Living in a small town it is difficult to find a places to eat. Chilis is now my favorite. After several visits I have never been disappointed. The food is always excellent. I usually prefer a salad and have found the all very good at Chilis. The service is always excellent. Laura the bartender managed to take care of the entire bar herself. Terrible roaches in cup plus more! So hello walking to the story of this terrible establishment. Walked in with wife on a Thursday evening after work about 8pm for the dinner. In this particular building there are tables separated by glass windows very close to other people dining in. We politely asked to be seated in another booth so we can eat without others in our mouth while eating, waitress said no problem but than set another family next to us even though the restaurant was almost empty. Next waitress came to take out orders and we asked to move again while explaining the qualm. We ordered drinks (asking for closed bottled drinks (root beers) chips and guacamole which came out surprisingly fast but on looking at the glass we noticed bug parts (wings plus more), the bottle were open and the guacamole was old browning like it had been pre made from another table (leftovers), the glasses also had very visible lip prints and dirt around the rim and inner. Terrible management, she has half of the restaurant empty and all dirty, we waited patiently for 30 minutes while the host just passed more than 7 families just because I have a party of 5. Manager refused to see customers and we are talking about multiple parties including us leaving thanks to her bad decision of not taking care of bigger parties. Manager was not coming out to control this mess, a lot of the parties including us were asking for a manager and she still refusing to come out and she refuses to give us corporate number.. She is just hurting your business and we visit chili's pretty often (first time at this location). Manager was so unprofessional and didn't give a simple damn. Hosts advised they only have 3 servers, the bathroom was clogged and the smell was intense. It was a bye and never again situation. Please learn how to treat your customers with respect.. This Chili's was located next to the Holiday Inn in Arcadia that we stayed at. It was Easter Sunday and most of Arcadia was closed but thankfully Chili's was open. My daughter and I needed to get a quick meal before heading off in our separate directions and this restaurant fit our time frame perfectly. After kayaking the Peace River all morning we were starving. One of my favorite things to order at Chili's is the ribs. They had half racks on their 2 for $25 menu so we ordered that with sides of loaded mashed potatoes and corn on the cob. Our meal also came with an appetizer, we had the cheese fries and a dessert, we picked the skillet chocolate chip cookie. Service was friendly and more importantly fast. The price is great for the amount of food you get. At first Chili's seemed a strange place to eat Easter lunch but with time running out it ended up working out perfectly. I love all of the quaint historic restaurants in downtown Arcadia but when you just need a quick filling meal at a reliable chain you can't go wrong with this Chili's. read more

We ordered the ultimate smokehouse. The jalapeño sausage was cold, the quesadilla were soggy like they just slapped some stuff between the tortillas and put it on plate. The corn on the cob was old and dried up and the garlic bread was soggy. Overall just very disappointing. However our server was amazing and tried to make it right. She was the only bright spot in our visit. As we were leaving the cook sent out really nice quesadillas and hot cooked sausage. So they get an A for effort read more

