The wait time for food was a bit much for me to the point that I just had it go straight into a to-go box. Chili's is a chain... so of course they have their signature look. Regardless, a chain is managed by their own managers so they should have some standard of cleanliness and organization. Yelp! We at Chili's, a party of five. We have Charlotte, such a delight, even though she had constant menu beef with 2 picky people at our table. Lol. Love some Charlotte. For starters we got bottomless chips and salsa. Very good Chili's! Dee-Ty-Jou got pick 3 for me, 1 with garden salad and pasta, one with old timer burger, corn and salad. Last one with, loaded potato soup, Honey chipotle tenders and fries. Mommy ate chips and salsa. I got the triple dippers with tenders, southwestern egg rolls and slider bites. Everything was good. This establishment wasn't the best considering the tables weren't all that clean, the restaurant smelt weird, and the waiters weren't attentive and our food took a while to arrive despite the low amount of customers. We ordered two fajita trios, the waitress misunderstood and only brought out one alongside the rest of our food. We said "we ordered two of these" and she responded with "no you didn't, i'm not going to sit here and argue with you" and walked away. We found a manager and he simply asked if we wanted another one to which we responded no. The waitress never came back and the manager had to bring us our bill. He apologized and took the other fajita trio off since we didn't touch it. I'm not sure how a simple misunderstanding escalated so quickly but we were very taken aback. Other issues included: steak being overcooked, broccoli being the texture of mashed potatoes, and the guacamole being too spicy. Those last two are personal preferences but only made the experience worse. This is the 2nd time we have tried to eat a Chilis lately and not been able to. Getting seated is an issue. Who has ever been told they can't sit at the bar? We have! There was a waiting list supposedly but many tables open even 6 spots open at the bar. Two white guys came in and ask to sit at the bar and were told they would have to wait and we're finally seat in a booth on the bar area. Not 15 seconds later a black couple comes in and are allowed to walk right up to the bar and sit where they wanted. When I asked about it I was told "The wait list is no longer in effect" REALLY-15 seconds later??? Racist much? Do better Chilis. We were treated much the same on the time before when we tried to eat there. We never got service. All the black customers were served. This used to be a great place to eat but once they changed mangers it has gone down hill!!! One server was nice: the bartender. Also, while waiting for our seat I asked if I could have something to drink. I was have a low sugar issue. Went to chili's while we were on vacation. They seated us the hostess was friendly. We sat there for 5 minutes and our waitress did not come and get our drink order. I had to get up and ask the hostess to get our waitress. Which she did and thank you for that. But the waitress still did not show up. So we left and went to another restaurant and got served immediately. Too bad for the waitress, we are big tippers so not only did the restaurant miss out on our business. We almost didn't go here, as the reviews were pretty bad. But decided to give it a try. Everyone was polite and very attentive. Our waitress was so nice and checked on us frequently. Drinks and appetizers delivered quickly. Food was what you expect from a chilis, one of the reasons we chose to give it a try. We had the Old Timer and the Margarita Grilled chicken. We had the worst experience I've ever had at a restaurant. All of the tables were dirty and it took a few minutes to even be greeted. The server was rude and super disrespectful. The food was fine but the server made me so mad that I couldn't even eat and wanted to just leave. He made fun of my friend when she tried to give her drink order because she stuttered and he said she was stuck up and rude for no reason and wouldn't leave us alone while we ate. He then told me that my boyfriend probably cheated on me and that we both must have had problems in our childhood. He didn't take the quac off her salad after she asked so nicely and forgot our ranch. He never brought us refills and it was just such a bad experience all around. I don't normally do this but in this case, I feel it is necessary. this afternoon, my husband, my son and myself went to chilis. we arrived around 4:40 pm. it took around 35 minutes to get our drinks. our appetizer was cold. after we had sat there for quite sometime, we still had not gotten our entrees. people who had gotten there over 39 mins after us were getting their food, or had eaten and were getting ready to leave. my 18 month old son was getting cranky, so I went to find someone to speak to. finally, a manager (who was extremely nice I will say) came over and explained to us that our server never put our order in but that they just did and it would be another 20 minute wait. at this point, we had been there for over an hour and 20 mins. we ordered the ancho salmon, a kids chicken tender meal and my husband got a appetizer trio. what in the world? we still had to pay for our COLD appetizer and the two drinks. our server had passed us at least 15 times without checking on us or saying a word. 0/10 recommend. will not be coming back for a while. read more

Horrible! We had to wait to be seated. The person who came to seat us was rude. When we told her there were going to be 4 adults and 2 children we had to wait for her to go to the back and get menus. Then, as she seated us she asked if we needed high chairs or anything. I said we needed a high chair and a booster seat. This person left and never came back with either child seat. My husband was served tea in a broken glass that kept leaking. It was at the bottom and we understand that mistakes happen so he just asked for a different glass. The waitress took the glass back and brought out a new one. We ordered our food and our child's meal came out, then about 5 minutes later 2 of the adult meals came out. Finally, after we had almost given up, about 8 minutes later, our other two adult meals came out. I ate about half of my meal with no drink because the waitress never came back. My husband finally got her attention and got us refills. He overheard her telling her manager that he was being an ass. He was never rude to her at all. I guess asking for what you need in a restaurant is now considered being an ass. When our son saw the waitress come to bring our refills, he waited until she left the room and said "she was outside talking on her phone when he carried our grandson to the restroom. That's why we couldn't get refills. There were only about 3 sets of customers on our side of the restaurant. After working in food service, we always tip 20 percent or more, but this service was so bad I only tipped 10 percent. If my husband had told me about her saying what she did about him before we left, she wouldn't have gotten anything. I went there with my boyfriend and let's just say, we won't be going back. Our order was taken and drinks were brought out. My boyfriend's tea was nasty so he requested a Coke instead which was brought out in a cup that wasn't properly cleaned. We were checked on only once by a manager I guess was her position, I honestly don't know but when she got the request from my boyfriend for a Coke, you could tell she was irritated (I hope they didn't spit in his cup). We NEVER got checked on by our server, so there were NO drink refills or asking if we needed or wanted anything else. When it came time to pay there was a mix up on my behalf but my boyfriend called the manager over anyway, this time a guy, so I could tap on my hard overcooked ribs to show him the problem, he rolled his eyes and said, "I'll take the ribs off I guess." Proper attitudes and proper service starts from the head so if the managers have poor attitudes and mentalities, you can't truly expect the rest of the staff to do or be any better.
