This was my first time visiting this restaurant and it exceeded my expectations! The food was amazing, the portions are huge, and the service was great. Our server was Valeria, she was so sweet and attentive! Will definitely recommend and will come back to grab their lunch special

Not a place I would go to again with just my wife. The portions are huge and we like to try lots of different things. When we do come back we will have to bring some friends. We started out with some eggrolls and special wonton soup. The eggrolls were okay but the soup, it was fantastic! Next we had a small order of special fried rice, it was enough for four people. But more important was how good it was. We also beef and veggies over noodles. Also an enormous amount and very good. We finished it off with a rather large plate of fried chicken in a lemon sauce. The best thing about it was the lemon sauce. The flavor was incredibly good. Leftovers! We plenty of them. Other then the service was a little bit slow in the beginning and they dont have a soda fountain, and use can sodas, we really enjoyed our meal.

Lomo Saltado

We had a great first experience at Chifa Du Kang! Started off with delicious egg rolls, split the HUGE "smaller portion" of special fried rice and also split the Lomo Saltado (think Chinese pepper steak but with French fries). I was surprised how good the French fries were! I thought they would be soggy in the sauce but they were perfect. All the meals are meant to be shared family style so keep that in mind when ordering. You will have leftovers!

I follow their IG page and have been wanting to try their food. I was not disappointed. My friend and I had the Pork Min Bao, the Especial Arroz Chaufa, the Pollo Chi Jau Kay, and the Carne de Res con Frejolito Chino. Everything was delicious. The portions are huge as it's family-style dining. I don't remember our writer's name, but the service was excellent. He offered us dessert at the end....but we were stuffed and couldn't eat another bite. I definitely plan to visit Chifa du Kang again.

Chaufa Especial---fried rice with chicken, pork, and shrimp

Chifa is located in a plaza on the north side of Miramar Parkway, just east of the I-75 interchange. There is lots of parking. The place is smaller than I expected but definitely seats more than 70. Alas, there was no ceviche for my husband because the menu focuses on Peruvian Chinese. The server was very helpful and told us that the dishes come in two sizes. A small feeds 1-2 people and the large feeds 3-5. We ordered small dishes to feed 3 people and brought home leftovers. An acquaintance raved about their fried rice, so we had the Chaufa Especial---fried rice with chicken, pork, and shrimp. We also ordered the Tay Pay Du Kang, which is shrimp, chicken, pork, and quail egg with sauteed vegetables. Of course, we had to try the lomo saltado. White rice does not come with the stir fried entrees, so we got a bowl for $3.50. The beef in the saltado was a bit tough and the the dish was salty. It was our least favorite of the three. The stir fry with quail eggs and vegetables was just right with lots of protein and crunchy bok choy. We all three adored the fried rice and thought it was among the best we have ever had. A 15% tip is automatically added to each check. Ours was a tad more than $84 for 3 entrees, a bowl of rice, and a can of soda. We definitely will be back for more fried rice, and we have our eyes on a few other entrees we want to try. There are quite a few vegetarian options, which makes the restaurant ideal for dinner with my sister who lives nearby.

Passion fruit dessert

Paula was our waitress and I was eating dinner with my father. I had the chicken Chifa and my father had lomo saltiado. Both dishes were delicious. Paula was very informative and friendly. She recommended my father's dish and recommended the passion fruit dessert which is her favorite dessert. I ordered the passion fruit dessert and it was great. Great restaurant with polite staff. Will come again with family.

This place is sooooo fire ! We always order take out but this time we dinned in and it was an amazing experience. Ask for Alejandra the Colombian girl she was soooooo attentive! The super nice waiter that feels like a friend, yes that's her ! Arroz chufa de res is my favvv . We alternate between the lemon chicken and orange chicken both are good. The pork & shrimp dumplings to start are savory ! Get that too.

