She is wonderful! She is educated and handles complex patients without turning them away, and even does many of her procedures in-office now whereas years ago I had to do outpatient day surgery. I trust her, and since she has worked on me so many times I have recommended her to friends and even my partner sees her now for his snoring (I also sent his brother to her for a similar issue and he loved her too and had the procedure done very quickly). The only downside is the stuff you see with most large practices these days: TERRIBLE patient portals (why do they make these things so awful - even the doctors complain about them!), playing telephone with a bunch of receptionists and MA's so by the time a nurse or your doc calls you back the actual message is completely different and they're confused, and booking out appointments with an extended wait time to see YOUR doctor vs. whomever is available all over the state when you need to see them for an emergency (though that last bit is a little better now as she is once again able to set aside time for emergency patients and you can get an appt. within 2 weeks vs. many months if you have, say, an ear infection or something). There are also weird billing issues between wherever their billing center - which may be outsourced now, I dunno - and communications between the offices. Also, if you need to contact the office outside of normal business hours they do have on-call docs who rotate, but getting through to the answering service can take forever. However, if you need a good ENT with a great sense of humor, who is not afraid of working with patients with rare diseases, chronic illnesses, etc. who has one of the best bedside manners I've ever experienced, Dr. Bryan is who you should go see. Plus she also takes Medicare if that is something you require - though make sure to check first as I'm not sure if they still accept NEW patients with Medicare after all the changes in 2025.

Went the next day and saw the PA. She indicated some redness in one ear but prescribed no drops. When we tried to get a new appt or at least have a script called in, that did not happen. All in all a huge disappointment not only in the office staff but the PA as well.

I have always believed there are 2 types of doctors. There are those with a wait and see approach,…read moreand those with a let's rule it out approach. Dr. Viet Pham is one who believes in ruling out issues. My wife went to another otolaryngologist about 30 days prior to seeing Dr. Pham, who ordered a CT Scan with Contrast. After the results showed fluid in her mastoid, he saw her, and reviewed the results in a rather rushed and cavalier manner. He felt she should go home, have therapy, and come back in 2 months. Keep in mind, my wife had been already been complaining about being incredibly dizzy, having headaches, fatigue, nausea, and a feeling of fullness in her left ear for over three months prior to seeing her first otolaryngologist. We felt that the first specialist was not really interested in addressing her issues and taking her complaints seriously. Because of that, we made an appointment with Dr. Pham who we had the great fortune to find on the internet. Our visit with Dr. Pham was handled professionally and purposefully. He listened intently, asked cogent questions, and was incredibly warm, genuine, knowledgeable, and most importantly felt that her issues should be addressed right away. He initially thought he could help her by taking a camera scope through her sinuses, and possibly a eustachian tube dilation, and an ear tube if the scope confirmed what he thought was her issue. However, he felt it was necessary to rule out one thing prior to that. He wanted to make sure she didn't have a cranial fluid leak, so he immediately ordered a CT Scan without contrast. He explained that a cranial fluid leak was rare, but should be ruled out prior to any procedures. Unfortunately, the CT Scan without contrast showed that my wife did indeed have a cranial fluid leak that needed to be addressed right away. He immediately scheduled a follow up exam and explained that this should be corrected as soon as possible, due to the increased risk of contracting Meningitis if it wasn't corrected, in addition to being absolutely miserable with the symptoms mentioned. While Dr. Pham couldn't help my wife with the procedure to correct this. He was able to point her in the right direction and she was able to get the operation she needed to correct this just 3 weeks ago. I don't know what might have happened if we hadn't seen Dr. Pham. He is a phenomenal doctor, and we recommend him very highly. I can't imagine anybody being disappointed with Dr. Pham!

The main thing that stood out about Dr. Pham is he adheres very strictly to informed consent. He explained everything he planned on doing to treat me, what medications he wanted to prescribe, what the potential side effects were, what the probability was of success, and the potential timeline of treatment. When he administered steroid injections into my affected ear, he did it with precision. The first injection caused mild pain, and all additional injections were absolutely painless. This was far better than the "Best of D" magazine ENT I had been seeing. Dr. Pham may be young, but he is outstanding. I absolutely hate doctors, but he is excellent. If you need an ENT, Dr. Pham should be top of list for consideration.

