We appreciate how honest the therapist was about how she didn't see any underlying concerns with her in this area and was not pushy about continuing therapy sessions. But we did discuss perhaps occupational therapy to help her with feeding for future development. So we booked a few feeding OT sessions with Nadia and my daughter was in love with her from day 1. She was kind, patient and instantly connected with our daughter in trying to pin point the best way to encourage her to open up on how she interacts with food. Would highly recommend.

On recommendation of our dentist, we tried some videos to help him with speech, but we were not successful on our own. After a Zoom call with Ariel and Ahmad, the speech therapist, we felt very confident and comfortable with Fairfax Pediatric Therapy. After the first session, my son made huge strides in his "sh" sounds - he was actually able to articulate it correctly, even if it was a struggle. Long story short, as of today (3 months after starting) Finn has met all of his speech goals and no longer needs the services. Both Ahmad and Finn worked hard to make this happen - and in such a short time. I didn't expect progress so fast, to be honest. Not only that - my kiddo actually looked forward to the sessions. Ahmad took the time to get to know his interests - chess and strategy games - and built the sessions around play. When we left today, for the last time, Finn said he was going to miss his friend. We have had the best experience! Thank you.

At 25 years old and as an avid runner, I was not keen on this idea and was dissatisfied with a suggested opiate approach to my pain. I was recommended to see Dr. Stroud by a friend. Instantly, we connected. After hearing for years about pain mitigation and more shots and pills, it felt like ecstasy to have someone bring a can-do attitude and positive outlook to my pain. We did I believe 10 rolfing sessions together, it was not easy but Dr. Stroud worked hard while we were together and while apart (to get insurance to help pay for my sessions). She helped me change my posture, running style, and even the seat in my car to make sure I wouldn't be plagued by knee and hip pain. I am totally pain-free now, my "doctors" are miffed. Dr. Stroud changed my life. I log a minimum of ten thousand steps a day, run often, play sports, and lift weights. To think walking was supposedly going to be a lifelong struggle, I cannot thank Dr. Stroud and the Hand-N-Hand team enough. I'd pay double the price I paid to be as content as I am now with my body. I recommend them to anyone who has a nagging injury or isn't content with a life of pain.

They have two locations: Annandale and McLean. We've been to both. The Annandale location is closer to us to drive to from Loudoun County, although I prefer the McLean location...because there are more things to do while waiting. Annandale not so much, you have to sit put. We've been very very happy with Skill Builders and my son gets excited to see his therapists each visit. I mean he runs happy from the car to the office and can't wait, especially for Ms. Lindsay for OT. We drive an hour each way from the next county over just to come here.

Enhabit Home Health has Zero coordination between the person answering the phones and the aids that showed up. My Dad was in the hospital after a fall and broke a bone in his neck and we have to be very careful. He was released form the hospital On Wednesday an aid showed up who was suppose to give them a bath, but the aide said that was someone else who was going to come Friday. Friday rolls around an aid come over to help walk up and down the street, but not to give him a bath or change his neck brace. They said the person coming Saturday was. Saturday rolls around and the aide was just checking up on him and said oh that's someone else. I complained to the office, saying this is ridiculous and explained how extremely frustrated but they said for someone was supposed to come to give him a bath Monday. They even called on Sunday to check in an see how he was doing which was nice, but they said someone would be there between 9:00 and 10:00. At 10:00 since no one has called or showed up we called the office and now they said someone is coming at 1:00pm. At any rate we are extremely frustrated, there is zero coordination between the office and the aids and a different aid shows up every time.

I would give this place no stars if possible. My loved one was referred here by the hospital after…read moreher surgery for rehab. I will say the rehab is great but in certain situations they push too much. Rehab for someone 75 and up 5 to 6 times a week for an hour might be too much, but that's another story. I was under the impression that a skilled nursing facility would provide the same level of care as the hospital. Boy, was I wrong. The place smelled like piss and poop as soon as I walked in. There were long term care residents just sitting in the hallway in their wheelchairs, some were not dressed appropriately and appeared they had needs far greater than rehab. At this point, I knew we made the wrong decision. This was not going to be a nice rehab vacation. My loved one had a private room with her own personal bathroom. Sounds great right? The room was tiny and dirty. The whole building appears to need a good scrubbing down and cleaned. The curtains had stains on them and the bed and furniture look like something from 1980. I really don't know the time frame of the hospital bed because I have never seen a wood particle hospital bed. Now management needs to get it together and update the furniture, you know your product is old. At what point do you all think beds need to be replaced? 20, 30, 40 or 50 years? Updates are a good thing. Residents only get baths twice a week. My loved one was unable to get into the shower due to her recent surgery. So the CNA washed her down with a towel and water no soap. Now in the hospital they do bedside baths with sanitized wipes. Baths with sanitized wipes never occurred during our stay. If they have wipes they were never used. She was only provided water and towel. No one provided foley care either. The whole time I was questioning why are we going through this? The level of care I would provide at home was higher than what she was being provided here. The skilled nurse spends most of her day passing out medicine. She does not have enough time to spend with the residents. The CNA's do not come by daily as they do in the hospital to get the resident washed, teeth brushed and dressed. They don't have enough time because they have too many residents to care for. Also, people cry out during the day and night. I didn't know why but that was scary. I was as scared to leave my loved one at night. I would constantly sit with her to ensure she was ok. At the 5 day mark my loved one started to get sick. By day 7 she had a pre-scheduled Dr appointment and when I came to get her she looked different than the day before. At this point, I loaded her in the wheelchair to take her to her pre-scheduled appointment. During the car ride she was very lethargic and her condition worsened so I took her to the ER. Thank God, I did. She stayed in the hospital for 4 days. Overall, this place needs to hire more trained CNA's, nurses, and cleaning staff should be there around the clock. They need to really deep dive into their patient cleaning and infection policy and ensure it really takes place, rather than just saying that they do. Bedside baths with wipes/foley care should be done. Ask the patient if it was done not the CNA. These suggestions need to be implemented immediately. They need to invest in better furniture. Update the beds and curtains. Also, the food was not appetizing.
