My daughter went to speech here for about five to six months in 2017. She never really warmed up to the therapist but that wasn't necessarily the fault of the therapist. I'm giving them one star because of what happened after we stopped going. I had always paid my copay at the time of the visit every visit. At one point I asked if I had reached the maximum number of visits covered by insurance and was told that I had not yet and that when and if it happens they could ask for approval for more. We quit in late October 2017. I never heard anything about owing any money or that insurance had stopped paying until a year later when I received a letter from a collections agency for $112.28. I immediately called and spoke with Valerie who claims they sent me three bills that were never paid. I never received any bills from them. Because it was already in collections she claimed they couldn't do anything else. At no point did anyone call me to tell me my insurance visits had run out or that I owed any money. Since I had always paid my copay and never received anything from them I assumed that either I had not reached the maximum number of visits or that if I had that insurance had approved additional ones. Now this bill for $112.28 is on my credit report as past due and my credit is irreversibly damaged. I would think that after having established a personal relationship with the staff and the therapist and having always paid in full on the day of the visit, they could have reached out via email or phone. I'm extremely disappointed with how they treated us. As an update to this review. Over a year later, the collections is the only negative not perfect item on our credit report. Yet because of $112.28 the mortgage we are currently applying for will have a significantly higher rate. Our credit fell from 830 to 690 all because of the incompetency of CSTCs billing department. It is going to cost tens of thousands of dollars in extra interest. Words cannot express my discontent and frustration. read more

Everyone at CSTC is loving, caring, and competent--exactly what the people you want helping your child overcome any speech-related issue. My son has been seeing Ms. Kristen for 7 years, since just after his third birthday. She has helped him make amazing progress over the years--from barely speaking when we started to a successful oral presentation at school just last week. Ms. Kristen is patient, kind, and creative in her approach, always tailoring it for the circumstances and child. She's extremely well-educated and works hard to stay current in her field. My son loves his visits with her each week. We are truly grateful for all her support and help. My son also participated in a social group with Ms. Alicia for several years. His conversational and turn-taking skills improved drastically. Ms. Alicia is fun and playful with the kids and they all adored her. Valerie, the office manager, does a great job too. She's always professional and polite. We've never had a billing issue even once in the last 7 years. I strongly disagree with the other reviews on Yelp. Billing is no problem. HI, The staff here is very horrible,The receptionist was really rude,I have never met such a rude person in this whole world,I think she was responsible for billing too,I would not even give a star for the service,I mean she was too stressed for this job,I honestly feel Cstc should fire her immediately. Now speaking of therapist ,They really dont care for the child,they really care about money,They took all the IEPs but never really care for the child,They will do their duties for name sake.My child didn't get much improvement with the therapy,they don't have clear idea how to engage and do therapy,they didn't have any clear ideas to improve child's speech,my child took therapy for around 6 months,i don't see any improvement in her.They only care about money. read more

We visited Children's Speech Therapies one time to have my daughter evaluated for a tongue tie in 2017 - the visit was fine if not eventful. This review is in regards to their billing department. We never received a bill on a balance owed and we have a flex pay account that typically covers all costs so this is normal. Apparently there was a balance owed and the billing department turned us over to a collections agency for $200 without mailing a bill or trying to call. This is damaging to our credit and completely unprofessional. I do not recommend going here. ***As an update, they reached out to the crediting agency and sent me a receipt for the bill which I paid as soon as I found out about it. It looks like they still have some things to figure out but I appreciated they helped after I complained*** read more

Childrens Speech therapy is the answer I have been looking for for years. Both of my sons had speech IEPs in their local school but we're not progressing. A friend recommended Childrens Speech therapy and it has been a game changer. My boys have worked with different therapists at CST and have enjoyed them all. I would recommend everyone we have worked with. At the moment my youngest is working with Miss Kristen and completely clicks with her. She gives terrific feedback after every session and I have watch my son's confidence blossom under her. My son was stuck in his speech patterns so she has used any and every technique she needed to break his bad habits and teach him good ones. The scheduling and billing have always been easy. Every question I've ever had has gotten answered without any problems. Valerie has been diligent about any insurance issues that might have arisen due to new insurance and changes in co-pay. If you are looking for a professional, caring, welcoming environment for your child to succeed I strongly believe Childrens Speech therapy is the best place around! read more

Billing manager needs to start doing their job correctly Therapists are great, wish their billing team complements them. Tried to bill under incorrect codes....made me run around and had to get it fixed for her. After we left, seven months later I get a letter from collections for $500. From the office manager to my daughters therapist, I just can't sing their praises enough. We started coming here in April for my 3 year old daughters speech delay and in just over 6 months, she is a completely different child. Putting sentences together, expressing herself more, extended vocabulary, I mean it's incredible. Valerie, the office manager, is the best. She makes the siblings and families feel so welcome even when the waiting siblings are loud and crazy. We just love her. Our therapist Ioana, looooove. She sends me resources and what to work on at home which is so so helpful but most importantly, my daughter sees her sessions as play time. She literally runs to Ioana when its her time and always comes out with a smile and a lollipop for her little sister. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
