My first time ever at Chili's we had a big group and our server was wonderful and very helpful. Amazing experience!

Went here yesterday and had a good time. We always come to this Chili's while in Champaign. We've been here about 10-15 times over the past 8 or so years. Never disappoints. I only gave it a 4 star today because the burger patty could have been bigger. Also the blossom pedal order was small for the money. Everything else was great. Our drinks from the bar were very good and the food was good. Our server Dane was very nice and was very attentive. We'll definitely be back next time we are in town. I know it's a chain but the service is excellent and the food is too. read more

Stopped here for lunch on a Saturday. Got seated right away and our server was prompt and attentive. Food came out quickly and everything hot and fresh. This particular location is not too far off I-74 for a quick lunch when traveling through Illinois. I always prefer to eat somewhere like Chili's rather than stopping for fast food. On 3/19/21 my daughter and I went to Chili's cause we loved going there. Well after tonight I won't be back. My daughter ordered a drink and was never carded. She does not look like 40 years old. Second took forever to get the drink and our onion petals. We ordered from the 2 for $25 menu. We got our food and was never asked how our food was, I had to flag her down everyone we needed something. So we were done and I asked if we could have our dessert to go please. She comes out with the chocolate chip cookie and I said we said we needed it to go. Remind you she was so worried about the table across of us(table of 8). She was over there all the time. So she came back and literally threw the sack with the cookie and chocolate sauce in it. And she hurried and turned to that table of 8. She had told us that the manager was going to take $9 off of out ticket. Never happened. We went to say something to manager about not carded and the manager said oh I will talk to her, then I proceeded to tell him about how she threw the sack at us. I told him we pay good money to come here and this is the way we get treated. All he said well I am sorry. I said I won't be back, he said well I am sorry. He basically followed us out the door. I ordered the chips & salsa with a house margarita & the grilled shrimp tacos for dinner. Holy Toledo was it ever hot! My mouth was on fire!! I was so stuffed from drinking so much water I couldn't finish the tacos. They were really good too. The outside of my mouth even started to burn and I thought my throat was going to close shut. They were so good!!! I love Chilis but I think I might be allergic to the peppers they use because I thought I was going to die! But they were really good............:-) read more

Chilli's is a regular-ok kind of place. Neve expected too much from it but this place here is the worst. Service here is horrible. Waiters are slow and rude. Do yourself a favor and don't waste your time here. There are many other places in this area here to kill some time and grab a bite. read more

this is absolute balls!! its crazy that I love Chilis yet this specific restaraunt had THE WORST service ever...Not because we waited a long while, Not that the waitress wasn't a sweety, Not that the food & drinks weren't good BUT because my friend's water glass had brown stains on the inside after she'd already been drinking it, they also brought out the entree & appetizers came out at the same time OH and those plates were dirty as well. the worst part however was another friend dinning with us had lukewarm food with a side of hair YES I said hair in her food........ My, how I loathe chain restaurants. But sometimes, you are stuck eating at them bc it's a group decision. I ordered the sweet & spicy chicken served with rice and steamed broccoli. This is one of their "lighter choices" coming in at 590 calories... there's a reason for that. It's a small meal portion-wise with a noticeably small chicken breast. I easily cleared the plate. The service here was spotty - took about 2 hrs for 3 of us to be served (no app or dessert). I guess if you're eating out, order something more fun. This leaves you unfulfilled. read more

Just right now we arrived and had to wait about 10 minutes to be seated. There were a few people at the bar and some patrons but it was not busy at all. A few servers saw us but did not acknowledge us. Finally the host appeared, he sat us and left. About 6 more minutes passed. Not a waiter in sight. A few waiters walked by. No acknowledgement. Lost my business. I am more than patient and sensitive to business that are short staffed when there is some form of customer service but here I found none. read more

