I have two boys, 2 and 4, and could not be happier with how well they are taken care of. Ms.Elva is my two years olds besty and is such a great teacher to all those little 2s. She takes time and give so much love and attention that he sprints to her room every morning. The kinder crew (Kenzie, Cortlyn, and Cindy)are amazing. They spend so much time planning fun activities for the kids and my four year old sometimes tells me he'd rather be at school than with me (ouch lol). The admin team also deserves a shout out. Deena is bar none the best person Ive ever dealt with in a daycare setting. Professional and sweet and always ready to help. They have so much going for them that I can't possibly fit it in on here, but suffice to say, I will alway recommend them for their team of amazing people and the love they show to our kids. Thank you guys for being the village we need.

I guess you could call her my little "Velcro" baby. She doesn't do well meeting people for the first time as she is a bit shy... at first. As soon as we walk into the facility she was greated with this huge mural of the sea and colorful fishes, she was impressed!!!! "Wow mommy!! Look at the fishy!!!!" Very welcoming impression for her. My husband and I walk her to her class , once she walks in a teacher dancing with the other children in the back walks to the front and greats my daughter. She quickly took her back back off and joined the rest of the kids!!!!! She didn't even say goodbye to us!! Rember, she's my Velcro baby, this is unusual of her.

Being a first time mom with a newborn, i carefully researched every childcare place in the area. The infant room has everything you can imagine to know your little one is safe. Owlet monitors for nap time was a huge plus! Not to mention the cameras you can view on their phone (because who doesnt want to watch their little on a screen all day lol). If you are looking for a childcare facility, i assure you this is the place!

We registered my daughter 8 months in advance of her enrollment date and I spoke with the staff several times throughout that period to discuss paperwork, confirming each time that we were still on for our scheduled enrollment date. Then out of no where they call us to say that they overbooked and we were being dropped. They couldn't guarantee us any enrollment date but just offered to let us wait another 12 months. I feel like this is an absolutely unacceptable business practice. We were essentially wait listed but led to believe we had a guaranteed spot. So we had no Plan B and were forced to look for another daycare last minute and had to accept the first one that had availability with such short notice.

The teachers are caring and build relationships with each of the kids - which they are able to do b/c of the low teacher-to-student ratio. The turnover rate is very low... Most of the teachers who work at LPGL today have been there since my daughter started over 2 1/2 years ago. In addition to the kind and caring staff members, the director is amazing. She will address concerns immediately and is always available to answer questions. I recommend this child care center to everyone I know. The center has a home-like environment and the kids learn so much (including sign language and spanish). I'm very satisfied with this center and highly encourage anyone with young children to check them out! 1/12/15 Update - My daughter went to this child care center until she was 6 years old. The only reason we moved her was because she no longer required full-day care (school age) and we live about 30 minutes away so this day care did not pick up in our school district for after-school care. My sister recently enrolled her 3-year-old daughter here and my sister's infant son will begin in a couple of months. My sister and her husband are already so impressed with the care given here. We are so lucky to have found and had the pleasure of using this child care center for so many years. I continue to refer everyone looking for child care to this center!

I decide to take advantage of this awesome opportunity to determine if I should keep my current membership at a local chain gym. The front desk staff were very friendly and gave us a detailed and informative tour of the facility. The facility is very clean and the amenities are outstanding, with the only exception of not having a sauna. There is a smoothie bar/cafe located within for pre-workout nourishment or refueling and a coffee bar with free coffee. My favorite thing about coming here is the wellness room is never crowded as opposed to chain gyms. It's also a family oriented environment so my kids are able to workout with me as well. There are tv's on every cardio machine with cable which I found is a great way to keep my youngest focused. Disney channel and go, lol! Aside from not having a sauna and steam room, there are no other complaints. Overall this is a wonderful YMCA.

There were a lot of overt religious symbols on display at this YMCA, scriptures on the wall, crosses and figurines. More than I've seen at other locations. It was clean, humble, modest, quiet, it didn't have a lot of the equipment that the downtown location has, was a bit stuffy, but generally not too bad at all.

