Parking lot was full at 530pm. We were greeted at the host stand and told we were not able to sit in the bar area despite it being only half full saying they "rotate" bar tables. So I guess we were one table out of that rotation - a truly ridiculous eye roll moment. Fine, we relented and were sat in a huge booth with bright lights shining directly down on you like you were being spotlighted on a stage. The waitress had no idea what beers they offered. She came once bringing drinks in a chipped plastic beer mug and we never saw her again until she collected the money for the bill. The food was typical chain food. Bland pico, beyond salty chopped mushrooms, cheap rubbery chicken, overcooked and over seasoned broccoli with burnt ends. Bleck. Just say no to chains. read more

Came here while in town for a quick dinner with my mom. We had the southwest egg rolls, Nashville hot mozz logs and honey chipotle crispers. Everybody loves a triple dipper, right! The food was hot & fresh!! Our server was amazing! We sat near the bar area and it was pretty busy for a Monday. Our server did a really good job navigating it all. The ambiance is laid back and there are TV to watch your fav teams play! read more

The staff are nice enough, but there's no urgency to complete orders. The restaurant is clean. The food is not good. It's basically microwaved frozen meals. Everything from the Mac and cheese to the pasta, to the mozzarella sticks and southwest egg rolls all tasted like it was reheated leftovers. The Nashville hot chicken sandwich is hit or miss-the first time we had it, it was great, but the second time it was way overbreaded, way over seasoned, and really dry. The mini burgers were charred to hockey pucks. I had 2 hungry teenagers with me, neither of them ate more than half of their food, and didn't want the leftovers. Expensive for what you get, and what you get isn't good at all. We won't be going back anytime soon. Sorry Chili's. read more

We had terrific service. Ashley came to the table just enough to ensure we had what we wanted. The restaurant was packed so I figured we would have a great time and we did. The bathrooms were deplorable. read more

Not sure why everyone is complaining about time and quality. It took ~10 minutes from sitting down to eating at 7 at night. Margaritas were great and it tasted like Chili's food. Chili's obviously isn't the best steakhouse in town, but the food is good and quick. What's not to love? read more

The GM Sean needs a lesson on how to run a kitchen without letting employees bully and yell at other employees. You can hear them yelling all the way out in the dinning room. You go to Sean to report someone working beside you and asking you if you can read in a smart butt way, and yelling at you and you dont get help. Personally if you dont take care of your employees when they have a problem with another employee, you should in no way be a GM! This needs to be addressed with Sean Immediately. Chili's already has a very reputation in Lynchburg for their raw and rare food being sent back, with the GM being this way its going to lose even more business. This is also being reported to HR. This is not the only person this has happened to. Also the health department would love to know of unpasturised Eggs bought from home being put in their cooler and cooked in their kitchen. Open containers and non dated left over food in the cooler. HR will be informed of ALL this! Now, does a person being fired , no fault of their own sound fair to you? Would you work with someone yelling at you and your GM do nothing about it. Rush or not you stop and take care of your employees when they are crying and come to you! read more

Terrible food. Absolutely garbage. I don't know who made this but they should know, I wouldn't feed this to my dog. The chicken tasted like the freezer and the presentation was terrible. Also, what is with the one spoonful of sour cream? I mean come on! The ONLY saving grace was the waitress who said, "yeah that station has been messing up all night." Lot of people looking for a job right now. Y'all sure you hired the right people? read more

BAcon cheeseburger / smash burger were both awesome . WE got the 3/$10.99 deal even though the bacon cheeseburger was $14.99 deal but still a great value !! We got chips and salsa as one of our appetizers and those chips -- absolutely fabulous ! Service - Excellent - A little loud in the restaurant however there were a lot of of people in there so understandable - if you are wanting a really good meal - you need to check them out. read more

The food at this Chilis was exceptional! We've eaten at Chilis a lot in other cities, but this location so good. All of our food was delicious! read more

My goodness I love Chili's! It had been YEARS since I ate a Chili's restaurant. I remember always loving the chips and queso, but hating everything else. I recently watched a documentary on Chili's growth and adjustments over the past year, so my husband and I checked it out! We went to the Ward Rd location and loved the familial atmosphere the restaurant had. The service was top notch, food was ordered and served in beautiful timing! When you first look at the menu, it might feel a bit pricy. Turn the menu all the way to the back and order the 3 for $10.99! We ordered a drink (many MANY options), starter, and an entree all for $10.99! The food was cooked so well! There was not one thing that tasted off or bad! I truly loved this experience and would recommend it to anyone! read more

