Chili's has been going down hill for a long time. The Eagle Pass location is no exception. Clueless staff. Hire them young and dumb and pay them nothing. Seems to be the credo of Corp. Chili's. Food was mediocre, typical Chili's fair. Try to avoid if possible. Let Chili's fade away. read more

Came here three times because I love Chili's and I'm a sucker for them, but I think after that I'm finally done. First of all, the service blows. And I don't mean by a little bit. I mean "screw everything up". Let me list what has occurred MORE THAN ONCE (meaning not isolated to a single visit) during visits: 1. Unbelievably slow service. Sometimes waiting in excess of 10-15 minutes to place a drink order. 2. Dead bugs in my water. Twice. 3. Appetizers coming out with entrees. 4. "Complimentary" chips that came without salsa due to poor service (the irony). 5. Split checks that weren't even split right. 6. Ended up waiting so long for a waitress to take our checks that we ended up just paying with cash so we could leave. We had waited over 15 minutes for them just to take our money. You're really bad at business if people have to TRY to give you their money for your services/goods. I just cannot state this enough - this Chili's sucks, and the ONLY reason it gets away with it is because it's a border town. Furthermore, I am inclined to agree that race DOES seem to play a role. All of the Hispanic tables were tended to FAR more quickly than mine any time I have gone. Not planning on going back, which is too bad, because I am really a huge Chili's fan. read more

Poor service the second time we went. Our waiter never came and gave us more service after they gave our food. Food was amazing though! Everything was hot and didn't taste reheated. I do also enjoy the little computer thing they have on the table that has the free games and what we've ordered and if we didn't wanna deal with the waiter we could just pay it there. Worst experience ever . We got sat right away however, it took 25 minutes for a waiter to ask for our drinks after we told the host and another waiter that we had not been attended yet. We also noticed people who got sat after us got their drinks and appetizers within 10 minutes of them sitting down. Once a waiter came by we ordered our drinks AND food as well since we didn't want to risk waiting any longer. It took 10 min for half of the drinks to come out, the alcoholic ones came out another 10 minutes after. Our food was not hot but warm. We tried looking for the manager however never saw them. We went there specifically to watch a game, I asked if they could put it on before we even sat down, they said yes of course. After seated in and again to out the game on, they said yes of course. They never did, we watched the first half on my phone, it took for ever to get the waitress to get our check so we could go somewhere else and watch the game. Terrible service, the food was good. Have brought my Eagle pass family to dinner on several occasions over the years. Because of management issues have had over $200 comped SATURDAY. 10 family. Waitress tried but over her head with service requirements. ( new/ poorly Trained) FOOD. French fries/ chicken wing. Warm like they had been cooked before in warmer - should have sent them back Salsa- great if you like tomato liquid. Strained one cup an had little salsa just liquid. Clearing Table (Chilis does not refill drinks so glasses pile up with empty glasses). Asked waitress to clean up appetizer dishes-- nothing done. Told manager and he took some PILED up dished and took 10 mins to come back for more. Still had table full of dishes. If there was a choice to give it zero stars that's what I would have done I did my online order for curbside to go when I got there I waited 15 minutes the manager walked in front of my truck twice I finally went in to find out what the status was when the manager said I was supposed to text to get my food I asked the manager what number I was supposed to text he said he did not know I showed him my email where it said to be there at 10:49 and no other information I asked him how I was supposed to know he said everyone else does it. I had to ask for utensils and napkins I unfortunately left a tip on the line that was a mistake the food was OK but the service was horrible I will never eat here again read more

There was a few people there and slow time . We waited for 30 minutes for 3 plates . Got our food rice was very hard and they forgot a side . Waited to see if and when they would bring it out , I was more then half way done . Talk to the manager we said forget it . Guess I should just go through a drive thru next time . I love the Buffalo Ranch Chicken Sandwich meal... The staff is excellent at remembering who I am and what I love to drink with my meal. Service is always grand and the expirience is always AWESOME! I love eating at Chillis and talk about the bar area... nothing like a cold beer for happy hour. Over all... Chili's is always good. I have only gotten carry out, so not sure what it is to eat inside, but carry out is ok. Fast service there.

I like the twist on traditional Mexican food. They have good service and a great environment. The people at the bar always look like they are having a blast. It is always busy so you usually have to wait to get a table. I have seen people leave in frustration. I am glad Eagle Pass has one because there are not many places like this here where you almost feel like it is a little bit above a casual dining experience. read more

I frequently eat at Chili's with family and friends. We enjoyed their baked potato soup and the Paradise Pie. It is comfort food at its best. The employees are great and their managers are awesome. I especially liked the way the Chili's employees involved the restaurant with the schools to raise funds for St. Jude's Hospital. Great Food, Great Service, Great Hearts.
