Chili's is definitely hit or miss, and it really depends on who's working that day. I've had a few really good experiences though, especially sitting at the bar. The food usually comes out pretty fast, the staff has been friendly, and I've even had a manager stop by a couple of times just to check in without us asking, which is always nice. Wait times are usually short -- around 5-10 minutes -- and the deals are actually pretty good for a quick, casual meal. I was overcharged approx $10.00 at the Sheridan Street in Hollywood location. During checkout on the "little screen machine" I only saw a TOTAL and not a full description. EASY Order 1 big Bud Light 1 big Ultra 2 of the "3 for ME" Big Smash Burgers $ 12.99 each We were charged for 1- ONE 3 for me at 12.99 and 1-Big Smash Burger for $ 15.79 and there was also a charge for CHIP & DIPS for an additional $ 7.29 (but we never ordered it and never got served it) I noticed this issue when I got the emailed receipt The bartender/Waitress was very nice - but had a full bar and looked like she had NO back up - the group across from us had issues about their bill (for some reason - they got a "paper check" and I was just shown the machine with the "Total" on it . I stopped here for lunch and enjoyed my visit. I ordered the 3 for me. I chose chips and salsa, a QP burger with fries and a Coke. My meal was very good. I liked this burger and it is much better than the legacy one at that fast food restaurant. The fries were good but I remember them being better in the past. For $23 including the tip, I can see why Chili's advertises itself as being much higher quality compared to fast food yet about the same price. Bone in wings, chicken crispers and mozzarella. Side of ranch for the dipping sauce. They must of dropped the top of honey chipotle inside of the box. The whole bottom was saturated. Personally haven't been to Chili's in years. With the "Wicked" movie, social media was raving about the Chili's margarita of the month - "Witches Brew" and "The Good Witch" so you know I had to try it! And man, was it worth it. I honestly don't know which one is my favorite. The Witches brew is more on the tart side because of the Granny Smith Apple and The Good Witch is more on the sweeter side because of the Monin dragonfruit. And you will definitely defy gravity after drinking these margaritas! I forgot Chili's best feature is that they KNOW how to make a GREAT and STRONG margarita. And you can't say you've been to Chili's without ordering their "Triple Dipper" appetizer. We chose the Mozzarella sticks, sliders, and egg rolls. On a separate visit we substituted the egg rolls for the buffalo boneless wings and it was a hit. OMG THE CHEESE PULL IS REAL!!!! These were the best mozzarella sticks I've had in a while. They don't play! Lastly, we always prefer to sit at the bar. And our bartender (didn't catch his name) but you can tell he knows the ins and outs of his job. I haven't had such a good Chili's experience in a long, long time. I went with my son and my boyfriend Charles, and everything was perfect from the moment we sat down. Our server was amazing -- super friendly, constantly checking on us, and making sure our waters stayed full. My boyfriend ordered his burger well-done, and when it came out not fully cooked, Charles made sure to let them know. The kitchen didn't just re-cook it -- they actually started over completely with fresh bread and everything. That really impressed me! This Chili's location is on Sheridan Street and very close to the hard rock hotel where myself and some friends visited this past week. There was a hostess that sat us wherever we liked and we chose the bar because we were considering a few of the margaritas of the month. The server was a nice, tall, young lady. She came to greet us after a few minutes, but I can only imagine this took long because the bar was quite packed. It was around the 5 o'clock timeframe when others were getting off of work. The first round of watermelon spritz's we ordered was fantastic. We ordered a couple appetizers and decided to order a few more drinks shortly thereafter. The happy hour two for one special on the margaritas did not taste as good. The sour mix tasted old and not very fresh. I then ordered a Patron Presidente Margarita, and that also was lacking in terms of alcohol content and fresh flavors. The food was fantastic and I ordered a Smashburger that came with thousand island dressing and was nicely cooked. The chips and salsa rocked and it is always a great staple here. When we got there there was no wait and we were offered to sit at the bar area booth and we agreed. At the beginning the service was great, bartender took our drink and food order. Then it went downhill from there. Our drink was pretty good the first round , but the second round we had to almost beg for it. We ended stopping anyone we could see to put the order in. We first ordered a fajita trio and the cheese fries. The fries came pretty quick and they were good. The fajitas took forever almost as they had forgotten them until we stop a server and asked. They eventually arrived and were sizzling good. We also order the white cheese Mac n cheese which was clearly not the white cheddar so we sent it back. Our experience on Saturday (08/09) at 1:00 was just bad. We're middle aged locals and not high maintenance. Place was dead; maybe 10 other tables? After sitting for nearly 30 minutes our order for sliders and nachos were MIA? This is not complicated food... I'm waiting 10/15 min everyone is done eating by now. I tell the waiter and she's says she forgot. 2 minutes later, i get my food, then I see there's hair in my food......I alert the waiter and she states "I see it" I have to wait another 10 minutes for my food which I just took to go. Then they still put it on my bill, and I talked to the manager and stated that I shouldn't have to pay for it, and he gave me a discount from $18 to $12. Very disappointed with this Chilis. While all the servers we have had are amazing, tonight Malik served us and after finding out he was new we were even more shocked by the excellent service we received from him! OK, the chilies on Sheridan is probably one of the best chilies that I know. I'm very attentive. Make sure that you're good. The waitresses and the hostess are usually very very nice. I don't remember exactly what burgers we had, but they were amazing. The fries were fantastic and, honestly, the corn chips were a little too filling to add to everything else, and we had to leave some of them behind. The only area where I would really like to see improvement, is on their menu. I had to ask the waiter what the vegan pattie was made out of. Update: On another occasion, I enjoyed the new $5 Marg of the month which was a Cosmo-Rita. It was good, but not as flavorful as I would've liked. Service was great and I might add a tip, the service you receive may have to do with what time of day you go. We went after 4pm on a Wednesday. I have gone at night on a weekend and the service has been not so good. The 2 for $25 is one of our favorite deals. We were debating which Chili's to visit since there are three located near us. This one won because of the 1/2 star higher review. We had a gift card for a while and decided to finally use it. It was the end of March and I also wanted to try the Jameson margarita. As usual, we sat at the bar. If you are going to sit at a bar at any restaurant, Chili's is probably the one you aim for because I think maybe I walked in to a location a handful of times where the hostess was actually at the door. This was my first time dining inside. I ordered take out years ago and it was a good experience. We used to frequent the location in Coral Springs but have recently moved closer to this location. Our favorite bartender in Coral Springs was not there the last couple times so we stopped visiting anyway. I'm sure all their food is full of chemicals and preservatives but it's consistent lol. This bartender greeted us as soon as we sat and asked our drink order. You could tell she was swamped and was trying to get the bar in order. She delivered our drinks quickly and came back shortly to take our food order. This was the first time I have been to a Chili's where the bartender was professional and not goofing around. She was also very attentive. I wish I kept the receipt to catch her name. She was about 5'5", dark very short hair, maybe early 30's. The restaurant was dirty but I have not seen a clean location yet. Chili's gets crazy during their rushes and it's impossible to keep the place clean.