My wife and I went here last night just after 10 pm. When you enter, you are in the middle of the restaurant. To the left, there was one long table with about 20 people. The rest of that side was closed. To the right is a partial wall and the bar with a few tables and booths. That side was open. When we entered, the hostess was sitting at a table directly to the rear of the restaurant. She saw us, got up, and came to seat us. I asked if we could have a booth. She looked around, sighed, and said, "Is a table ok?" I replied."Do we have a choice?" Both of those statements are verbatim. At this point, she seemed confused and frustrated. She looked around (I'm still not sure at what) and said something to the effect of they only had one server so no booths are available. I said a table would be fine then. As we turned right, facing the bar area, just on the other side of the wall were four booths. the bar was past them facing us along the end of the building. Between the booths and bar were a few tables. Two of the four booths were occupied. The other two were piled with dirty dishes from previous guests. I do not think anyone was in the center tables. To the right, along the front of the restaurant, were three (or four) tables, one was occupied but left as we got there. So, to recap, there were 2 booths and a table occupied. The other two booths were not yet cleaned, and all the other tables were empty. Let's be fair and say there was another table with people that I didn't notice, so of the entire empty space, 2 booths and 2 tables had people. We were seated in the front corner at a small table (see photo). We sat with our backs to the wall, so the front of the building was to our left, bar was to our right, and we we looking towards the middle of the restaurant and that table of 20 people on the other side. We quickly decided what to order and waited to be acknowledged. And waited. And waited. The waitress went to one of the booths and took away some dirty dishes. We waited some more. Then, a family of 4 came in and sat at the table by us. Because of how we were seated, we were looking at their table. Within a few seconds (yes, seconds), the waitress took their drink order and went to get their drinks. We never got acknowledged. My wife and I looked at each other and left. Absolutely pathetic all the way around. read more

I know this may sound a little biased, but I have always loved Chili's. Was craving for some burgers so, I got the traditional burger and my partner got the black bean burger with Santa Fe sauce which was spicy according to him. The food is good as usual. Amazing on Valentine's Day like service food and much more. Our server was in puont. Our food was hot and juicy.

Service was okay. Food was not good. My husband and I use to go to Chilis all the time, but the food has definitely declined in quality and taste. We are not picky eaters but were both disappointed and didn't feel like the food was worth the price. We could have gotten a better meal for the same price or cheaper somewhere else. read more

This Chili's was super close to my hotel so I walked over for a drink and was not disappointed. I had the straw-eddy Rita and it was very good. My husband had the henny Rita and liked it! It has inspired me to make watermelon henny ritas at home. I ordered the triple dipper with fried mozzarella, sliders and chicken tenders. The fried mozzarella was a 10/10. Sliders were fine but the tenders tasted slightly undercooked-the sauce was good though. Service was pretty good. The bartender was friendly and the food came out pretty quickly. Seems like a good location! read more

When I arrived I was informed they do not reserve tables. And what appeared to be high school kids running the place. Sketchy but, typical!

Sadly I won't be EATing at chili's anymore.. strictly the bar for me. I had an appetizer only! & before I could even pay... I started getting heart burn. Concerned, so I went to the restroom and YUP threw up my entire sampler! I couldn't believe it bc it didn't taste bad, or maybe I was just really hungry. idk. I returned to my table, told my server, whose response was "i don't eat here bc I see how the food is prepped" she then got her manager Anthony whose demeanor clearly implied I was just saying this for a 'free appetizer' or something. He refused to accommodate and didn't bring the "meds" he condescendingly offered me. Horrible hospitality on his part. my server was great. attentive and quick. She had a better attitude than her manager. Give her a raise. read more

I was working in the area and ended up at this Chili's next to my hotel. Arrived around 8 pm for dinner. Decided to order the salmon with rice and broccoli. The service was good and quick. I was seated immediately and served quickly. The salmon was flakey, rice was good and broccoli tasty. Also ordered flavored tea and chips and salsa. The salmon was covered with a nice spicy sauce. read more

Alright So, I mean it's a chilis did you expect 5 stars? Let's go into this with perspective people. The only good thing is those crispy appetizers Everything else we ordered was cold and bland. Service was good. For the all you can eat chips and salsa I might come by and study or read a book here, but there are plenty of places where you get chips or rolls for free so... That being said, for around a place of the same price range and large options, I'd rather go to Texas Roadhouse. Never had cold food there and always leave satisfied. read more

