I was very disappointed with my experience at Chili's today. I placed a to-go order and selected the "3 for Me" option, which includes chips and salsa. When I arrived to pick up my order, I noticed the chips were missing. I politely asked the server about it, and she said she would check. Instead, she returned with the manager. When I asked the manager about the missing chips, her response was unexpectedly rude. She stated that the chips had to be selected during the ordering process and that she could not provide them. The issue for me was not the chips themselves, but the unprofessional and dismissive manner in which the situation was handled. It is disappointing to encounter such poor customer service, especially from a manager. Respectful communication goes a long way, and this interaction did not reflect the level of service I expect from Chili's. read more

Me and my family went to Eagle Pass for a vacation, and we ended up eating at Chili's. Immediately, when we walked in, the staff wasted no time seating us. The restaurant itself was clean and tidied, and it didn't take long for a waiter to approach us. Unfortunately.. the waiter didn't speak much English. Communicating with the waiter about our order was an obstacle. When he came back with our order, our burgers were completely disassembled!! It wasn't much of a problem, the food was delicious as always!! Would definitely recommend, just needs more multilingual staff. read more

Unfortunately I agree with a lot of other posts. It was not a good experience. We were seated right away and our server came by immediately. That was a great start. We ordered the burger, baby back ribs and chicken crispers. The burger patties were over cooked/dry. All the fries were cold. We had to wait to get the attention of our server to discuss the problem. We didn't get a refill on our drinks until we were ready to leave. We asked for the manager and explained the situation. He did comp the burger and fries but offered no apologies. We visited and the waiters were extremely busy. However they forgot our drinks, and one of our parties meals, the watermelon margarita was more like clear and watered down. The last straw was how the ticket still reflected the drinks we did not receive and had to be corrected several times. Just had the worst experience at this Chili's. Service was slow (to be expected with a large group) however the check out speed was at a snail pace! We were practically held hostage for 35 minutes while the cashier worked on getting our tickets together! We had other plans tonight other than spending our time at chili's waiting to pay. Its one of the few places I tend to go in town, but they always seem to be very slow and 100% of the time something is messed up. Its just not worth it anymore especially since today they had me wait until I was done with my entree to get my appetizer, AND took 15 minutes to bring me a drink after i asked for a refill. Ahh..Eagle Pass..Arrived on a Sunday Night, not many people here like all places in Eagle Pass. Horrible Bar Scene. Now for the Food....My co-worker and I ordered Chili....arrived COLD....sent it to be heated up...the Chili level of spice was above average definitely had some spice however some of the pieces in it were unedible..tough, reminded me of a fatty piece of grisle. The Fajita I ordered was okay, not worth the 13.59 price for 3 fajita patties with steak and shrimp. I would come here for drinks in the future as the food is edible just not great 2 out of 5 I believe is very accurate but will be back as food options are very limited in this city. read more

This is a bar and restaurant without much competition locally, and it shows. I've come here for a drink occasionally over the years, usually at the suggestions of friends of mine who live in the town. Food quality has always been uneven, as has the service, which is never prompt and is seldom welcoming. But last night was a joke. Same lackluster service I've come to expect. But also, no queso, because the kitchen had run out of it. No guacamole, either. Same reason. Stop and ponder that for a moment: a Mexican restaurant with no queso or guacamole. Typical Chili's. It wasn't busy. There were a lot of empty tables yet we were the 6th party on the wait list. We were told 20 minutes. We asked if we could sit in the bar area. Hostess told us no because there were only two servers on the floor: one on each side. So we waited. Zero parties were seated in the 30 minutes we waited. A group came in behind us and were told 20 minute wait and they left after seeing the empty tables yet a long wait. Another party had been waiting an hour. The manager came out eventually and had no idea what was going on. He didn't know that party had been waiting an hour and that there were five other parties waiting. The others ended up leaving after the manager came out. We thought maybe they were short staff and they were trying to pace the seating for the servers. When my husband asked about that, the manager said "well I'm trying to get my staff to clean the tables. They aren't suppose to seat anyone until all the tables are cleared in that area. If they do, that takes away from your experience." WAIT. WHAT?!?! So that one table that has a few empty glasses is preventing us from eating?!?! Yeop. The manager then said he would clean off a table for us. Turns out he walked off and never came back. Instead he was behind the bar. We never saw him again. One of the waiters moved the dirty glasses and sat us at the clean table next to it. Finally. A seat in the house. We got our drinks and an appetizer. Placed our order. While our food took longer than normal and our drinks ran dry, our server was still nice. Our food came out right. And it was as expected. We never got our check. We used the table computer to pay. We didn't get a receipt because it restarted while we were using it. Never got our receipt. I tried to use the Yelp waitlist--it said 18-20 minute wait. Of course while waiting 30 minutes our spot never changed bc no one was being seated. So if you use that feature here, be prepared for it to not be accurate. While waiting I thought about ordering online and then just eating it there at one of the empty tables. It would had been faster. I'm pretty sure the table the manager was going to clean off for us was still dirty when we left an hour and a half later. At the end of the day, if you choose Chili's...good luck. May there not be a dirty table surrounded by half a dozen clean ones. read more

I'm in town for work so a few of us decided to have a bite to eat on a Tuesday evening. The place was not busy at all and dozens of tables were available. The nice host(ess) told us there would be a 15 minute wait for the service to "catch up". One hour later we were seated right in a cramped table that was way too small for our party. We decided to order right away, but our waitress did not show up. After another 30 minutes we placed an order. A quick trip to chili's turned into a 3 hour ordeal. I would steer clear of this place. I would give ZERO stars, there's flies everywhere in the seating area next to bar. I could count 20 flies on top of our table and the table next to ours and even on window next to our table and when we asked our server Paulina to be moved to another area of the restaurant where they weren't any flies she said the whole restaurant was the same. How can they serve people in an environment where a bunch of flies are all over the place? It's unsanitary!!! I like going here to watch the game and get a drink after work. Every time I've gone I get good service and the food comes out in a timely manner. The server was forgetting everything we asked her for...mixed up our food after explaining everything, the cook burned our meat and had to wait another 30 minutes for the plate to get served again, never brought our appetizer of the 2 for $25 deal neither did she pack it for us to go and this is after repeating to her 3 times to bring our appetizer to go since we didn't get it before the food was ready. I ordered a cookie with ice cream to go because I just wanted to leave and the server just brought me the cookie. No ice cream.. How irritating to have to be calling her for every single little thing she was missing and forgetting!! If you don't want to work then don't work, then I told the host that my meat was burned too and she never brought my plate back, I was still going to take it to go, to eat the rice and beans atleast but nope she never got back to us. It was 4 people in my table. We spent over 2 hours there and didn't even get to eat as a family because of the burned meat you all were serving. Ordered lunch sliders for pick up. Chili's needs to do one of 2 things, change their advertising or enforce their cooks to give what it advertised. Sliders are a joke. Ranch is soo little it can hardly be seen and hard to be tasted. the amount of meat on both sliders is less than what the photo shows for 1 slider and it looks like a half of a piece of cheddar cheese was just on the sliders on both sliders so a half of a piece of cheese divided into two sliders.That's pathetic. If this lunch special would have been any more than $7 I wouldn't have even accepted to take it home with me.
