Need to know - Two permanent spots. One offers drinks, including wine, craft beer (rotating brewery of four taps), and other NA options. The current brewery is New Terrain. They will be changing this up periodically. The other is Simply Pizza, which offers wood fired pizza. Ask about their daily specialty pizza! They also sell soda. The other spots within the park are rotating! So, you could go everyday and enjoy different cuisine from many of the amazing food trucks in Denver!! Follow their Instagram (run.Westy.run) for the schedule of trucks. Good to know - parking is FREE in the RTD station! You can also bring your pup (we all know how much Coloradans love their doggies). My expectations weren't super high because I have been disappointed in the past, but they showed up on time, prepped, and were ready to rock at "go time." Their setup was fantastic. Service was organized and they were popping out meals left and right. Most importantly, though - the food was freaking fantastic! So good, in fact, that I want to find them in the wild so I can try their other menu items. ( our company footed the bill so we had limited options.). Over the last year and a half, I've noticed the food quality really decline. I hadn't been back in almost a year, but my sons convinced me to give it another try tonight. Unfortunately, we were all disappointed. The karaage chicken was hard as a rock and overcooked. The katsudon was also way overcooked and lacked flavor. The only thing that was okay was the shrimp shumai. Service was rough too. Our table wasn't pre-bussed, and we felt pretty ignored. When the waitress did ask how it was and I told her she then just wanted to argue with me about the chicken being well done and not even edible and I even showed her I couldn't even eat it. Wasn't even chewable. It was so cooked. It's just so sad to see how far this place has fallen. I really hope they can turn it around because having a good Japanese restaurant nearby meant a lot to us.
