Some folks collect postage stamps, but I collect dive bars! This is a good one!…read moreCertain things are a "must" in a dive bar. * Of course, a bar and this one seats about 15. * A full bar as opposed to just beer. * A pool table * An ATM as this joint is cash only. * A Touch Tunes juke box * Entertainment on selected nights * Smoking. Uggggh but more about that below. This is a tiny place inside with only a handful of high-tops near the bar. However, for a dive bar, there is massive outside, really nice seating. If you are sensitive to the smoke, this is great! To be fair, they keep the doors open as much as they can to keep it tolerable. Note- The parking lot is terrible but that's common for a dive bar. Note- It appears they will be offering food very soon which should be interesting and worth another visit. If you are on Route 27 in Highlands County and looking for an adult libation or two, this would be a fine stop.

One thing I really like is that customers can pay to choose the music, so there's always something different playing. We've also been there on nights with a DJ, which makes for an even better time. There's a small dance floor with a stripper pole if that's your thing! They also allow smoking, and you can even buy cigarettes there. They also have a vape and Pokémon card vending machine, again if that's your thing. They have a separate pool room, along with plenty of seating options, including bar seating, high-top tables, and tables facing outside. Overall, it's a great place to hang out with friends, grab a drink, play some pool, and enjoy the atmosphere. I always have a good time here and definitely recommend checking it out!

They are a wonderful married couple and hands-on owners. Atmosphere- It's dark and like most dive bars they do allow smoking. However, they do have several high-tech smoke-eaters installed in the ceiling that mitigate the damage. There are multiple pool tables, electronic games, and dart boards. Plenty of TVs. A Touch Tunes juke box of course. A relatively small l-shaped bar. The entire space is very clean and in much better shape than many dive bars. In true dive bar fashion, they are open from 9 am to 2 am every day of the week. There's nothing like a shot and a beer for breakfast to get your day started! Customer Service- Some of the bartenders have been there, done that for decades. You'll have no problem with service. Expect your drinks to be cheap and don't look for anything fancy. On a hot Florida day, dark and cool and cheap drinks is much appreciated my many. If you are in the area, stop by for a pop or two or three!