My wife and I were in town for the weekend and went to Chilis. First thing we noticed the whole staff was working hard and together. We sat at the bar and Beth was amazing. It's hit or miss when you come here for sit down service and take out. Some times the food does come out cold or they keep forgetting one thing in your order. The restaurant has its days where you can feel that it has been cleaned and days where you feel the floor sticky. One really bad experience here was when my sister took a bite of her burger and the meat paper that it's comes packaged in was still on it and the patty was barely even cooked. I would Love to give them 5 Stars. But.. For Starters. #1 Arcadia is a small Cow Town which is know for The Gran Champion Rodeo. Everytime my guest and I are seated in the Bar area the Music is so Loud and sounds like Rap Music. My guess and I ask the Waitress if she could ask the Manager to turn down the Music because we couldn't conduct a conversation without shouting across the table. The Waitress responded by saying there's nothing we can do about it. So I told her to go get the Manager, he came out and the same response, saying the Company regulates the Music. So my response was, get on the phone and tell them the music needs to be turned down. Keep in mind Chil's is not a Bar, people aren't there to dance and get Rowdy! Most people come to have a decent meal and relax. The age bracket can vary from 21 - 80+ most of the seniors wear hearing aids. Think how uncomfortable that must be! People in General don't mind music, but for crying out loud play music that's comfortable for all ages! Most people enjoy soft Country Music or even Jazz would work compare to what their playing today! If kind of loud music continues, I guarantee you your going to loss a lot of Customers. I ordered the Ultimate Smoke House. The Sausage came out cold, the ribs were not great and the corn on the cob was cold. Server didn't come check to see if food was ok. My husband had a hamburger and fries and loved it. They were training an employee next to our table with an IPAD, she listened to it at a very high volume. It was very disturbing. Surely, they have an office or an area without customers to do this training. I had to raise my voice to be heard by my husband who was sitting in front of me. The restaurant could use window washing and a deep clean. I watched other servers hustling to provide good service. Mine was nice just busy hanging out with friends. Half way between the west and the east. This Chilis is Excellent. It is 3:30 pm k Sunday. And yes. We are HUNGRY! Greeted very friendly by the hostess. Given the choice whether to sit in the bar area or at a booth on the opposite side. We opted for booth since it was more than a couple of us. Omar was our server he greeted usvery politely gave us lots of info about all the new items on their menu. He was Rockham Sockum preparing the Guacamole at the table. The Guacamole was prepared very accurate to the customary way. Except: Corp/owners. Take notice that along with the Mortar.( Bowl with the three little legs, and the Pestle. Which, is the item that you use to mash/crush herbs spices and mix the avocado in the Mortar. MAY SOUND LIKE "NO BIG DEAL" But, it saves lots of time. And YES, the Customer gets a better product. Looks Authentic & Not Tacky When done With 2 Forks:-( I ordered a two for one margarita (their house margarita) which by the way, it's very good. I also ordered their chicken margarita bowl it was FANTASTIC & HAD ENOUGH 4 LATER. Service and food here is definitely a five-star experience at least today for me and the people in our party. Stopped at this Oasis in the center of Florida for a bite to eat and a drink. I was there in an odd time 3:30pm. I sat at the bar and spoke to the manager, who slammed Yelp when I brought up the reviews on the site. The bartender who was helping me was very good and helpful. He wanted to give good service, which should be easy since no one was there but me an another couple. I ordered the fajitas which came out sizzling and as ordered. I could be missing the boat on this one as I don't often eat corporate food. Chilis was the second best restaurant we found in Arcadia Florida and the only one that had televisions. We ate off the new healthier menu. The menu write ups made my mouth water. Reality was a different thing altogether. Soup was an over salted broth with a few bits of tasteless this and that. The bar was good. Somebody at Chilis has been working overtime on drinks and drink specials. If you go to Chilis steal the menu as it is the best of the food experience and drink at the bar. The bar almost makes one forget the food and it would be a 3 star experience with attentive waitstaff, good drinks and sports but the food is yech, 2 stars bad food not worth the money. read more

My family and I drove 30 minutes to eat dinner at the Arcadia Chili's. When we arrived the restaurant was at most 30% capacity. So I figured we would be seated right away... NOT. After standing at the front for over 5 minutes finally a waitress came to the front and asked how many. We had a party of 4 and she said we had to wait at least 20 minutes! And they were nearly empty! I asked so can we sit in the bar area? And she said no, no one will take care of you there in a very rude manner. She then tells us there are 2 couples in front of us and they have been waiting for longer than us. She didn't want our business at all. Now it is just disgusting, the building has not been maintained in years I have thought of goMing out there myself with a power-washer just to give it a fighting chance. Stopped in on our drive back from Disney and we have been a many Chilis before, this one definitely compares. We always see fast service which means this is a good, consistent food restaurant chain. The staff was so friendly and definitely helped us figure out what we wanted to eat. The waitress here was on top of refilling our waters. My Bacon Cheeseburger and french fries came out fast and without a problem, that is sometimes hard to do at chain restaurants. This also seemed to be where the some of the locals hang out and that means its good or the service is good. That service was good and the food was good too. read more
