That being said, the negatives that I have are purely coming from a sanitation perspective, as I am also a New York State licensed waxer. Never once have I seen a single technician wear a pair of gloves. That is New York State law. I also can say with confidence that every single time the technician picks up Wax on a stick, she blows on it with her mouth, which is also against New York State law. No one has ever put pressure on the freshly waxed skin, which is a technique that I was personally taught in school, but make sure that I practice while working to ensure the least amount of pain for my clients. Lastly, this is more of a personal issue, but I feel no matter what time of day I come into the salon, whoever works on me has just eaten a meal and I have to hold my breath because of the odor being exhaled directly into my face. Overall, I think that the salon is conveniently located, and appears to be beautiful- the staff is very kind, but sanitation practices are not consistent at all.

For the cost, my eyebrows came out okay. Unfortunately, there were several downsides. The shop was quite hot despite having ceiling fans running, and I received a small cut on my upper eyelid during the threading. I also felt the service became rushed when another customer arrived. The procedure was more painful than other threading experiences I've had, and I was required to keep my head tilted back at an uncomfortable angle with no real neck support. When I stood up afterward, I became extremely dizzy and actually staggered a bit. What disappointed me most was that there seemed to be little concern for how I was feeling, as the focus appeared to be more on completing the transaction than checking on my well-being. Overall, you get what you pay for. The prices are inexpensive and the results were acceptable, but I've had much better eyebrow threading experiences elsewhere. 3 stars.

I found out that this location is one of the few corporate locations which means it is not part of the franchise. I had noticed that it is a lot more beautiful than the other franchise locations including the decor and the special lighting. That's in the rooms. it definitely feels more luxurious than the other locations I booked the laser package for full legs for $1800 and was absolutely blown away by the new technology that they had purchased. I knew that EWC was going to invest in the most new and highest advanced technology available for laser. It uses a nitro system, which felt like there was cold puffs of water being sprayed onto my legs, it was for the most part painless. I can't wait to see the results of these sessions, and I also want to continue working in for my full arms and under arms.

Save your money and time- avoid…read more I had an appointment here in April. There were two ladies working there. One was on the phone chatting the entire time. I found out that during the eyelash process, the second lady came up to my face with no mask on (this was in April when mandates were still in place). I was fairly satisfied with my eyelashes and decided to come back to give them a second chance. When I called to make an appointment, the same lady said she is available at 9 or at 12, but she wanted to take lunch at 12. So I said sure I'll come at 9. She told me twice to make sure I am showing up because she is coming in early for me. At 8:30 (30 min before the appointment), she texts me saying she completely forgot. She then called me and told me to come at 1 PM. I came by and she clearly just started someone else and told me it'll be about 30 minutes. They never reached out to me to reschedule or try to make this right. This place is anything but professional.
