Our premature baby attended for about 11 months…read more During that time we experienced skipped bottles (which is extremely alarming for preemies), medications not being administered as instructed, and repeated communication concerns where teachers became hostile when concerns were raised. We ultimately withdrew him after finding unexplained bruising on his arm and no one could provide an incident report for his left arm. The bruises were dark, the attached photo is after a few days. We reported our concerns because we no longer felt comfortable with his care and lost faith in current leadership to drive meaningful change.

They are very attentive, supportive, and always treat you like you are family from the moment you walk in the door and not just as a parent or guardian of an attendant. It could be your first time walking in there and they will greet you with a warm and welcoming smile. They keep you up to date with their app that tells you how often your child is changed, incidents (if any), meals, etc. The staff is quick to respond to any questions or concerns you have. They have a great environment that is always clean and full of fun activities for the kids and even families from time to time. There is torn carpet in the infant room that the babies unravel & put in their mouths. The director there is a fake hack & the secretary is her bully-like minion who does her bidding for some weird reason manipulating the employees & making them feel less than anything. When children are sick, in many cases they do not contact their parents. Children are made to go down for a nap with high grade fevers. The cook was coerced to come back to work before her quarantine was up, resulting in teachers catching the virus. They would use fear as a tactic to force people to come to work if they were sick with ailments that they very well should not be in contact with children yet..ie..covid, stomach viruses & fevers. They will employ you just till you qualify for benefits & then fire you for unjust cause so you can't have what you worked hard for. Babies are given the wrong bottles resulting in other children drinking breast milk that did not come from their own mother's(from somebody else). Babies are given formula that are strictly breast resulting in vomiting & illness. Babies have gotten ahold of prescription medications & played with them & administration done nothing about it. Employees are forced to work after work related injuries. Upon cleaning infant room with another employee a flattened mouse was found deceased in the cabinet. Carpet cleaned is every once in awhile. Water does not get hit in the infant room resulting in poor sanitation. Employees are snapped at and talked down to. Blood is left unclean from incidents in which children have gotten hurt. Just don't take your kids here. Its just not a good idea.

Collectively , we have invested 9 years with both of our children having attended Primrose. We feel the need to share our apprection with these words. With our first born, we recall scrolling and scrolling through the internet to find the best possible care for our baby... to the extent of keeping us awake at night. Luckily, we came across Primrose at Cahoon Commons. It was a godsend and we can genuinely say it was the best decision we have ever made. Being duel militray, the staff at Primrose was very accommodating with the hours, extreme professionalism, and even arranged fun arts & crafts to mail my husband while he was on deployment, amount many other things. Everyone wants to drop their babies off with trusted care and we can honestly say we knew our babies were safe and in excellent care every single day. We cannot express how much we appreciate you all. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, for loving our children and giving us peace of mind on a daily basis for over the past 9 years. I feel safe having my children here & I also think they have just the right number of children in the center. Overall, I think this is a safe, clean, & happy environment for children.

Of course in front of parents she was sweet and giggly, but once backs were turned she was a total different person including the parents she did not like. She wants the loyalty of her staff to lye with her yet everything that happens within a center should be in the best interest of the kids. She picks and chooses what staff members she wants to be giddy with and talks Crap about each staff in a Slye way. I myself went into children's palace academy thinking i could help make a change within a bad environment. She was told numerous times that the kitchen and classroom had ants. Nothing was ever made clear to the parents when there was any type of change. Let's not forget the fire drills we never did since I've worked there but yet my name is on the paper that licensing comes to look at. I kindly gave her my resignation letter last week and she started acting cold towards me as she does other employees she does not like. She told me today will be my last day because i tried to inform parents i would be leaving. Don't get me wrong it has the potential to be a great daycare but $185 for a twos class that already had 4 different teachers writhing 5 months is ridiculous. The persona and advertisement she gives off is a complete fake. But if you're looking for childcare or a job she's open and hiring i still wish the owner nothing but success & hope she fixes everything before licensing comes out.