Had the 10ounce sirloin with cheesy mashed potatoes and loaded fries to replace the steamed broccoli at this location. Both of our steaks were way under done after asking for medium and medium well respectively, my fries tasted unseasoned, and the mashed potatoes were adequate but not great. I think I got a decent amount of food for the price but it could have been better. I like this location and figured they were having an off day. Our waitress did a great job being attentive and addressing our needs with the steaks. She gets 5 stars if I were rating her apart from the overall experience. I figure this is a fluke from an ordinarily good place to get fed at a reasonable price so I'm giving 1 star for past experiences, and 1 star for our waitress (although she'd get 5 if I were rating her apart from my experience. read more

A friend told me about this "hole in the wall" called the Chili's. Was wondering if it's a Mexican restaurant. Never heard of it before. Felt like it would be a really relevant eatery and so I went. Sort of cool how this place cultivates an ironic mainstream atmosphere. Feel like it would be a place where I would hang out with my high school friends if I lived in a suburb and not a "mid-sized farming community." Fun to hear mainstream music and eat really fancy, alternative food masquerading as regular burgers and fries [via McDonald's]. Sort of refreshing to have the hostess ironically saying, "Hey y'all, welcome to the Chili's" instead of some bro in a taco cart saying, "Hey bro, welcome to the Taco Cart." Ordered a burger. Felt like it was pretty good. And I also enjoyed the Bottomless Chips & Salsa™. The salsa tasted like cilantro Sort of like salsa I may get at a "hole in the wall taqueria" that is actually a hole in the wall. Feel like the owners of the Chili's are brilliant since it's not very often we can eat fine food in an ironic setting. Was surprised that the ironic experience of eating at the Chili's even went down to the service. Always frustrated that when I eat at a relevant restaurant, it takes like 3 hours to cook some enchiladas. Felt like this was good that I could get quality food in like 20 minutes. Reading the other reviews of relevant Yelpers and feel like they aren't really appreciating the ironic qualities that the Chili's provides. Feel like they're pretty entry level but as long as they're enjoying the food, it must be enough. read more

The place was dirty when we came in on a Sunday evening at 6 pm. They weren't busy and had lazy enough staff to not recover. Our waitress had some sort of psychological problem where she talked to herself, wiped an over flowing beverage on her pant leg and allowed bland Luke warm food out of the kitchen. She didn't know how to service our one year old who was with us. Even another tabled complained about the food, the bathroom and the waitress. This location has really slacked off since the last few times I've pardoned this establishment in the last few years. I'm done visiting this location. One star for effort. Ordered 3 meals for curbside pick-up. We arrived right on time. We were the only red car in the pick-up area so easy for them to find us. I had never received an email saying our order was ready. Two different girls approached our car twice with orders asking us our name. They weren't our orders. Then a girl came out with a large order that looked like ours, but she looked left and right and went back in. Finally after 20 minutes my husband went in. Three other people who were waiting followed him. He said there were two orders sitting there, one being the one we had thought was ours. One of the people asked the waiters/waitresses for help and one even told they couldn't help him as they were busy. Finally my husband checked the names on the orders sitting there. The large one was ours so her grabbed it and walked out. He walked out exactly 1/2 hour AFTER we were suppose to receive our order! Too bad. Food was good, but we won't be back. read more

So I decided to drive up and dine in at Chili's. Normally we order carry out. After all, I just wanted a "fuel stop". My God this place has gone down hill. I want to collect our next reward and never come back. Gross. Dirty and smelly. I remember when I had several friends work here and the place was managed like someone cared. Of course that was back in 2005 and a lot has changed. The bartender/server in the bar was very impetuous and rude. When I stated I only wanted water to start he asked, "is that ALL?" very loudly. Asked for the water without lemon and of course it came with lemon. Now my Guacamole was not ordered as requested. Done here--good luck. Perhaps new management is in order. The food here is almost always good but I wish I could say the same about the service. Because of the bad service, we have skipped going there many times. We got tired of having to call & talk to the manager about our poor service. Also, I love their blackberry tea but it is very inconsistent. Sometimes it is sweet while bitter others. So, I'd give the food 4-5 stars but 1-2 for service. 8/7/15-update. Family ate here about 4:30 pm. Not very busy yet took a while for food to show up. 3 of the meals we ordered were "Mexican" dishes & seemed way spicier than normal. Waitress seemed as if she had better places to be. The food here is good. Since I am a big salad person I like their quesadilla explosion salad. It is served with a cheese quesadilla which really goes well with the salad and fills you up. I will say that this place needs a good cleaning. Each time I'm there (my visits are spread out by several months in between) the tables and seats are sticky and there is an obvious film of grime on every surface. This makes me wonder how clean the kitchen is. So, while I enjoy the food I am wary of eating here anymore because of this. read more

