The story of Childhelp is about two young Hollywood actresses' "chance" encounters, one with 11 homeless orphans abroad, and one with Nancy Reagan, and how they led to a lifelong commitment to helping children in need. The goal of CCCA is to provide medical treatment, mental health therapy, efficient investigational resources, and victim support services to address the immediate safety and complete well-being of children who are referred to the center. For me, I have three children close in age and for a time there was concern due to anxiety during my divorce. My counselor and I felt the stress of parents separating was the issue. Childhelp has classes for children that help them learn boundaries and cope with imbalances. The children loved the classes and the counseling they received. Childhelp is such a wonderful organization. The work they do to fight and treat child abuse is phenomenal. I am so glad to find a organization that I feel good about donating to because the lives they are saving. I was lucky to be able to chat with one of their reps while running errands and they were so caring and helpful. With over 92.8 cents donated to Childhelp going to the kids, I decided to complete the 5toomany challenge, which raises awareness for the statistic. A couple of years ago I was approached by a man in a Zoe's Kitchen and asked to purchase a backpack full of supplies for a child in need. As former nonprofit worker who, too, also worked hard for my organization to fund and supply backpacks to children in need, happily a obliged to buy a backpack, however I didn't have cash. "We take card!" I was told. What I was not told was that I was not buying a backpack, but agreeing to monthly reoccurring charges. Now keep in mind, I do not come from money nor have expendable income to donate on a monthly basis. So now, Childhelp, has taken advantage of me. Ironic, considering your organization of founded on ideals of assisting children in need, but doing so by robbing innocent young women like myself. I'm disgusted by your practices. As I mentioned, I worked hard to raise money for backpacks as well. The difference between you and me? I'm honest. I would never deceive my donors. Childhelp is the reason people are reluctant to donate to charities; people are distrusting and now I am too. You hurt your cause by robbing innocent people of hard earned money, using innocent children for your own financial gain. Your actions hurt other honest charities. I have read I am not the only one this has happen to. Please refund all of my money, besides the ONE payment I authorized. I will take every action necessary until I receive my money. Kidnappers!!!!!!!! Don't take your children here for help they will separate you and the children put them in a room full of toys and lock the door so they can't get out!!!! They will interview your minors without your permission and tape it and also do sexual abuse physical exams on minors without your consent. They will also interview you and tape it as well with their twisted questions these people are professional trained child thieves . If anyone refers you to childhelp don't go and call your attorney immediately and don't disclose anything. I discovered that my daughters were being abused by there older brother he was 15 years old and my daughters were 5 years old and 7 years old. After I Initially Reported the Incident to the PPD on October 20th, 2008, which was the day my 5 year old told me the PPD referred us to childhelp because the PPD told me that they do not handle sibling sexual abuse cases. I never heard of Childhelp before, I thought to myself they could help us because I was desperate to help my children. My family moved to Arizona in 1995. Agencies like Childhelp should Advertise more to the General Public because I am a Mom and My Children and I use to participate in several activities out in the community, and we were always out in the community marketing our businesses As a small business owner I have to network in order to generate leads so with that being said, I have never seen any Childhelp.org logos on any daycare bulletin boards, flyers, mailings, television, or the internet. Just visiting childhelp.org's website shows tons of information on how to detect sibling sexual abuse. It also states that sibling sexual abuse is much more harder to detect and recognize then sexual abuse initiated by a stranger. Unfortunately the information came to my families attention too late. They also offered family sexual abuse classes which my family should have been referred to after this tragedy. Instead of childhelp helping my family upon arrival they decided to steal my children instead that way they could produce billable hours and make profit from my children's tragedy and trauma and cause more chaos. The goal here was to separate and break up Black Families just so they can Produce Income from my children's sexual abuse which brought lots of work and billable work hours for AZDES and all of the Agencies and staff involved in the CFT's. These people do not Love or care about my Children. Jason Keith was the worker I was placed with upon arrival. He recommended the separation of my family instead of offering us services to help us together so we could heal from the tragedy. This occurred many years ago and since then I never got my children back and CPS separated my children. The worker over my case was Rebecca C. Ohton and she was immediately promoted after I lost my case. One of my children was never adopted because she wanted to be with me and she ended up being placed in over 15 foster homes. Childhelp is truly one of the best organizations I've had the pleasure to donate to and work with. They've done wonderful things in the 60 years since being founded. I've had the honor to attend their Galas and even see the amazing centers they have in Arizona and California. What they do for the kids is phenomenal and I've gotten to see first hand all of the resources they have available for these kids. This company is frustrating and deceiving. My one-time payment turned into more when I did not receive an email allowing me to decline further payments. Searching for their formation was time consuming and when I finally got a phone number, I had to leave a message. I will not donate to this company again. read more

Do not donate. Even if it is a one time donation they will continue to take your money each month or every other month, really whenever they feel like it. I am closing my bank account because I can't get them to cancel it. A one time donation turned into 8 times that amount. A disgusting company to be sure. read more
