Did a tour of this pediatrician office and was very pleased with how nice it was. The exam rooms…read morewere clean and the waiting room was very nice. The doctor who did our tour let us know that the practice manager was very good about having sick apts open every day as well as new born apts. The only thing missing was a separate waiting area for sick kids. The doctor who did our tour let us know that when a sick child does comes in they are taken to an exam room quickly to reduce exposure to the healthy kids in the waiting room. We feel lucky to have such a nice practice within 15 mins of our home!

We had been going to OP since the birth of our son about 18 months ago when we had Blue Cross/Blue…read moreShield insurance. We both lost our jobs due to COVID in March and switched to Meridian (medicaid). I was happily surprised to see OP accepted our new insurance. We received an email saying that the flu vaccines are in, and to make an appointment right away. I called, stated my name, and the receptionist said "You have Meridian Insurance? We do not have any flu vaccines in right now, we will email you when we get some in." I was confused and said "Oh, I just received an email saying to make an appointment?" Receptionist #1 said "Oh... hold on." and gives me to receptionist #2 who tells me "Hi, I am sorry about the email. We do not have any flu shots available for medicaid patients, and we do not know when we will have any in. The flu shots are only available for our other patients." WOW I get it, businesses have to make money. That isn't my issue. My issue is that they have different treatment plans - UNKNOWN to their patients - based on your insurance. When they said they didn't have any, I didn't question it at all, like many of their trusting parents, I am sure. They could have simply said they were low on flu shots and recommended going to a Rite-Aid so that you were following the same treatment they were recommending for their other patients - BABIES - during a PANDEMIC. Flu shots aren't hard to come by, they really don't need to deceive people because they want to prioritize people with insurance. The receptionists are following the direction of the doctors and owners of the practice. It is a shame that this is the country that we live in, and it makes me so sad that not everyone child is given the same advice and access to care. And don't accept medicaid patients if you are secretly going to have different treatment plans to maximize a buck. These are babies and children here. So sad.

It's obvious we LOVE this place. From the amazing rooms each decorated differently, to each person…read moreat the front desk (hey ladies !!), the awesome nurses (Kelsey either likes us a lot or just gets lucky), to the awesome doctors! We've almost seen every doctor due to some issues with my daughter at birth, each doctor has been awesome and treated us just like family! My son is 2.5 and my daughter just turned 1. You can see in the pictures how kick my baby girl loves this place and particularly the outer space room :-) One of the biggest comforts for me is knowing that I can always reach someone even with the office is closed! For that I'm very thankful. Also, I love that someone actually answers the phone. Seriously we Love this place and I recommend any and every day !!

I would not recommend this office because of the billing department and poor communication…read more We scheduled our daughter's 4-year wellness visit months in advance as a preventive wellness check. After the visit and follow-up, we were billed $602.49, and I still have not received a clear explanation for why a scheduled wellness visit was billed/processed in a way that left us with significant deductible charges instead of being covered by insurance. They do not let you call the billing department, so I first emailed billing about the issue on April 22. After no response, I followed up on May 1. After still not receiving an answer, I emailed again on May 12 just asking them to acknowledge they were receiving my emails. They finally responded on May 13, saying the issue had been sent to upper management and resubmitted to insurance. I had to follow up again on June 2 before receiving another brief response. At no point did I receive a clear itemized explanation or a direct answer to my main question: why was a pre-scheduled 4-year wellness visit not billed as a preventive wellness visit? At this point, I am out this money unless I pursue formal legal options to recover it. And now I need to find a new pediatrician as I would be stupid to work with this people again.
