All the teachers were patient with my daughter and myself. The facility utilize an app that updates everything with my daughter. I see when she eats, what she eats, when she naps, etc and actual pictures of my baby throughout the day. With my baby starting daycare at a later age, she has became more social and loves being at daycare. Thank you Ms Deedee for caring for the kids like you do.

My daughter…read morewas here all of 4 months and she went thru multiple teachers within that timeframe (from teachers quitting to getting fired). My baby caught hand foot mouth almost immediately. When she was able to return, I provided them with a doctors note to return but was still turned around from Ms. Venus who wasn't even physically there to see my child. All because my child also has eczema and they couldn't tell the difference. DESPITE a doctors note clearing her. The new director at the moment (Ms. Bailey) was unsure of the decision to make which in my eyes is a loss of confidence in their system as a whole. Something that also rubbed me wrong was a comment Ms. Venus mentioned when my child wasn't quite fully able to hold her bottle at the time, she mentioned "oh they normally know that around 4-5 months...it depends on what the parents are doing". As a director of a daycare you should be more cognizant that every child's journey is different and you never downplay a parents abilities (there's a professional way to approach that). I also ran into issues with them giving my daughter the wrong bottles. I label EVERYTHING, yet they still managed to mix up my daughters items. Even having my daughter drink out of a cup that wasn't hers because a teacher in the classroom put her OWN label with my daughters name on it. Also, having my daughter lay on sheets that weren't hers. I understand things happen but that should NEVER be happening! Especially if I'm doing my part and providing all of that and labeling everything. Had that been the other way around with a parent failing to do so, we'd be held accountable as well. To finally validate things for me was when I put in my notice that my daughter won't be returning. I'm military and received a subsidy back pay lump sum that was applied to my account. At the time of me notifying them, I had over $1K left in my account. After having a discussion with Ms. Venus over the phone and via email, she tries to tell me I'm due back $42 out of that. She was out of her mind even thinking that was ok. After I brought to her all of my documentation and discussed things with her further, she agreed that I was owed back what I initially KNEW I was owed. Her comment was "they're losing out on money". Unbelievable that as a business you'll unethically take money from paying parents because "you're losing money". Needless to say, be careful when dealing with them. Not worth it in my eyes. They need a better system and more genuine people working in that field. SN: They deleted my review on Google!

He had an infection for 7 weeks and had 3 series of antibiotic, a total of 30 days. I observed that the children who were sick on his first day of school were still sick when he left the facility. 1. I witnessed one teacher that she used one wet wipes to wipe the snot of 3 children. 2. They don't use disposable boots inside the classroom. People step on the mat with their shoes to where my son sleeps, pick-up his toys or even foods. When the kids play outside, they used the same shoes inside. 3. The staff does not wear scrubs (I know it is per company policy) but wearing long nails should not be tolerated due to the sensitive skin of baby/kids. 4. I passed a note to one of the teacher/staff because my son was having diarrhea that time as a side effect of the antibiotic and he had moderate diaper rash. I instructed to used wet cotton on the reddened area, and use a liberal amount of diaper cream in which I provided and give him juice (Pedialyte) which is inside his bag. When he came in the afternoon, nothing has been done. I assumed that the note was not passed along and that gave my son severe diaper rash to the point that he had a skin tear on his buttocks. 5. I asked for 1 week off so that my son can recover at home, but I was told by the director that I will still pay the $220/week in which I understand because it is a business. So he attended again and we were called the afternoon because he broke a fever. He had another infection and needed another series of antibiotic which is his 3rd one. During that time we decided to give his 5 days of notice instead of 2 weeks notice and I was advised that I cannot refund my $220 which I deposited from his first week. (I paid $440 for his 1st and last week on his first day per policy). I told the director Ms. Loria that I should have sued the school for negligence due to the severe diaper rash he had the other week. I reminded her about the note that was not passed along and it seems like she can't remember so I told her that she suddenly had amnesia. Judging on her tone, it seems like she cannot control her temper and she told me "You cannot sue us because in the first place we are just doing you a favor, you should not be passing a note." The note which contains all of the instructions is the only communication I have due to the teacher's different shifts or they might forget to pass the verbal orders. They cannot say they are doing me a favor because I am a paying customer. 6. The school does not have a solid protocol for Medication administration. They have this paper which needed physicians order and signature but they don't have solid policy for over-the-counter medication. I am not even sure if the director is familiar with as needed medication such as Tylenol that needs to be given as needed for fever and not prophylactically. 7. Menu: we were given a menu on his first day and I expected that they will give muffin but when we came back to check on him, they were eating pop tarts. 8. Communication chart: There is one time that my son was not fed because it is not noted on the communication chart. I was told by the prior director Ms. Melanie that he ate because she saw him eating but I told them that without documentation, it has not been done. Please save your money or find in-home providers. There were some nice teachers and loved my child but overall, it is the sanitation issue and the professionalism that needed to be fixed.

He would panic every time I left him in a class at the YMCA or church before, but he loves preschool. There is so much to do there that he loves all the toys and activities. His classroom is large and just filled with so much to do! The playground is wonderful and he loves the shed filled with cars and bikes he can use. He's happy when I drop hi off and happy when I pick him up. They offer dance class and soccer during the school day! I just felt like they had to much to offer to entertain him. His teacher is so sweet too! The class is small and the kids seem great as well.

Our daughter did not give us all the details until three years later when it came out in counseling. However, she had gone to the principal repeatedly. We initially left because she was having panic attacks, we have since learned the panic attacks were happening because of how unsafe she felt. I have heard that the male student was finally kicked out after two classes of girls came forward refusing to attend Prom with this young man. Only then did the school respond but it was too late for our daughter. We really loved this school but now realize they are not prepared to handle the larger issues in modern days that will continue to come their way. Ignoring problems only hurts people and does irreversible damage.