This is the only place we toured that made us feel comfortable and that our kiddos took well to immediately. I was a stay-at-home mom for two years, so, I was really worried about the transition for my children as well as myself; but all the staff -- Director and Owner's of this location included, were so welcoming and accommodated all of our needs. Since starting, my kids have flourished! Their social skills are great, they learn so much on a regular basis and love the teachers and staff. They get to participate in sensory learning activities where my kids can be kids and are still learning, plus other things like "Fun Fridays" keep things exciting and different. I can't say enough great things about this place! I truly see how much my kids enjoy it and how much the staff reciprocates that back. Other places were pushy and made my kids seem more like a check than something to be cherished. Another thing to note; I can check in/out on my phone in the app but I also get regular updates about my boys (pictures, what they eat/drink, if they need more items like diapers or wipes) so that is really nice and there is another app too peek in and see how they are doing if I feel the need.

My experience is…read morepretty lengthy and I probably won't be able to put everything on here .I'm very particular about where my child would be receiving care and did research had tours of childcare centers in the area. We chose this one as it was new and the classroom for the 2 year old program had a smaller ratio of children compared to others among other things that seemed great on the outside. Registered and filled out all required paperwork turned in a week in advance that included an all about me page to inform the teachers of my child's likes/dislikes etc..Come start day MONDAY March 7, complete chaos from the time I tried to enter the building. Walked down to her room 5 go in and kids are just running around toys everywhere no organization just complete chaos! A kid had an area rug pulled up and was underneath it another had a large plastic table on its side and another kid was laying on top of a play kitchen set. I also observed a pen and pencil in hands reach on the table with an iPad that was all next to the little sink the kids use. I then ask if my child has a cubby for all her things as this was her first day they should have been prepared for her first day and had a cubby the teacher ms Cynthia or Cindy came over and says no we don't so she just takes the bag of diapers and wipes her nap mat I have and shoves them in a cubby she finally introduces her self and the other teacher ms deserea and then asks me if there is anything they need to know about my child! I filled out a full front and back page telling them all about my child! They had no clue she was starting or who she was! I proceed back up to the front after leaving my child I should have just left right then! I tell the lady at the front what I just experienced and her answer was "It must be the weather " . What an excuse. I get on the camera app and see kids running all around I don't see any teachers paying attention or interacting with the kids still just chaos. The lady up front goes in the room I can see her getting the kids to sit at the tables they get shaving cream out and the kids are all smearing it all over the tables and themselves this is mens shaving cream( my child smells of it when I picked her up I know ) so now my child goes up to one teacher looks as if she is upset she doesn't like it on her hands that teacher just blew her off so she walks over to the other teacher and she picks her up under both arms and swings her over to the chair plops her in it and pushes it up to the table! I'm watching this all unfold on camera so I'm pissed . I go right back in ask to talk to the director Ms Monica just explained everything that happened and all I could get was I'm sorry ! Totally unacceptable no one will treat my child like that ! Also you can only login a certain amount of times before it tells you you can't log back in til the next day for camera access! No one told me that on the tour! I took my child out this all happened in just an hour I can only imagine what else goes on all damn day ! I can't get in touch with the owners either no number for Kayla or Michael Dority to inform them what's going on at their childcare facility. The staff needs to go through more training of how to comfort and direct a child that's upset . My child has never been in childcare she has been home with me for 2 years. She was so happy and excited to start and play with other kids and this experience completely ruined it for her! So if you are the owners and reading this how about you reach out and call me! Ask your director ms Monica about my experience. Actually Kayla you called me from the childcare center the week before we started so I have spoken to you before .

Owners Ori and Kristina are incredibly dedicated, attentive, loving, and communicate with us really well. They are always open to hear our wishes and wants and also our corrective feedback. At Wholesome Beginnings, they make us feel like part of their family. Our son's day is planned with a variety of activities that keep him busy and learning at the same time. It shows that he has lots of fun, he always comes home with a story to share! We truly enjoy the pictures and videos we receive throughout the day. It gives us peace of mind knowing our little one is happy, having fun, and doing great while we're at work. In the past year, I have toured many childcare facilities, and Wholesome Beginnings clearly stood out from all the others. Not only do they provide a genuinely warm learning environment, but they also provide excellent nutrition. One of the most unique qualities of Wholesome Beginnings is the fresh organic homemade meals and snacks that are prepared daily. Like no other daycare out there, they offer a Wholesome Nutrition Plan with individual tailoring for your child's unique biochemistry. We are greatly impressed by the knowledge Ori and Kristina have about nutrition. And how they are willing to educate the family on how to create healthy meals. Our son enjoys eating his veggies like never before! We are extremely blessed to have found Wholesome Beginnings (a second home) for our son. We highly recommend Wholesome Beginnings, a one of a kind childcare. Thank you Ori and Kristina for all you do!