If I could give this no stars, I would. We came here for my in-laws birthday dinner because she had never been before. We waited forever for our food, my food came out completely cold. Sent it back to get a new one but to go since it had taken forever before. The waitress had the audacity to even ask me if I wanted that plate reheated or a totally new one made. Why would this even asked of the customer as an option? Just remake the whole thing! My husbands meal finally came out and it was fine but we were already almost done eating. My MIL was almost done eating and there was a screw in her salad. Looked like a screw but could've been a gauge out of someone's ear or one of the screw earring. She had actually bit down on it and hopefully she isn't in pain from a few days for now. Thankfully the waitress was standing there as it unfolded. Not once did a manager come to address us and yes they comped us some but we should've just walked out way before that. This establishment is going down hill in a hurry. We went to this Chili's 3-4 years ago & had a very strange experience. That night our waitress was obviously high on something. She got our drinks & took our order. Only time we saw her after that was when she refilled another tables ice tea, turned around & walked a few feet, turned around & came back to try to refill the same drinks again. It was surreal. After about 30 minutes another server came & took the whole sections orders again. It was funny in that our whole section was laughing & joking together about the whole experience. We didnt go back until last night 12/28/19. We had a gift card we got for Christmas. Service was much better. Hubby order steak & a full order of shrimp. When they brought the food he received 6 tiny shrimp. Two Waitresses confirmed that was a full order. Manager came & said no that was a half order & had the kitchen bring him 12 more shrimp. Makes me wonder how well the staff knows the menu. My quesadilla was good. His steak was just ok. Overpriced for what it was. The appalling part of the visit was when I went to the restroom. On the way back I had to wait for a couple servers to get food to a large table & happened to look straight into the kitchen. It was filthy! The entire floor was covered in food. I really didnt want to see that! Maybe most restaurants are like that at 8:00 on Saturday night but I've never been able to see it before, I don't know. It was really disturbing. Very disappointing. My wife and myself decided to come eat here with our 7 month old son. The hostess brought silverware and crayons for an infant. Pointless. I ordered the sirloin (medium), my wife ordered the half slab of ribs. On the menu it says that the ribs are "Served with NEW skillet smoked potato wedges". When our food was finally served, the steak was over cooked and my wife was served normal fries. She asked the waitress about the smoked potato wedges and she says 'oh we are out'. Why wouldn't you tell the customer when they order a meal that comes with it? I sent my steak back to be redone, our food had obviously been sitting in the window for quite some time.. My wife's ribs were very tough and had barely any meat on them. My wife was done eating before I even got my steak. Who wants to eat separately? Nothing was done for the inconvenience (free dessert, discount, comp, etc..), the manager didn't even stop by to apologize. Terrible food. Terrible service. I secretly love Chili's. There, I said it. I'm not proud. It's an obnoxious chain, but it's the obnoxious chain I default to when my friends want to go to a chain restaurant. And okay, the Southwestern Eggrolls are delicious. I've been to this location many times, and I've always gotten pretty good service. This is a reliable stop if you're out on Prospect and need something quick and relatively inexpensive. read more

I hardly ever go to chain restaurants but went to this dump for a friend. The seats had crumbs on them and table was sticky, I did ask to have it wiped off after we were sat. It took a little over 15 minutes to get a drink from the bar. I could see the girl supposed to be tending bar on her phone, but not making drinks. Manager's sitting at a small booth chatting and texting. Do people here want to make money? No problems with the food thankfully. It was on par with Denny's. Good place to buy a gift card for someone you dislike. read more
