We went to Chili's tonight for the first time in over a year and we were very surprised by the excellent food. We have been there before but although the food was good then it wasn't enough for me to talk about it. Tonight was an exception. We did the 2 for $20 deal they have had going for a while mainly because someone gave us a gift card for Chili's late last year. I had the Cajun Chicken Pasta and my husband had the Baby Back Ribs. The pasta was cooked perfectly and the chicken was tender and delicious. The ribs were great and didn't taste like they had been boiled. My husband is very picky about ribs and there wasn't a scrap of meat left on the bones! The garlic bread that came with the Cajun chicken pasta was so good I had to order more. I have left overs for work tomorrow, yeah! I like the little computers they have on the table where you can see pictures of some of the menu items and desserts and it even allows you to pay for the meal right there at the table. The service was fantastic by Mike and Sarah and when we go back I hope they are still there because I will ask for them again. All in all a fantastic meal and I am one happy camper! read more

Chilis has made huge improvements. I never used to be a fan, but they have officially won me over. Delicious food, courteous and fast service, generous portions, and comfortable atmosphere. My mom, her best friend, and I went a few weeks ago for lunch. We ordered an app to share (the pretzels) and ohhhhhh my goodness. My Mom's lunch special came with bottomless chips and salsa (and I highly recommend getting a side of ranch with them, too; they even mention doing so on the menu). Needless to say, by the time we noshed on apps, our meals came and we were full. No refills on chips and didn't finish the pretzels but we were all ready to be rolled home! I ordered a straight up indulgence meal of a buffalo chicken sandwich and a side of their Mac and cheese. It was worth every horrendous calorie. Problem was, I made two meals out of my entree. Wait, is that a problem?! Ate my Mac and cheese and that was all she wrote. My only tiny complaint was that there was a cold pocket in my Mac. It wasn't big and I understand it's a type of side that will be likely premade. But it was one of the last bites so I didn't mention it. I didn't even touch my sandwich until dinner time...which was late because we were full for so long. Let me tell you though--one of the best buffalo chicken sandwiches I've ever had, and I'm a buffalo junkie. The waitress was prompt and we never asked for a refill. That's one thing that can guarantee a nice tip. She even offered to-go cups for our drinks and saw wed were never going to finish our meals and brought us plenty of to-go boxes. She had 3 other tables at this time, but she was totally on top of her game. We were greeted upon entered and thanked for coming upon leaving. Chilis has certainly stepped up their game. read more

I'll start off by saying as a business owner I hate leaving negative reviews but sadly this one is well deserved. It was Monday afternoon about 3pm and the place was not busy at all. It started with a 3 minute wait for the hostess to see our party of 4 and to seat us and then she was going to seat us in the bar even though we have a 4 year old! The waiter was quick to ask what we wanted to drink and then took forever to bring them and was pushy when it came to taking our order. I asked the manager if I could change my order to something smaller from the ribeye to fajitas and he told me they had already started on it (this was a minute later) I told him never mind and I would just keep it the same in effort to not waste it. Well the steak came out burnt on one side and still cold and slimy in the middle (it was suppose to be medium) my step son ordered the salmon and it was also burnt on one side enough where he couldn't even cut through it. The manager was pissy about replacing both but did and the sad thing is when the second dish of fish came out it was almost the exact same way. Drinks were slow to refilled and it took forever to get the check oh and they require you to pay using the ziosk table side tablet which I don't feel comfortable with being it is wireless but it is nice to be able to leave a feedback directly table side on your experience which of course I did. I have dined here many of times over the last 15 years and the last 5 years it has slowly gotten worse. I will not be visiting again and doubtful if I visit any of this chain again. Normally we really enjoy eating at this Chili's restaurant. However, last evening my husband and I got a booth right inside the bar area. I enjoy eating in the bar area due to all of the TV's . Unfortunately, we had the first booth, right next to the check-in. The employees (at least three at a time) stood there hanging their arms on the back of our seat. I felt like we had zero privacy. I almost asked them if they just wanted to sit down and join us. It was extremely uncomfortable. Not once did they look at us or even notice how they were hanging over our back. The service was so bad we walked out. It's bad enough we have to wait 40 minutes to put in an order, but to be treated like a hassle when we have to ask for our waiter is ridiculous. Won't be going back any time soon. read more

Went there on Saturday 2/18/17 and the service from our waitress was AWESOME but when we got our food our Ribs were barely warm and the steak that was ordered Medium well was actually Medium rare and also barely warm. Would give them another try if in town but not the best meal I have had there by far. read more

I have never had a bad experience at chilis. The food is always prompt, hot, delicious, and just the way we ordered it. The service is always good as well. The food options are great. read more

Was not happy with service, they were very slow. The last two times we've been here, it's been the same thing. We probably won't return.

