We've almost seen every doctor due to some issues with my daughter at birth, each doctor has been awesome and treated us just like family! My son is 2.5 and my daughter just turned 1. You can see in the pictures how kick my baby girl loves this place and particularly the outer space room :-) One of the biggest comforts for me is knowing that I can always reach someone even with the office is closed! After the visit and follow-up, we were billed $602.49, and I still have not received a clear explanation for why a scheduled wellness visit was billed/processed in a way that left us with significant deductible charges instead of being covered by insurance. They do not let you call the billing department, so I first emailed billing about the issue on April 22. After no response, I followed up on May 1. After still not receiving an answer, I emailed again on May 12 just asking them to acknowledge they were receiving my emails. They finally responded on May 13, saying the issue had been sent to upper management and resubmitted to insurance. I had to follow up again on June 2 before receiving another brief response. At no point did I receive a clear itemized explanation or a direct answer to my main question: why was a pre-scheduled 4-year wellness visit not billed as a preventive wellness visit? At this point, I am out this money unless I pursue formal legal options to recover it. And now I need to find a new pediatrician as I would be stupid to work with this people again.

The doctor spent time with my kids and was not in a huge rush to get to the next patient, which was nice. Also the wait time was not bad at all. I came across this office based on recommendations from a mom's group, and they were right! Would recommend to anyone.

They saw my son in the hospital when he was born back in March, and we've continued to see them for his well visits, vaccines, and sick times. They're so wonderful about getting me in ASAP when I'm concerned about something. I've been able to come in within the hour of calling (which I may have just gotten lucky... Not sure) I'm so pleased at the extra time the dr.'s take when I'm asking questions. I never feel rushed out the door. They ask me questions, building a rapport with me and my son. The office is very clean, the receptionists and nurses are very kind and caring, and I definitely give this pediatric office my stamp of approval.

The doctor who did our tour let us know that the practice manager was very good about having sick apts open every day as well as new born apts. The only thing missing was a separate waiting area for sick kids. The doctor who did our tour let us know that when a sick child does comes in they are taken to an exam room quickly to reduce exposure to the healthy kids in the waiting room. We feel lucky to have such a nice practice within 15 mins of our home!

Dr Yono-Atisha has been so supportive from our initial consultation before birth to our now 9 months of regular checks, weight checks, and sick visits. We always felt heard and well responded to in our worries. The office has an after hours call line which was very peace assuring when needed. Also easy to schedule and have not had any problems with payment or insurance. Overall VERY happy with this office and Dr Rhonda Yono-Atisha as my son's pediatrician.

That was at least another 20 minutes. This is no good when you have two under three. Not fun for anyone! The rooms aren't super clean either. He was misdiagnosed because the doctor did not ask the right questions and did not listen to the symptoms I listed. I am the one who figured out what the problem was. When I told the nurse what I thought was wrong with my son, she laughed at me. Turns out, I was correct. Now that we go to a new pediatrician, I learned that this office also missed another medical issue with my son. We are working on getting a diagnosis of ADHD, working with his school social worker and a therapist, so the missing piece was a local pediatrician (we moved recently from Ann Arbor and the drive wasn't feasible). I chose a place that accepted my insurance, and was recommended by a lady at Beaumont. I had an appointment yesterday with Dr. Eastman, and was pleasantly surprised! He was telling corny jokes, and was super personable to my son, who is exceptionally anxious about doctor's appointments. He answered all of my questions, and the the support staff was amazing as well. I feel like we have made a solid choice in choosing this facility, and I know better than to read Yelp! reviews and take them too much to heart. My fiance is a chef and runs a restaurant...these things are not always the most honest ways to find out information. I say, make your own decisions and base your opinions off from those.
