I was like what do you mean? I have to pay the same amount for October and November even though he will only be in care for 3 days of October? She said yeah I was really hoping you wouldn't have started until the 1st to avoid that extra payment. I said ok well why didn't you tell me that? And she said she didn't realize it til after I already dropped him off. So I said ok so does everyone have a different payment date? She said no they are always due on the 1st.. so that means she knew that when I first called, when I came for the tour, and on the morning of the 28th when he was dropped off but chose to withhold this info until it was too late. I felt betrayed and tricked. She said, well just pay for November and we will see if we can just fight the state on the other payment. I called the state who said it was up to the daycare.

I can honestly say this school has been one of the biggest blessings for our family. The progress my daughter has made in reading, writing, confidence, and communication has been incredible. What stands out the most to me is how much the school truly focuses not only on the children, but also on the families. Even though there are several students in each classroom, the organization, education, and individual attention given to every child is phenomenal. The teachers and staff genuinely listen to the needs of each student and family, and that level of care is something very special and rare to find. As a mother who previously had a very negative experience with another school with my older child, finding Discovery completely changed my perspective and restored my trust in what a school community should feel like. Unfortunately, when I moved to this area, my older son was already too old to attend this school, and I truly wish he could have experienced the same environment my daughter has had here. One of the things I appreciate most is how they work hard to keep children active and involved, especially for families who may not have the resources for expensive extracurricular activities. The after-school activities, family events, flag football, choir practice, singing activities, and the way they bring families together create such a beautiful sense of community. The parents have gotten to know one another, the children create strong friendships, and the environment feels welcoming and supportive for everyone. My daughter is always happy to go to school, and at the same time, she is already sad knowing that next school year will be her last year here. That alone says so much about the love and connection this school creates for its students. I wanted to be one of the first people to leave a review for Discovery because this school deserves recognition for the amazing work they do every single day. She is uniquely gifted at working with young children and creates a warm, loving classroom where Every child is nurtured and loved. The classroom is super clean and bright and full of wonderful, enriching activities-kids literally get to do everything from computers to carpentry! Mrs.Eakin has specifically designed the curriculum to help children with both social and academic skills. My two boys are as different as can be, but they both Thrived at Mountain View. Within a month he was writing his full name without any help. I am extremely pleased with the care, curriculum, and learning. My son loves the school and all of the teachers, in fact, he gets upset when I come to pick him up early. This is classified as a pre-school in my eyes. Little Giggles truly cares about the children and their development. Something for them to be very proud of. Great communication and follow up with parents. We love Building Memories. My son loves Building Memories. Over the past 5 plus years, they have…read moretaken such good care of my son. When he came to them at the age of three, he couldn't even crawl, let alone walk due to brain cancer. The staff there embraced our whole family, and took incredible care of our son, and still does! Kim always made sure there is adequate staffing when he comes because of his special needs. I can always be confident that he is safe and being taken care of very well. Kim and her staff have gone out of their way, time and time again to go above and beyond in making my son feel like he is a part of the Building Memories family. I owe a great deal of credit to Kim and her staff for encouraging Isaiah along the way as he finally learned to walk. It was during Covid that Kim kept her doors open and tried to make it as normal a learning and growing environment as possible, and I truly believe this played a huge part in my son's growth. He thrived during this time and ultimately took his first steps since being diagnosed. Now he walks around that place like he owns it...and many thanks goes to Kim and her staff for loving and caring for my son so much. I can't imagine sending him anywhere else.