Since most of the issues are conditions I just have to live with, I have in recent years treated myself with OTC remedies and such. But the issues finally piled up to the point that I needed to see an ENT. My previous ENT, who was wonderful, had become so busy, I would't be able to get in to see him for almost three months. So I have begun looking for someone with a more open schedule. I read about Dr. Wyatt and saw good things written about him, so I checked with my PCP and he referred me to him, got me in in about two weeks and today was my big day. I filled out the paperwork in about 25 minutes, which was the most detailed I remember ever seeing, and went to the office , arriving about 15 minutes early. Upon checking in, I was given two additional forms by the receptionist, which had to do with several unscheduled procedures that might have to be performed during any given visit if the doctor considered them medically necessary. I was instructed to authorize the doctor to perform these procedures before I had even met him. When I asked the receptionist if that was their usual protocol, she said, I'm sorry, but you were here just fifteen minutes before your appointment. We don't have time for questions like this right now. We will have to reschedule or cancel your appointment if you want discussions about things like that. I was taken aback, but I really wanted to be seen, so I took a little bit different line of questioning and said, "Well, could you at least give me a ballpark figure about what these procedures might cost me (after Medicare and BC/BS)? I don't feel comfortable authorizing charges for unknown procedures when the staff cannot even estimate what the charges might be. It seemed like I was walking in to a used car dealership and asked to sign a sales contract for an unknown car at an unknown sales price with undetermined terms. I could go on, but I won't. And neither will I return to his office.

As far as quality of care, Dr. Gamble was arrogant and insulting to me. I told him I had sleep apnea and asked if the breathing machine could be causing the irritation and bleeding I was having. The inside of my nose was raw and I had tiny pieces of what appeared to be cartilage in the blood. He told me to stop picking my nose and use a cream he prescribed. I don't pick my nose but I did use the cream according to his directions. I returned for follow up with my husband to let him see that his suggestions were not working. He spoke to me in a very condescending manner and insulted me by insisting that I was picking my nose. At the time of the second visit, I no longer had insurance, being in a waiting period for new insurance. By this time I was having considerable pain and there seemed to be a lot of erosion in my left nostril. He said I would need surgery but we would have to wait until my insurance "kicked in". He was very cavalier, as if it was my problem and refused to put me on a payment plan. I went to another ENT in Frisco who determined that I needed nasal reconstruction. He performed the surgery and found a polyp which he biopsied. It was cancerous. I had radiation treatment and follow-up. Thankfully, I left Dr.Gamble and sought out another doctor. Who needs an arrogant, insulting, and disinterested doctor like Dr. Gamble? I have healed and have checkups to stay healthy.

I was referred to and advised that Collin County ENT would take Tri-Care. Truth is that they do take Tri-Care and it is in network, but only as a secondary insurance, not a primary insurance (According to the receptionist that I spoke to it is office dependent, so they can make their own rules). So, what do veterans do when they do not have additional insurance? I think this is a very poor stance when your duties are to help. You only help when it benefits you as the Doctor. What a work-around to allow this organization to charge more for service. I know that doctors who support military veterans take more of a loss. It's a given but when you say you do but there's a catch, you are just spitting in the face of those who served to allow you to skate around the issue of possibly taking less money for the same payment. This is just so frustrating to know that I pay a lot for my military "Tri-Care Prime" insurance. More than most who may be transiting through this office (if they pay anything at all) but only to be told your second rate. Pathetic! I'm sure you have the ability to find my name. After I was sent back I was informed that it would be another 20-30 minutes before I saw the doctor. At this point I elected to get up and leave. I was asked if I wanted to call back to reschedule to which I declined. They obviously have too many patients if the wait times are this lengthy. I'm sure from the other review that they are fine doctors especially considering the patient load but to have this experience is rude and dis-courteous. I wouldn't dream of showing up to any appointment late like this.