My wife and I came in on Saturday night 1/18/14. Not very crowded, several booths and tables open. The hostess offered us a hitop in the bar -saying they had no clean tables. We declined the hitop and the hostess immediately took us to a booth very near the door. We froze whenever the door was opened-(often). Drinks were ok, time to order. I ordered the steak cheese sandwich, only to be told that they ran out of rolls. THe waitress added that they were deleting this from the menu anyway. Odd, I thought they should take it off the menu if they were not going to have it offered. I asked for a few minutes as I had no idea what to order. Ordered a Quesadilla salad. Wife ordered a bacon chicken sandwich on a pretzel roll. Food came. My salad came with sliced chicken on a bed of salad with cheese quesadillas sliced at the corners. The chicken was flavorless. The quesadillas were ice cold. The salad was fresh sometime last fall. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. My wife's sandwich was supposed to be garnished with avacodo slices. She searched and found two small clumps. The pretzel roll was so burned, she couldn't eat it. She removed the roll and ate the chicken and sweet potato fries by themselves. She said that aside from the roll, her dinner was ok. I ate maybe 10 bites of my salad. Service was mediocre Drinks just ok (expensive) FOOD WAS TERRIBLE NEver going back! Now I Know why it was not very busy on Saturday night at 7PM...... Warning! Go somewhere else. I'm just glad we didn't get food poisoning. read more

The food is fine here but the staff isnt very good. I remember once getting a really mean waitress who just refused to acknowledge me and only talking to my friend asking her what she wanted to eat and when she needed a refill. I never seen her before in my life so Im not sure what her problem was with me (couldve been skin color but I wasnt in her mind so I cant say either way) because I was very polite. My meal came with a big piece of corn on the cob which I knew I would not eat. I requested a piece of bread instead of the corn and they told me, "No but I could pay another 50 cents for a piece of bread. Really? That corn cost ALOT more than that piece of bread. Terrible. Ate here last night. Waited 50 minutes for food after ordering. Manager apologized for wait and offered to make it right and then never returned to make it right. Heard the staff apologizing to other tables around us for the wait and wrong orders. Food was warm to cold. Didn't want to wait another 50 minutes to return the food. Do not go here read more

Love the food, the staff are always nice, attentive and deserving of a great tip whether carry-out or dining-in. The only negative I have to say is the prices need to be reduced a little. It's hard to take a family of 4 to eat there often because it can be well over $65.00+tip. Other than the pricing, Chili's is great! read more

I really enjoyed going to chili's, which was quite often for lunch, until I ran into a General Manager Chris that totally ruined my meal. I was told by a manager, that If I needed sour cream for my soup (the new Southwestern chicken) they would accommodate me. the soup is delicious other than a bit too hot for my taste. The sour cream helps cool the soup heat down. All I need is a table spoon. The last visit I ordered the soup and asked for Sour cream and the waiter went to the general manager and stated I asked for the sour cream. Just after I got my meal the GM came over and ask if he could join me at the table. I said no problem...figuring he was going to ask how my meal was, but instead stated I would no longer be getting sour cream for the soup unless I paid for it. because it cost them too much. he went on to debate me about the rules even though I frequent the place. By the time he got done with his talk, my food was cold, and my mood was bad. I stated to him he was rude sitting down at my table while I was trying to enjoy my meal and he could have waited to do so until I was finished. He stated I was the one that told him I could join him, I said yes I did, but not knowing that he was going to sit there telling me I was no longer going to be accommodated with a dollop of sour cream. and to have a complete attitude with me. My take on the whole thing is when serving a item that is a bit spicy why not put a spoonful on the soup unless someone request no sour cream.. Really you chose to lose a frequent customer because you cannot give a table spoon of sour cream on top of soup? The Manager needs to be retrained on how to treat customers. He needs to leave his bad attitude in the kitchen or not bring it to work. There is a proper way to treat people even if its stating something they do not wish to hear. So beware if you go to Fairview Heights IL chili's if General Manager Chris is working...he will spoil your visit. Its sad when someone in small stature cops the little man syndrome and tries to play big man because he isn't one. YES GM Chris THAT IS YOU!