Please be careful pulling out of this Chilis. (The food was really good and we had a great time), I have to give a one star review for this location specifically because they desperately need to trim back the bushes pulling out onto wards road. You seriously can't see anything at all. An accident waiting to happen. This should be a relatively urgent matter due as well - being directly across the airport and hotels - a lot of out of town guests who don't know the road. Please Lynchburg Chili! read more

Just went here today expecting a great meal to cure my hunger. Instead what I got was sum shit. Service shit, food shit, restaurant shit, everything everything terrible just terrible. I'm not even kidding when I say this is the best experience I've ever had in a restaurant! And I've eaten at a lot! This was the Chili's in Lynchburg, Virginia. I cannot tell you how pleasant it was to dine alone and have such fine service from Wanda! She literally was meeting my every need before I ever even asked. I literally just thought it, and a refill showed up. I just thought how nice it would be to have a box for my leftovers, and here it comes. The thought flitted through my mind how great it would be to take some chips and salsa home and she literally walked out of the kitchen with an extra bag and a to go of Diet Coke that I hadn't even asked for, but I had thought of. She was stellar and I gave her a 200% tip! I've already texted all of my friends in town and told them this is where we're eating next time we go out, and I'm bringing my sons back next week for dinner one night. I'm going to ask for Wanda! Aside from the stellar service, the food was incredible! I don't think I've ever seen a burger this big! It was so much food, I took half of it home and will eat it for supper. And if you consider it two meals, it's literally cheaper than fast food. Wow! What a fantastic experience, and I WILL be back! read more

I always thought that Chili's was a bad place, but it has gone up tremendously. I loved my burger and my fries and the free chips. Over priced. Mediocre food. Server was good but won't bother again. Cocktail had little or no alcohol...and no prices for drinks on menu. Not a fan of chain restaurants but friends wanted to go there. Much better places in town. read more

This restaurant doesn't honor its business hours. When I got there after a 3 hour drive they turned me away. They were closing at 8 instead of their posted time of 11. No reason given. If they won't honor their own business hours, what other things are they not following (like health codes)? They deserve 0 stars. Go somewhere else. read more

Ate here this weekend. Despite having outstanding burgers and fries, I decided to expand my horizons and eat a little healthier this time. Ordered the Grilled Chicken Salad ($12.00) - which was HORRIBLE. Just a plate of iceberg lettuce with a several slices of extremely cheap chicken that tasted like it was pre-cooked, frozen, and then re-heated. I also added avocado which was a $1 up-charge and was disappointed to see it was simply two thin slices with one being half the size of the other. Also, the restaurant demands that you need a mask to be seated, so they're obviously taking Covid precautions, yet they seem to throw that out the window when they make you pay for your meal using an electronic paying machine at the table - something that EVERYBODY touches and handles including the children since Chili's has also loaded numerous games on it. Not going back to this place. Ever. read more

Very good experience here! I came here on a date and the food was delicious and looked gourmet! Our waiter was the best and I left a good tip! During this pandemic I admire and appreciate good wait staff. Had some of the best tasting cheesecake for desert here as well! One thing I do recommend is to call ahead and check wait time to be seated. Took us a little while but that isn't Chili's fault because lots of people seem to love it here. Check it out! read more

It's to long here, I've been waiting for my food for an hour now and they haven't even refilled on my drinks. Were all waiting for my food to show up but the waitresses haven't even brought it out yet, now I work hard all day and I feel that I didn't get good service here read more

This is my second time visiting here for lunch. I don't have anything negative to say about Chili's. I've ordered the Cajun pasta twice since coming here. If I could probably add that it needs a little more chicken for all of that pasta. Other than that it is bursting with flavor. The southwestern egg rolls are also a good choice. My waitress was efficient and tended to everything I needed. This may be my go to place when I come down for business once a month. read more

got the ribs. felt what it means to be literally shafted. that sucked. staff was kinda garb. fries were okay.

One of the most, nay, THE most delicious and sublime Chili's I have ever stumbled across. The chips and salsa found a powerful balance between crunchiness, moisture, and spice. I never thought I could find so much positive energy in a single tortilla chip. I actually consumed so many chips and salsa that I forgot to eat my main course. Nonetheless, the faces of my friends glowed with satisfaction after finishing their state-of-the-art Chili's cheeseburgers. Our waitress, Arden, was accommodating and personable throughout the entire dinner experience. One couldn't ask for more out of their local Chili's. We not only left with full stomachs, but with full hearts. 5/5 would recommend. read more
