It does not say "Until supplies run out". At 7:00PM, the 2 lb. packages marked at $1.88/lb were gone. There were a number of smaller packages at $2.49/lb. With 50 minutes of the sale left, and meat available, the store should have honored the $1.88 price. I aksed the manager on duty, she said I would have to pay the $2.49. Don't get me wrong, I appreciated the sale and would have purchased more, but that type of customer service is not what we have grown to know from our local Chief Store. What a Value Pack is to one person, is something different to the next. If it were after 8:00PM, fine, I would not have had an issue. I was one of many customers who would have made a purchase. Most of the problems are at the self checkout lanes and the service desk. Terry and Jodi are the worst. I was trying to resolve a problem at the service desk and Jodi walked away and left me standing there with no resolution. Terry likes to sit in his chair three feet from a customer at the self scan and stare at them while they scan over $131 of groceries. If there was another option to buy groceries that are not grossly overpriced in this podunk town, I would never shop at this Walmart again.

I was on hold for 10 minutes, then transferred to the department I needed, and placed on hold there another ten minutes. Someone finally answered the phone and placed me back on hold and after another 5 minutes the phone just started ringing nonstop, no one answered. Out of desperation I called the electronics department. To my great surprise someone answered the phone and said they would page a service desk person to come to the phone. I was then disconnected. I called back several more times but by then I was so upset I decided to forget about going there. This is atrocious customer service. I asked to speak to a manager, and no one would connect me to one. I now really truly hate this store.

We looked at some of the displays on their history while waiting to see if a worker would show up so we could watch the factory tour movie. Eventually a very friendly worker appeared from the back and we bought two tickets ($3 each but it should be free) for the 15 minute movie. The 10 mins of the movie that actually showed the production was very good and the pumped in aromas were a fun touch. The rest of the movie was goofy and for the kids. We didn't play any of their video games which were geared to kids. That is their main audience afterall. We did purchase a few bags of goodies but none of their famed dum dums. Barely worth the detour...