The only thing better than the food was the service and the food was AMAZING! 1000 thanks to our server Nestor for explaining the menu and being patient with us newbies

I did a UberEats order from this restaurant while at work today, and though the food arrived hot and fairly quick, the flavors were not there. I ordered from the Mirmar location, and the service I used did deliver to Sunrise. Everything was nicely packed, there was no spilling, so I definitely appreciate that. I ordered from the appetizer menu 2 egg rolls along with 6 pieces fried pork wonton, and for the main I choose the combination tallarines con chaufa: which is stir fried noodles with half special fried rice, which also came with 2 fried pork wontons on top. The wontons were not worth it for me, as you can see from my images: there's a TINY center of a small piece of steamed pork, and then a giant fried batter/ wonton dough. It was crispy, and flaky, but for a wonton, there was not much to it. The egg rolls were ok, packed with lots of veggies and bits of pork throughout. The main was good, it's definitely worth sharing because they do give you a lot. The main dish was $22.00, which I feel is a bit hefty. The flavors were ok, nothing that made my mouth water for the next bite! Flavors are very mild and mediocre. If I was to ever visit the restaurant in person, I'll definitely leave an updated review, and also comment on the in person service and ambience.

Loved that bag!! There were fortune cookies to take, sauce packages as needed, plastic forks, even plates, napkins, everything there if you needed it! Nicely organized. Oh I forgot I also got the spring rolls. So I ate a spring roll in the car! Lol. It was good- nothing extravagant, just good. Then we got home and I unpacked everything and the portions are generous as we both ate nice portions and still had leftovers for tomorrow. The food was okay, there was sufficient chicken, veggies, the noodles were a tad too big for me, and the pork fried rice was also nice. I enjoyed the food, but I was not wowed. Somehow I was expecting more... perhaps the hype? Anyway, all was good and we had some Chinese food and we enjoyed it! Yummy!

The edamame and pineapple in the katsu were a fresh touch that I really loved. Another major standout my friend got was the golden curry pineapple fried rice with shrimp. The balance of the savory curry heat with the sweet bursts of pineapple and plump shrimp was absolutely delicious. I usually approach fusion restaurants with a healthy amount of skepticism. Too often, they feel…read morelike culinary speed dating, two cuisines forced together in the hope that chemistry magically appears. More often than not, one side dominates, the other disappears, and everybody loses. At Amazonia, a Japanese-Peruvian restaurant in Miami, that fear evaporates somewhere around the first bite. The opening argument came in the form of Gyoza Huancaína, pan-fried dumplings stuffed with lomo saltado and served with a vivid yellow huancaína sauce. It is the kind of dish that sounds gimmicky when described aloud. Then you eat it. The dumplings delivered deep savory notes from the beef, while the creamy sauce added brightness, spice, and richness. It felt less like a fusion experiment and more like a dish that had always existed. Four dumplings arrived on the plate. Four was not enough. My entrée, the Midori Risotto, continued the conversation between Japan and Peru. A strikingly green risotto made with kale and edamame arrived topped with grilled shrimp, microgreens, and dots of black garlic aioli. The rice was cooked properly, retaining a slight bite, while the edamame added texture and sweetness. The shrimp brought balance to the richness, and the black garlic aioli quietly tied everything together. It was a dish that managed to be both comforting and elegant. To drink, I ordered the Nikkei Lemonade, a blend of yuzu, Peruvian ginger, and huacatay. Bright, citrusy, and refreshing, it reset the palate after each bite and served as a reminder that the fusion extends beyond the food. My wife chose the braised short rib, a dish for diners who may not be ready to take the full leap into the restaurant's more adventurous offerings. Braised for 72 hours and served over mashed potatoes, it collapsed under the gentlest pressure from a fork. The beef was intensely flavorful, and the braising liquid was rich enough to make you consider asking for a spoon. Dessert brought one final East-meets-West moment. The Flan Nikkei paired a silky custard with miso caramel, whipped cream, and fresh strawberry. The miso added just enough savory depth to keep the sweetness from becoming predictable. It was a thoughtful ending to a meal built on thoughtful combinations. Amazonia succeeds because it understands something many fusion restaurants do not. Combining cuisines is not about piling flavors on top of one another. It is about finding where they naturally intersect. Here, Japanese precision and Peruvian boldness meet in the middle, and both emerge better for it. Fusion rarely wins me over, but Amazonia makes a compelling case for keeping an open mind.
