasn't the case--we received what was clearly a smaller, single portion, despite explaining what we wanted beforehand. There were also a few quality issues that were hard to overlook. I found a produce tag in my guacamole, and my boyfriend found a hair in his shrimp that definitely didn't belong to either of us. On top of that, he kept being given corn tortillas, and at one point I had to walk to the kitchen myself to ask for flour tortillas, which are supposed to come with the fajitas. We had a great experience at Chilis. We typically don't dine at chain restaurants, but I was craving a triple dipper and it hit the spot. Always have to go with the big mouth bites, the mozzarella, and the honey chipotle chicken. The ranch is also one of my favorites. My margarita was also great. That was THE WORST $28 meal I have ever had. The steak tasted earthy (?) or rank. The shrimp was fair. The only way I could choke down the steak was to bury it in the mashed potatoes which were, by themselves, only fair. The help was very nice. They don't prioritize take out orders at all, and something is always cold, missing or wrong when we get our food home. I've always enjoyed coming here with my Family for burgers. My Daughter chose to celebrate her 14th Birthday with about 20 of us. I wish she hadn't . Woman manager (horrible) lacks communication skills , talks with her hands and very rude. We were told that another party would be arriving at 6:45 so pretty much we need to hurry and order. All while talking with her hands and speaking rudely. Also toddlers were present, which everyone knows they're very vocal and full of energy. My niece yelled and the Manager told her. "Please don't yell, there's other ppl in the restaurant." I had to keep my composure due to not wanting to ruin my daughter's special day. 6:45 so call party never showed. To top it off the Manager comes outside and ask "can the customers inside the window dining in see my daughter's money bouquet?" After being so rude to Our party.... Wish I could give 0 stars. I am not one to come and leave a bad review but I cannot believe the service we recieved. I would be willing to bet $100,000 that our waitress was on some kind of drugs. She was wobbling all over the restaurant and around the table, was twitching, itching herself, and was very forgetful (we sat for 15 minutes without stars for our drink after we asked twice). Hello everyone I don't recommend this place to any one. I took my wife there for our 46's anniversary. They have bad service, never ask us for a refill on our drink I had to tell them and got our drink when we were done eating 5-8 minutes later. Fajita platter was cold no flavor and seemed like the meat was boiled in water instead of cooked over skillet. Extremely dirty - everything is covered in dust, fingerprints, grime, bugs and grease. The staff puts no effort into keeping the establishment clean and healthy for dining. This is usually an indicator that they may also have roaches in the building. Very lazy and disgusting, will never go back. The owners and staff should be ashamed of themselves here. read more

Fajitas were good but not great - the best part was the black beans. The salsa that came with the fajitas, and the chip's beforehand, was basically seasoned water. The chips themselves were apparently from the bottom of a bag that had had a rough life - crumbs. An appeal to the server resulted in more water salsa and no new chips, though later tables got whole chips. We did get the server to remove the chips off the bill but they were still there when the bill came. The electronic summary doesn't show the detail - had to ask. I should start by saying I used to be a manager at a franchise Chili's 20+ years ago. Things have changed for sure, but not all of them for the better. Our server was Allie and she was fun, bubbly and took great care of us. There were 4 of us and our food took close to 45 minutes - which is not SOP for a chain restaurant. We went specifically for the 3 for $10 deal that included chicken fajitas on Saturday 8/18 for National Fajita Day (who knew there was such a thing?). I had my heart set on them. They were my favorite item on the menu when I worked there and my shift me more often than not. I don't know what was changed in the recipe, but it is not at all like it used to be. They taste fine, but not as good as they were 20+ years ago - and yes, I am still thinking about them after all these years, so that should say something. Even though our food took an extraordinarily long time to be served, Allie made sure our drinks and chips were never low and comped each couple a dessert for being so patient. We didn't even have to complain or ask for a manager. She knew it wasn't right and did what she could to make it right. We all really appreciated that. We are not typical "corporate" (read chain) restaurant patrons, but if I am going to pick between Chili's and a couple of other similar type of establishments - I'll vote for Chili's every time. The boneless wings are awful the BBQ sauce was just plotted on their. The wings are also cold when you firs get them you have to warm them up at home if you want a warm meal. Some of the chicken was just crust with no meat inside. They told me to come pick my meal up in 30 minutes and 10 minutes later told me my stuff was ready that's how you know they didnt take their time with the meal. I took my wife and daughter out to dinner for her birthday because she wanted to go to Chili's. There were several things that could normally be overlooked. Two things that couldn't be overlooked are: 1. I was half finished with my water when I noticed there were several things floating around the bottom, one of which looked like a piece of chewed up meat. To say it was disgusting would be an understatement. I pointed it out to the waitress, and her only response was, 'yes, that is gross.' 2. It smelled like sewage. We were probably 20 feet from the bathroom door, but everyone between us and the bathroom were completely disgusted, as they should've been. Please think twice before eating there. I would say I mostly go there as a means of socializing and meeting up with good friends rather than seeking a quality culinary experience. The famous chips are actually quite hit or miss. They tend to either be just fine and great, or weirdly soggy and stuck together. One time we had to get new chips just because ours were so thoroughly soggy. The food is generally okay but not something to expect great things from. I will have to say that the service is almost always fast, attentive, and friendly which makes for a pleasant experience. I like Chili's for the food, and go to this location with some frequency. However, please do be aware of how the small table top kiosk calculates tips, which I think is gimmicky at best, dishonest at worst. For a tab of $30.00, a 15% tip would be $4.50, right. For a total tab of $34.50. However, the kiosk is programmed to (1) first add the tip to the total - which would be $34.50 in the above example (2) and then it calculates the tip total as a % of the new total. In other words, the kiosk will show the above $4.50 tip as a 13% tip [$4.50 divided by $34.50 = 13%]. And if you just use the sliding scale on the kiosk to calculate the tip, just know that you are paying an actual tip (based on the food tab only) that is a higher % than that being shown on the scale. I did point this out to the shift manager, who told me that this was the first time anyone had ever pointed that out. Again, I like the restaurant and food - just not this process. read more
