As a 2nd Grade teacher, I value her on-going early childhood education. She knows what is developmentally appreciate for the children and helps enhance their physical, social, emotional, language and cognitive skills. My whole family and I are impressed with the things our children come home knowing. We also admire her Christian values as well. We actually volunteered with Stephanie at church for a while before we found out we were expecting. As soon as we found out we asked her if she had a opening because we knew she rarely did, and if she did they went fast. We love Ms. Stephanie as she is one of the biggest blessings in our life!We will not move, and I will not change school districts until my kids start school because I wouldn't feel as secure with my children anywhere else.

I transparently informed Dee(the owner) about my daughter's developmental and verbal delays (she is Autistic). Dee assured me she had worked with children with delays in the past. At home we'd been working with an SLP & OT, who thought my daughter would benefit from exposure to her peers, as she hadn't been around other kids due to COVID. -When I dropped her off she was so happy! Dee wasn't there, her husband was. What he relayed about what I said/did or didn't say/do is beyond my control. I did remove my daughter from the 18 in tall table she hopped on. Less than 3 hours later, Dee text me asking if there was another way to communicate that climbing on the table was not okay. I called our occupational therapist we've been working with to see if she had suggestions. While on the phone, Dee text again telling me my daughter was no longer welcome at her facility because she crawled out of the pack and play provided for children still in cribs. I believe Ike cribs would be more suitable/safer for a childcare facility w/ 12 kids under 4 and a staff of 3-4. When I told our OT about the text I received, she remarked, 'A childcare professional should know it takes more than 3 hours for a child to adapt to new routines & expectations. It takes about 2 weeks! You need to get her out of that place!'" -Climbing is a superpower for development! It's a critical activity as climbing helps in developing gross motor skills, coordination, and balance. For toddlers, activities like climbing small structures or soft play areas are ideal. -I picked her up three hours after I had dropped her off. My daughter's shoes were on the doormat, and her bag was at the door. Dee said, "She is so busy, woof." I said nothing and gathered my daughter and her stuff. Dee said, "she just climbed right out of that playpen." I left without a word, irate that a "professional" was shaming my toddler for....being a toddler. -Later in a text, Dee explained that she did not have enough staff (her two daughters and her husband) for "one child could never be looked away from..." THREE HOURS. Dee has ZERO formal early childhood education, which might help her understand that a 2-year-old who has never been in a social situation/daycare because of a pandemic is unlikely to adapt to new social norms/rules immediately. Had she given my daughter a few days, she would have been able to follow the routine and expectations. -Dee Hubert kicked my autistic 2 year old out of her facility for doing activities that are normal and healthy for a 2 year old. I do NOT recommend this facility. I thought the hefty price tag (which is more than a private daycare in DuPont) was worth it because of the smaller size and play-based structure. My daughter doesn't bite, pinch, hit, kick or push and was likely busy because she was excited about all of the new stimuli. -Ms. Hubert had to post her response to my review of her business twice because her first response used my 2-year-old's full name, which is against the law. As a state-licensed child care facility owner, Ms. Hubert knows what COPPA laws are. She blatantly broke child internet safety laws. I asked Ms. Hubert via voicemail and text to take my minor child's name off the Internet. She ignored me, so I reported it to Yelp, who removed her response immediately. ****The most heartbreaking part of all of this is that in retaliation to my 1-star review, Ms. Hubert reported me to Child Protection Services (CPS) for abuse and neglect. She only reported me, not my husband, which indicates that Ms. Hubert reported me not out of legitimate concern but with lies that I could prove were untrue and would have won a lawsuit for Defamation. I was able to provide CPS with all correspondence between Ms. Hubert and myself, which proved that Ms. Hubert filed a deceitful, malicious, fraudulent report. This made me so angry because I had poured all my mental, emotional, and physical energy into my daughter and her delays. I was livid that Dee intentionally tied up CPS's time from children who legitimately needed their help. Dee knew what she was doing, and what we would have to go through. My oldest daughter sobbed begging me not to let them take her away from them. Dee knew that I would stay in the CPS system for 6 years. 12/4/21: Our caseworker called and told me that they had found no evidence of abuse or neglect. She said that her and her supervisor knew it was a fraudulent report the moment they received it, but by law they had to do an investigation. Then she asked me to be a Court Appointed Child Advocate. She had seen my integrity and selflessness and said they needed people like me.

Within a month he was writing his full name without any help. I am extremely pleased with the care, curriculum, and learning. My son loves the school and all of the teachers, in fact, he gets upset when I come to pick him up early. This is classified as a pre-school in my eyes. Little Giggles truly cares about the children and their development. Something for them to be very proud of. Great communication and follow up with parents. Every evening when picking him up at 5:30pm, there would be black stuff caked underneath his nails without fail and I've had to clip each nail to get under there to scrub it out using a toothbrush. How in the world does a child get this filthy?? He's been in other daycare facilities and play classes and has never come home this filthy before. Additionally, my son lost an expensive pair of pants there that we received as a gift from Japan. I had hoped to use it for my next child but it got lost at Little Giggles Daycare somewhere amidst the many overflowing bins of list and found items stuffed in a back room. When I had asked my son's morning teacher, Mrs. K. J if I could take a look at the bins to see if the jeans happened to be there, I was met with a strange hostility which was surprising since I had never had prior interaction with her before. I felt like I was a child being reprimanded for asking to look for my child's missing items and she was not preoccupied teaching a class so I didn't feel as though I was interrupting anything. Other times, my child's winter coat and socks have been thrown haphazardly onto bookcases in an adjacent room or sloppily thrown into another child's cubby box. There seems to be little organization of children's belongings and class projects and little regard in keeping belongings separate which I personally feel is a bad example to follow. My son has also learned to say things like " go away" while attending this daycare which he never used to say. However, my largest concern with this daycare is the lack of communication between parents and teachers/director of little giggles. I was discouraged from just showing up on a random visit to see how my child was adjusting and learning when I had expressed interest in sitting in on a classroom visit. When picking up my son one evening, I was approached by K.J to stay to speak with her abouty sons progress in class ( my son is two and a half) and when I told her we had evening reservations at a restaurant where our relatives were already waiting, I was told, "well, if you don't care about your child's performance in school..." Who says that to a parent when first meeting them? Aren't teachers and parents on the same team? I then explained explained that o never received a memo or email from the school about a parent teacher meeting and was not prepared his evening having had a prior engagement. I then told krista that I would be happy to meet another day that week in which mrs K.J. replied that there was no other time we could meet since this was the only time available for her class. I brought a parent questionnaire back to this teacher and hand delivered it to her the next day filled with info about my child's learning curve, tendencies and temperament as well as a baby resume of all the classes my son has attended from the time he was 5 months old. I did this to show this teacher that I did in fact, care a lot about my sons education because she was so obviously not convinced. I have now placed my son in a Montessori school and I'm hoping our experience there will be different in a better way.
